It was probably leaked the same way as Blood Dragon. The game was on uplay servers a month before release, and somebody managed to download it straight from the client. Judging by the torrent names it really was downloaded through the uplay client
What's scary is that there's no scene release yet. One of the releases is named after a Ubisoft cracking release group (don't want to write any names), but it's most probably fake. Yes, it does work, but it's another bitcoin miner.
This may be a marketing campaign by Ubisoft. "You get the game, but you also get a bitcoin miner and a keylogger, have fun!". I mean, this game is kind of about hacking, isn't it?

Uplay is really not that bad. It starts up and closes down in a quarter of a second compared to Steam or Origin so it's a very small price to pay.

My 2500k is overclocked from 3.3 to 3.9GHz, 570 from 732MHz core/1900MHz memory to 770/2000. No idea how much of a difference that makes

So I got WD with my new GPU... I used it to preorder on Uplay (digital obviously). Now, the servers are online and people getting their retail copies and are able to play, while digital users have to wait?

Mine are also overclocked, so I have no idea what's going on, mine is practically unplayable.
Since people are talking about how the game isn't very well optimised, how well would a 280X and i5 4670K @ 4GHz run this?

I must be the only one with corrupted downloads, hell, I had to redownload AC4 8 times to get it to work. Same with Origin and Titanfall.

Also, is anybody else suffering from a glitch where there are no main character voices? I can hear peds just fine, but when Aidan or any other character talks on the phone et cetera, there's nothing.
Where's everyone getting the game? Sorry, I've not been following the thread for a while because I'm already at maximum hype. A link would also be good as well.

Try playing with your audio settings, I remember having the same problem in GTA IV when I didn't have 5.1 set up properly

It was probably just foggy rain in the game when they took the screenshot. Everything looks wet.

Oh, I thought it was some place giving it away early or something. I don't want to pirate it, I just want gaem now. Early copies usually still have loads of bugs from my experience anyway, and it's too much hastle to update them manually tbh.

This is usually related to 5.1 Digital setups, as far as I know theres no way to fix it other than not use DDL or use 2.0

I have a stock i5 3570k @ 3.40GHz, 8GB RAM, and a stock 660Ti, and the game is running pretty damn smooth for me on high settings. It drops to about 35-40 while driving or in some intense action, but otherwise it's at least 50+ and barely has any noticeable slowdowns.
