You press a button to melee someone when they're close enough to you. But only on enemies.
A lot of game torrents have bit coin miners in them now, a lot of them are also very hard to remove. They aren't detected by AV's either.

How good is the freerunning/parkour anyway? Is it like in the asscreeds where you can climb everything, or just a few buildings with painfully obvious climbing spots like in GTA 4?

It's a toned down AC system. Aiden is physically fit, but he's not a ninja. You can't climb buildings exactly, so you use your hacking to make paths to get to high up areas, like moving forklifts and things.
There needs to be a feature as he wants to get up onto a roof or a platform a swarm of quadcopter drones just fly underneath him and form a giant staircase as he walks constantly switching places.
He is the techno king. Climbing is for plebeians.

I've done maybe 3 main story missions and I've spent the rest of the time solving crimes, taking out gang convoys and gang bases, and stealing money from people.
So far, I'm enjoying it a lot and I think it's a really good game that I don't regret buying. But that's just my opinion.

10pm pst is 1am est, but the store page reads for a midnight release for me, which is technically the 27th.

you should have seen the jokes coming out last fall with assassin's creed.
Those water waves on the last few pages looked fantastic. I'd say WD has the best water in a game so far.
