The game stutters to hell for me even on my 780-ti the second I even think about going near a car.
Other than that it runs okay and looks rather nice.
oh damn, I just tried launching the game without logging into my uplay account, and my config and save were gone. when I logged back in, config and save were back. so apparently the leaked copy still uses uplay to store the save data to the cloud? :v: now I won't have to replay what I've done so far when it actually releases, yay!

I do wonder where exactly the performance issues are coming from.
I've heard:
bad threading/core utilisation (likely false, the "proof screenshot" was of Task Manager's CPU%, which doesn't indicate how many cores are used, and besides, low CPU usage doesn'tnecessarily mean more CPU power would make anything faster)
high GPU load
bad content streaming (game is constantly loading stuff from HDD)
bad memory management (high VRAM requirements, inefficient texture loading, high RAM requirements, constantly paging to virtual memory (stored on HDD))
And then of course there was that mining trojan.
Anyone with a high-spec PC and the game installed wanna hit me up on Steam and try out a few things?

since its hosted on the KDE domain, I'm going to assume it's legit but why isn't it listed on nvidia's site yet?
I'm not overly knowledgeable when it comes to GPU/CPU loads and I'm probably going to get called an idiot for asking something really obvious, but given that they said if you want to run it on ultra you'd need a damned high powered CPU/GPU and that people using those exact models or lower seeing really high loads, doesn't that mean that's just utilising it all because it should be? Not because of some terrible problem or a bug, just that the game really does need that much CPU power for all of the AI it's loading in and various systems it's simulating.

So is it normal if my GPU goes between 62C-73C While playing pretty much any "heavy" game ? i ramp up my Fans up to 82% so it keeps things cool but im unsure what are the dangerous temps i should avoid

I'm not super computer savvy, but 62-73C while playing intense games seems fine to me.
The AI I fight are pretty okay.
They search around if they notice someone is hurt, but only those in the general area around the guy patrolling, only if they call their friends which seems to be hit and miss because it's either one guy, or 3-4 of his buddies.

All their drivers say international as far as I know. At the very least I've downloaded them before and didn't even have an language prompt iirc.

I'm on a GT 630m, and based on other test it couldn't run AC4 well so I don't have much hope for this game.

This guy is streaming watch_dogs and he said he was using shadowplay and that it stopped stream.
I had no problems with shadowplay so I said "it doesn't do that"
and he was like "so you're calling me a liar"
and I had to do the Drake and Josh "I ain't sayin you're a truther"

Trainer is just the standard infinite health, ammo, no reload, one hit kills, etc
I tried the 337.81 Drivers. I'm getting the same performance with ultra textures on my 2GB 770, that I did with high textures before. I did turn the number of buffered frames to 1

I just installed beta drivers earlier that seemed to remedy most problems with the game so hopefully it's true that this fixes the stuttering
has this been confirmed by anybody here? I'm installing it now
the biggest problem with the game is the slideshow driving because it makes car chases so hard to do
I hope someone releases a mod soon that lets you do takedowns on anyone you see

There is acceleration, but it can be turned off, mostly, with the config file. Before I turned that off controller was better though Shooting in general feels very different than most games, though I don't know how much the skills change it. Overall with controls, I like the kb+m more than a controller. There is basically no controller customization, Default and 3 different left handed profiles..
Beta drivers posted above fixed my stuttering, fps could be better but it runs a lot more nicely now.
New beta drivers are magic. Bumped up all my shit to ultra besides the textures and it works and looks great.
