Did you know that a large amount of the money in the world doesn't really exist in any physical manner outside of what's stored on a computer? Banks don't actually have vaults filled with all the money that they have in their account databases. It's all based putting value on something that either doesn't have any actual value or doesn't exist.
Uhm. Just because the branch of the bank you go to doesn't have money in the vault doesn't mean that money doesn't exist. Yeah a LOT of money handling is digital now, but there are STILL stores of PHYSICAL money somewhere in the country. In the Federal Reserve, in your bank's main vault, in the other bank's vault, etc. Sure right now my fluid cash balance is represented with 1's and 0's too. But the difference is that I can go to an ATM or a grocery store and take however much of that money I want and actually hold it in my hands. You can't do that with bitcoins or dogecoins or any of these silly coins, and it's a LOT less stable. Look at what happened with the bitcoins. A huge amount of the coin data was "lost" [sp]stolen, hacked, erased, whatever[/sp], that's it, it's gone. Did you own those bit coins? Well too bad they're gone now. Ain't no FDIC insurance on bitcoins. Sorry I don't want to make this into an argument I just feel like I had to broach that subject.
Oh god is it really a magical fix?
yes if you run the game at poor fps, it doesn't improve that at all but it does improve the microstuttering to the point where it's a rare occurrence so driving is now a lot better
holy shit the mouse acceleration in this game is terrible ugh
Can someone help me? Trying to find the video where they showed off hacking other players, and it's from the hackers perspective. All I remember is that he's hiding behind a red car before the hackee sees him through a camera, I can't find the video.

Go to C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\My Games\Watch_Dogs\<some odd number> 2. There should be a file named "GamerProfile.xml". Open it in a text editor of your choice. 3. Look for the following settings and change their values respectively: 4. Set "Sensitivity=" to 1. 5. Set "UseMouseSmooth=" to 0. 6. Set "Smoothness=" to 0. 7. Save and Close the file. Your ingame cursor should now move without accelaration
This ought to work Using the weapon wheel and the Smartphone menu is kind of awkward with mouse and keyboard
have you tried this
Does anyone else feel like everything in this game is underdeveloped? And I mean literally everything?
Does anyone else feel like everything in this game is underdeveloped? And I mean literally everything?
In what way? is it that serious?
The scene your talking about is at the end.
thx bby
In what way? is it that serious?
Yeah? The driving feels mehish. Melee combat is simply reduced to a single button press following an animation. The only interaction you can do with peds on the street is steal their money or listen to their uninteresting phone conversations. Any potential crimes you do find are all the same (stop the convoy, watch a victim/perpitrator until he does something) The campaign missions (at least the first 8 or so I've played) are really lackluster and identical. Advanced hacking is just a pipeline minigame. And the actvity associated with it (intrusion) just involves you doing that and then pressing X on whatever it tells you to press. That's not to say the game is bad but it just feels so underdeveloped.
amd hurry up
I for one am having great fun playing at 24fps on foot and 15fps while driving regardless of graphics settings :suicide:
have you tried this
yeah this was the first thing I did and while it does help a little bit it doesn't fix it entirely oddly enough

Sometimes cars get lost and forget how to turn back on to the road which normally results in this: [vid]http://zippy.gfycat.com/ScaredSorrowfulBrocketdeer.webm[/vid]

I don't know what it is about the game; I want to be excited for it, but something about it just feels..."off" in the footage I've seen.
I for one am having great fun playing at 24fps on foot and 15fps while driving regardless of graphics settings
What's your CPU usage like? Care to run it in Windowed and take a screenshot of Task Manager showing graphs for all 8 logical cores? And while you're at it, RAM usage, disk usage, and page pool size (though I don't remember whether Win7's task manager can show the latter)? Also, I assume it's installed on the HDD?

Yeah, I'm not too impressed with this game, very lack luster.

Only he got stuck in front of the ctOS command center. During a mission. He ruined everything.

what is the fp consensus so far?
what is the fp consensus so far?
it's okay, but personally I don't find much reason to do anything but the campaign as all the other stuff is kind of boring.
Car damage is pretty horrible. Kinda hard even on Normal.
what is the fp consensus so far?
If you like open world games, and can stand a somewhat flawed game(mainly that the physics engine derps up quite a bit) then I say you should pick it up. Whether you pick it up now or in a sale I can't say, I'm glad that I preordered it though.
Sometimes cars get lost and forget how to turn back on to the road which normally results in this: [vid]http://zippy.gfycat.com/ScaredSorrowfulBrocketdeer.webm[/vid]
so basically, just like real life?
Car damage is pretty horrible. Kinda hard even on Normal.
I've had front on collisions so many times and walked away from it with no scratches. I even rammed the back of a police car earlier at top speed. he exploded while I just drove on
i fucking landed on top of a ups(?) truck with a motorcycle and it launched me into the air like 5000 feet. fucking hilarious. you cant even drive on top of other cars.
I don't like it. Controls are awkward, vault cover and melee are the same button so it causes a lot of issues for me. I keep having trouble with the weapons wheel, and it changes my weapons sometimes almost randomly. All the missions are the same so far, car chase or infiltration/exfiltration missions, where you have to escape the cops/"evil hackers" afterwards. The hacking mechanic is just for setting traps and stealing pennies. Most fun I've had is outside of missions activating traffic lights and watching people's reactions. The world is fun to explore and feels alive, but the missions feel boring and repetitive. Also you can't shoot from inside your vehicle what the fuck how am I supposed to take down a car with a motorcycle.
if this game gets rated above a 7/10 then those reviewers are so full of shit, it's not even funny i'm PRETTY SURE the meat of the game is going to be in the multiplayer with invasions and everything the game is literally saints row 3. nothing is ever a challenge and the "press x to win" button is nauseating as fuck
Also I laughed so hard when you go (early game spoiler) [sp]Up to Lena's grave and it says "Press Y to remember"[/sp]
