Make me wonder if the really weird frame rate of Breath of the Wild shown when the dude's outside was either Wii U footage or a rendering glitch from the added footage layer.
Or it's the Wii U version, which would be scary
But what performance boosts are gonna make a big difference? I know I sound ignorant as shit here but I wouldnt think a game like fucking Pokemon on a handheld would ever be subject to arguably shit performance compared to the 3ds because its such a simplistic game. Unless the loading times are significantly faster the only real care factor would come in if there was any noticeable laggy parts when playing it on 2ds or something. But I mean its not like im gonna opt for superior hardware to play 'simple' games when the 2ds still plays them and is cheaper
There's some pretty hard frame drops in the overworld when you're running around with particle effects, and the battles have the tendency to tank every now and then.
wonder how long the battery life will be on the tablet thing
Not long enough. Never long enough.
i would be fine with a 3 to 4 hour battery life.
When are you guys needing more than three hours of battery life? It's hard to not have access to a place to charge. Could it have a removable battery?

I do agree though, unless you're someone going on country long planerides, I really don't see when you'd need something more than 3 hours.

It'd be neat if some third party made a battery pack that was shaped like the tablet gamepad
apparently the 3DS has a battery life of 3.5 hours feels like longer than that
3 hours wouldn't even last the length of my commute.
You spend three hours commuting to work a day one-way?
You spend three hours commuting to work a day one-way?
I'm including there and back because I don't always have access to a power outlet in-between. One way is closer to two hours.

Nintendo battery's are easily accessible.
Power banks are pretty cheap these days, plus you're going to have to keep it in a bag anyway, so it shouldn't be much trouble to have an alternate power source if you're going to be in a position where you'd play it for more than three to four hours while you're out.
Definitely no removable battery, that ain't Nintendo's style.
Literally every Nintendo console and peripheral that takes a battery has had a removable battery. Maybe you're thinking of the 3DS, since it doesn't have an obvious battery door? I've seen some people make that mistake, and it's because the entire bottom panel comes off rather than there being a little battery door.

Then yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they offered one on launch
i would be fine with a 3 to 4 hour battery life.
Hopefully there will be new purchasable batteries, like the ones for the Wii U Gamepad that increased its durability to 5-6 hours.
I always love to see it from the actor's POV. They're just happy looking at a blank screen.
Hey, maybe they are just happy to see the mystical relic that every man has been craving for years.

That single tear rolling off the Wii U gamepad made me chuckle
I wonder why Link owns a PS2. Got everythng else Nintendo.
I wonder why Link owns a PS2. Got everythng else Nintendo.
I imagine he'd be a fan of how Dark Cloud plays.
I wonder why Link owns a PS2. Got everythng else Nintendo.
judging by its positioning DVD player
judging by its positioning DVD player
And I bet those VHS tapes are those video guides for the older games.
Looks like Kirby's SSB4 model has also been done.

Would not be surprised if we saw smash and SMM come to it too (though from her words, SMM might not make it due to certain things behind the scenes) Overall though, I very much trust Emily on her NS stuff now- I was doubtful before, but this source seems much more legit than her previous one (if they are different, maybe they're not, I dunno). Can't wait to see more things confirmed.
