How ironic, he was talking about how surprised there was no leaks during the whole thing, and he most likely leaked more info than Nintendo was comfortable with in that interview :v:
That really sucks, I wonder what part of the video was an issue. Maybe he wasn't supposed to talk about it at all?
I think he had a NDA and that it was still valid even after filming.
My god. I'm 100% convinced that Ground man's level would be more fitting as a wily stage. A lenghty section, then a miniboss that takes forever, after that some more stage, a boss door... and an anyoing puzzle section! I swear pulling non boss door twice during one stage is way too much. Not as bad as the dissapearing blocks on the projector guy's stage, didn't die to those, but the timing is ridiculous, so it took me forever, and best of all, I didn't even have that guy's weakness, so it was all in vain anyway.
I saw the video before it was taken down. The only significant thing to take from it was his claim that the pro controller is the most comfortable controller he's ever held. The rest was just anecdotes about the filming process (apparently they drew a lot of dicks on that chalkboard,) he was careful not to reveal anything that could be news.
he vaguely implied a smash bros port, he quickly said it was just hypothetical but if it is happening and he did know he could get in shit for it
he vaguely implied a smash bros port, he quickly said it was just hypothetical but if it is happening and he did know he could get in shit for it
How would he know though, honestly
How would he know though, honestly
"I don't need money, just pay me in prototypes"
he vaguely implied a smash bros port, he quickly said it was just hypothetical but if it is happening and he did know he could get in shit for it
He very clearly said that he hopes it gets ported and that he doesn't know anything- literally what everyone seems to be saying already.
I think the thing he said that got him in trouble was when he mentioned there's more about the switch couldn't talk about
I think the thing he said that got him in trouble was when he mentioned there's more about the switch couldn't talk about
They can't let us know that there's information we don't know about the switch
They can't let us know that there's information we don't know about the switch
Almost sounds like Fight Club rules: 1) We don't talk about the Switch. 2) We DO NOT talk about the Switch. 3) Someone leaks info, gets interviewed, tests the limits of the NDA guidelines, the launch is over. 4) Only one screen this time.
Yeah, MegaMan & Bass can be a real bitch, even more if you're playing the GBA version instead of the Super Nintendo version.
I don't even know how anyone could play the GBA version of Megaman and Bass. You take up like, a 6th of the screen and that is not okay in a Megaman game. Let alone the most bullshit one in the series.

Considering I can't even beat half the game on the GBA version, I don't have the fortitude and this is coming from a guy that beat the Zero series.
Does anyone know when the Investor Meeting happens today?
I've been thinking about From Software and Nintendo IPs, since they're backing the Switch and whatnot. I think a spinoff Legend of Zelda from From would be fucking incredible. I mean I know they're not doing anything like that but I mean I'd play the everloving hell out of a Twilight Princess re-imagining made by them.
Hyrule Souls is one thing but I'd actually like to see Murasame reinvisioned by either From or Platinum. There's a couple of ways you could do this and I'd like to see both.
Nazo no Murasamejou has a large focus on learning the levels and getting through levels while avoiding enemies and parrying projectiles as you go. It'd be a perfect fit for a Souls-style action game; avoiding traps, disengaging from enemies you can't afford to fight, parrying and deflecting attacks with your sword, using throwing knives/shuriken/fireballs to deflect projectiles and take out enemies, cleverly utilizing your special abilities (invisibility, screen-wide nukes), making the best of your limited health and lives to get as far as possible each time etc. Bosses require you to figure out their timing (how do they throw projectiles, how many between pauses, etc) so you can get in there, land hits and avoid dying needlessly by taking the risks with the most reward. There's hidden shit on each level ranging from health and lives to ability refills that make getting through each level a lot easier when you learn them, meaning you can do super well on a level up until you get to the NEXT level and your ass goes back to being kicked. It'd fit so well in my mind. I've made mad dashes in Souls before to get to bonfires while evading everything I can and remembering whatever sideroutes or secrets I uncover each time. That's like, my ideal Murasame remake in a nutshell.
It'd be interesting to see Murasame get elevated up to even Nintendo's secondary echelon, especially since I imagine most people's first exposure to the series in the West was just the medley in Brawl. But hey, look what happened with Fire Emblem.

For example, robot master stages have barely any instant kill spikes, and when there's some, they don't bother that much even with Megaman. That and you actually get pretty good upgrades from the shop. Energy save upgrade + eddie = lots of health and screws, and you can even change to the more energy upgrade on the fly to get most out of them. I would say that M&B has the most extreme case of "early game hell" of any Megaman game. Then again... I haven't entered the castle yet, only college year zero stands between me and the king's vehicles from 9th circle of hell.
That time of year again. [t]http://i.imgur.com/IKOiv0d.gif[/t] FY2016 Q2 report Some other news of the day. Not disclosing Switch's pricepoint at this time but they will not be sold for a loss. They expect to ship (keyword "ship", not "sell") two million units. They are still working on 3DS stuff. And there might be a testplay for the Switch going on somehow, somewhere

Bass can double jump, which reduces platforming difficulty dramatically & he can shoot in 8 directions, so once you get the power-up that makes the shots go through walls the game should be a cakewalk, but that's not how I remember it. I remember it being like they designed the levels for Bass, then made it beatable by Megaman as an afterthought.
Reminder that this is what Nintendo has to deal with when it comes to investors
http://nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-switch-presentation-announced-for-january-12/
According to a press release issue to the media, it “will be an event for invited media, financial analysts and trade partners in Tokyo that will be globally”. You can expect “the launch date and pricing for Nintendo Switch, as well as a look at the lineup of games currently in development.”
Damn, so that rumor about 'two months of no major Switch info' was dead on after all. People are getting really hostile about rumors, though I understand partly since people won't stop making them. Still, this shows that unlike the Wii U, Nintendo has a goal in mind and they're sticking hard to their guns. Whether it'll pull it off is a different story.
January isn't too bad, two months before Release, and a couple weeks after Christmas, so they won't have to worry too much about being ignored due to the Reduced prices of other Consoles. [editline]27th October 2016[/editline] Also it seems Nintendo is really confident with the Switch. They appear to be going all out and actually letting people play the Console before Release. I mean they did do that with their previous consoles, but usually it would be at a convention. [editline]27th October 2016[/editline] Did the Switch Click sound change on the website? It sounds like two are being clicked rather than one.
