the next nintendo selects game has been chosen! you can now pick up this 3DS classic for a low price! http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/fwTQzMaztq5oxGJPpt_r8ipyzoKppp_-
If there's actual plans for more MK8 DLC I'm gonna' be so hyped. MK8 is one of my favorite Wii U games and I've dumped HOURS into it.
Hello. I have made a petition to get "Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World" onto the Nintendo Virtual Consoles. Why would they sell a VC title containing 5 mario games when they could easily sell them all seperately for the same price each? Getting something like this on VC is next to impossible.

Getting something like this on VC is next to impossible.
They've already re-sold a version of Super Mario All Stars for the Wii, minus Super Mario World however, as a way to celebrate the series 25th anniversary, and it's still listed on Nintendo's site for $20 at a few online stores. Which is the same price of buying the original games, just with the benefit of them having the upgraded graphics/sound and an in-game save file system. I could see them bringing that to the Wii U e-shop, and perhaps having a bundle deal for Super Mario World that upgrades it to the "Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World" edition of the game for around $25-$30, which would only be $3 cheaper (or $2 more expensive) than buying the original NES games and Super Mario World.

I'm British, but i'd think the Kirby Dream Collection beats out the Super Mario All-Stars one. it had Dream Land, Adventure, the Dark Matter Trilogy (2..yes despite GB games never being VC at the time, 3 and 64) and Super Star. plus a few episodes of the Anime, that and it was the only way before Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe that Japanese/Americans knew that RETURN TO DREAMLAND SPOILERS [sp]Magolor seemingly survived, and is now on the side of good[/sp], us brits had to wait for that 3DSWare game to come out to find out that spoiler.
Olaf's Quest gets to join the other fine titles available for Nintendo Selects/Player's Choice, such as: [T]http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/7/3/7/53737_front.jpg[/T]
Does anybody have a list of the new nintendo select games? I can't find any information anywhere.
Replayed the metroid prime trilogy after not having played them since 2005-2007. Being able to beat prime 1 in 7.5 hours when it took me like 2 years on and off as a kid felt good. Same with prime 2. I played them all on veteran which i read is about the same as normal in the original games. Didn't die once which i felt somewhat proud about.
Was that the beat em up game? I actually kinda liked that one.
Can confirm it was the shit and 100 times better than Shrek Extra Large. Anyone who has even tried Extra Large knows the horror of that game.

My shovelware sense wasn't as strong as it is now, but I remember enjoying it well enough.
If my Timehop posts are correct, the Wii U was announced (as well as Smash 4) 5 years ago todayish?
guess who got this for 35 bucks [t]http://i.imgur.com/MElWfoe.jpg[/t] now I'm only missing Pandora's Tower. Last Story is pretty great so I hope this is just as good.
NEW ARTWORK! [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CkcBYrVWsAAlFk7.jpg:large[/t] I'm jumping of joy and it's just a still image for fuck's sake. One thing that is weird about this: He's right handed on official artwork. Are they actually changing that much of the formula?
Wasn't he right handed before in TP and SS, though?
TP was because it's just the GameCube version but they mirrored everything, Skyward Sword because -~motion controls~- and most people would play right handed, making it more comfortable for them don't know why WiiU Link is a righty tho
Wasn't he right handed before in TP and SS, though?
Only in Skyward Sword, both ingame and art. He was always drawn left-handed in all of TP's artwork and was shown right-handed in both TP Wii and TPHD Hero Mode (because both are mirrored) only ingame. Oh, and Master Quest in the OoT3D remake. This is the second game where he is officially drawn right-handed. I wonder if they might let the player choose which hand he uses. Even light customization options would be a nice change to Zelda.
Seeing a lot of people getting worked up/excited on Twitter over a single piece of artwork. Hope they're not setting themselves up for disappointment..
Seeing a lot of people getting worked up/excited on Twitter over a single piece of artwork. Hope they're not setting themselves up for disappointment..
Some might but we know next to nothing of the game so it's their loss really. I mean, all the picture depicts is Link on Epona, which we already know is in game. We saw it motion a couple of times, both in cutscene and in (early build) game. I don't get what's there to be disappointed about when all they shown is related to what we have. They've shown a weird Sheikah/Timeswift Stone hybrid symbol (presumably drawn on the cover of the book he carries) and artwork of Link with a bow and that blue arrow. The only gameplay mechanics we know of are Bullet Time (Arrow Time?) off Epona, Epona's AI avoiding obstacles, beacons, weakpoint making a different, distinct sound, wildlife reacting to Link/Epona, Link being able to use his shield (alongside sword and bow) while riding and apples growing on trees. We don't know why Link isn't wearing his green tunic. We don't know what the book he carries does but it's definitely important. We don't know what those blue energy arrows do or if they even kept the bomb arrows from the teaser. We don't know what the big beamos-like robot is (boss or random foe). We don't even know if Link has a companion or not (and hopefully, none aside Epona. Like Wind Waker and the King of Red Lions, which this game feels like it's inspired from it. Except Epona doesn't talk.) We don't even have a proper title. I only pointed out the right-hand hinting at customization but it could be Nintendo going "Fuck it, Link is right-handed now because we said so." I don't expect customization but it would be nice. I can live without it. The things that would disappoint me greatly is console version differences (like performance and visuals) and the formula not being revamped like they mentioned so many times. That's it. My bar is pretty low for everything else. And it's Zelda. I had fun with Skyward Sword despite its many flaws. Unless this game somehow goes lower then SS, it will be hard to disappoint me. I can't speak for others tho. I've learned to not get too hyped over something (*coughmightyno9cough*) but these give a little jolt of joy.
People are most likely overhyping themselves about it and I feel it's kind of a huge mistake to dedicate a day to it or whatever's going on at E3 because if it turns out as bad as SS people are going to look back on it even harsher in the future. I'm just not willing to let myself get hyped either way. Twilight Princess was ok at best (talking original release) and I thought SS was just flat out bad so I don't know why I'd let myself get excited if the past 2 games didn't wow me. That and Skyrim-like games suuuuuck in my opinion and I'm not looking forward to requiring waypoints to get around. It's not what I personally want. That and Nintendo has never made a decent Zelda field before so having a game that's nothing but field is super nerve wracking. Sorry if I'm being too sour, I want the game to impress me but the last time I was truly taken in by Zelda was Wind Waker :c
Only in Skyward Sword, both ingame and art. Sift, you do know that Nintedo's E3 stream is no longer going to be only about Zelda right?
Sift, you do know that Nintedo's E3 stream is no longer going to be only about Zelda right?
I don't recall the whole plans but isn't it Day 1: Zeldafest Day 2: Everything else?
Wait, Sift. When I said "Lower then Skyward Sword", you know I was joking, right? Do you really expect the next game to be on par or lower then Legend of Corridors: Let's Reused the Same Areas Twice? I knew you were pessimistic but man... I guess you really want that bar lower then the floor. And no Motion Controls! How is that not a plus already! That's like a tier over. As for your complaint of waypoints, all but SS had a proper warp ability. Going around a 3D Zelda game was never as tedious as Skyrim, WWHD being the most fun to just travel around in a boat. Also, we've seen rocky, narrow paths and cliffs so "fields being nothing but fields" is a weak excuse. It's like I said Wind Waker's field is nothing but water when it's an ocean. There is far more terrain variety in the Game Awards footage then TP ever dream of. If it makes you feel better, Zelda U so far looks a lot like Wind Waker, both visually and gameplay-wise. I mean, you let Epona on auto pilot you to a location like the King, except she will actively avoid obstacles and (if I remember right) Eiji did mention you could give Epona a direction and she would find a route for you. The early build UI assets were also ripped from WW as well as sharing a very similar cel-shading. We get fun mechanics like Bullet Time and maybe more weapon variety (last footage shown a two-handed sword on Link's back). Seeing as there is no fairy/imp companion so far, I say it's extremely close to Wind Waker and that's a great point.
Sift, you do know that Nintedo's E3 stream is no longer going to be only about Zelda right?
Going to guess he doesn't but we spoiled that surprise now.
