What channel do you have it on? What kind of tv do you have and how is the Famicom set up?
I had it on channel 95/ch1, though 96/2 gives a better picture. I have it plugged into a NES RF switch.
Try lowering the microphone slider on controller 2 to it's lowest setting.
I've tried that, and I've even tried unplugging the P2 controller internally. It didn't make any difference.

It was funny seeing this one game among 9 well-established games on the Wii U TV menu.
Does anyone here know anything about Famicoms? I bought one recently, and I can get a picture just fine on my TV, but the sound is nothing but a loud buzzing and sometimes you can faintly hear a radio station.
it's definitely haunted

Unfortunately, this sounds like an incompatability with the CRT it is used with now, and would require testing with a different CRT to confirm if it's the Famicom or the connection. This sounds like the CRT's frequencies are not lining up with what is anticipated by the Famicom, and as such if true it will never work correctly on the CRT you are currently testing with barring modding the Famicom to support AV, which is a permanent modification and not something I'd recommend without prior experience in modding hardware with soldering.
Channels 95/96/97 are used for Famicoms on an NTSC TV because these line up with the video frequencies for channels 1/2 in Japan. However, it is not guaranteed that the sound will fall into the same frequencies as the video and it's fairly common to have a CRT that doesn't if it isn't from the 90s. The easiest way to check this is to see if you get decent sound on another channel like 94 or 98, although this won't work on some TVs.

I wasn't using a CRT to test, I was using my HDTV. Though I did also try it out with an old VCR and got the same result. I'll try it with my old Trinitron next but if that doesn't work then I don't know what to do.
Dragon Quest 7 3ds is really good
tho it's pretty long
screw the NES Mini, I really want that Famicom Mini.

Use different cords than the nes cords.

The Famicom is rf only, the rest of the world got lucky by having av cables with the nes.
If I remember right the rf cable is hardwired to the system so you can't even swap it out.

Nope, it has the same plug as the RF connector on the NES.
Also, while I like the mini Famicom, they made the controllers smaller too, which looks like it'd be stupid annoying.

Ah my bad then, maybe I was thinking of those old ataris then.
Those rf connectors can go bad and have wired results. I have 3 of them and 2 of them both do different things. Luckily I dont mess with RF anymore because of picture quality
The Kirby Café is shutting down.

It was always suppose to be a temporary thing.

Japan cycles video game cafe's all the time, it's nothin new.
I don't think any of them are ever meant to last forever.

It's a pop up cafe, which means they take a regular restaurant in Japan and temporarily convert it into one based on a piece of media, usually an anime or something like that. They put up decor and change the menu to make it all themed, and they keep it like that for a few months. It was meant to run until the end of October.
Apparently, according to a video by Super Bunnyhop, the restaurant was insanely popular, with people waiting in line for hours and reservations for an entire day being taken up within minutes. Not only that but according to him the food was amazing.
Hopefully with the insane demand they might consider making a more permanent location one day.

Good to hear it was successful and went out on their own terms.
And when you think about it, Kirby 25th anniverssary is next year. So who knows, it might come back.
The gif that was posted in the tweet also ended witn "fin?" so who knows, could always make a comeback.
I'm sure of it. It seemed quite successful.
Reminder that the Animal Crossing Direct is tomorrow, 7 AM PST/10 AM EST/2 PM UK/3 PM CET. The Japan direct is also going to have some news about Miitopia as well. No Switch games and no mobile games either. In other news SquareEnix said they're going to have news about Dragon Quest VII at the end of December.
New Leaf direct specifically. I'm sure it'll concern DLC.
Anything else we should excpect other than Amiibo content?
Anyway i'm glad Nintendo is digging this game out of the grave. But i'm still affraid to come back to my old village .
The gif that was posted in the tweet also ended with "fin?" so who knows, could always make a comeback.
It said fin because the cafe is specifically requesting Kine to be in the next game.
is this real?
