$1 a card, not even yugioh is that expensive
I should know, because I have an unhealthy amount of yugioh cards
Yu-Gi-Oh also doesn't have NFC chips inside.
Gonna have to elaborate on that? Sell my catalog? As in, sell off the ability to rebuy certain items?
When you sell your town if Nook is interested he'll make a offer. You can accept it, then he'll make a offer to buy your catalog.
If you don't sell it to him when you get to the new town you make you'll be able to order stuff again.
I wouldn't mind if it wasn't random packs. That's why I compared it to Yugioh
The grab-bag method is not the way to do DLC.
I'm gonna be a stickler but it's not really DLC technically.
I truly wonder if they'd bring Isabelle back when they make a new main Animal Crossing game. There's pretty much no reason to assuming its an entirely new village where the game takes place in, yet I can see them doing it easily.
She's become a sort of mascot, so I can see it happening.
Seeing as every town has its own clones of Tom Nook and other special villagers, I don't see why they couldn't bring Isabelle back as well. Besides, she's way too popular to leave behind.

My headcannon is the villagers are immortal but the Villager isn't.
So it's the same town, just over various years as you've died.
Isabelle for HHA representative, Lyle for snake oil salesman
I hate the fact that I read Lyle's speech like a Trump tweet now
Crook Nook
There's literally no way in hell they're EVER going to drop Isabelle. She's literally the face of Animal Crossing now.
Isabelle for the inevitable Smash 4 Switch
I remember when the "horses don't run into trees" video came out, people speculated that the map is Zelda II-inspired
If that's true I hope that means we'll get a remix of the temple theme from Zelda II.

So good.
I can only hope they can top this fan remix of it if they do:

[sp]Yes it is actually SNES compliant and has an spc file for verification[/sp]

Literally.
The Monster Hunter Stories amiibo work on the English version of ACNL:

This probably means the Sanrio amiibo cards do too. They likely bothered to localize all of this for the sake of 100% international online compatibility. It's not too surprising since the other Japan-only crossover stuff is localized too (7-Eleven and Campus), but it's cool that these amiibo now have a western use other than just for collecting.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
Ah, apparently the UK version of the Direct actually confirmed the Sanrio cards for Europe.
Literally.
Well it's not like it isn't true v:v:v
Well it's not like it isn't true v:v:v
It quite literally isn't not true.
Man I'm glad I got all the villagers I wanted ages ago.
I remember when the "horses don't run into trees" video came out, people speculated that the map is Zelda II-inspired
Wait, how did people get Zelda 2 from that video? Not the quote I hope because that's just kinda silly
anyone else planning on playing zelda botw on the wii u instead of the switch? always been hesitant on buying launch consoles
anyone else planning on playing zelda botw on the wii u instead of the switch? always been hesitant on buying launch consoles
Still on the edge between yes and no.
Already preordered it on Wii U and it only depends on the actual differences between the versions (that Nintendo hopefully mentions somewhere which they probably won't). Oh and what would the other launch titles too.
There is a higher chance I go for it due to the fact that it would be my first ever day one console in my life, tho I should be cautious. First batches of a console usually come with a few problems and bugs which is worrisome in our day and age where smartphones blow up in flames (exaggeration here but you get what I mean)
anyone else planning on playing zelda botw on the wii u instead of the switch? always been hesitant on buying launch consoles
Depends on framerate.
anyone else planning on playing zelda botw on the wii u instead of the switch? always been hesitant on buying launch consoles
Depends on the launch titles that the Switch is going to have. If they're good and not just Zelda, I'll Switch to that (heh). If not, Wii U version.
anyone else planning on playing zelda botw on the wii u instead of the switch? always been hesitant on buying launch consoles
Depends on:
1. Price of the Switch
2. Framerate/resolution of BotW on Switch
If the Switch comes out at less than $300, and BotW runs at 60 FPS on it while docked, then I'll probably pick up the Switch version.
Otherwise, it'll probably be the Wii U version, though the idea of a fully portable full Zelda experience is very tempting.

not too far off
If any of you have a Splatoon RV on their campground, would you mind inviting me over for a bit?
vv You need to buy the storeroom upgrade from Tom Nook first
So, how do you move furniture with the touchscreen? I thought I heard that was a part of the update.
How do people like their ACNL towns to be laid out? I personally like my Re-Tail to be as close to the beach as possible for easy money and as few ponds as possible.
I know I wish my Re-tail wasn't on the opposite side of town from both the train station and my house; makes selling 6000 turnips every week a bit slow.
I actually really wish they had just put a storage locker in the store, so selling things in bulk wouldn't be such a pain.
So, how do you move furniture with the touchscreen? I thought I heard that was a part of the update.
You need to go to town to learn it. You need to have the "secret storeroom", then pass a small tutorial with Lottie to then be able to use the touch screen to decorate.

Cool, thanks. I heard about Lottie showing up, but I just haven't built the storeroom yet.
