One hour and 55 minutes. "quick look" You can't fool me, Giant Bomb.
One hour and 55 minutes. "quick look" You can't fool me, Giant Bomb.
They aren't lying, it is a quick look at each individual game- that just totals to being an hour and 55 minutes. (They haven't been quick for a very, very long time, unless the game is very storybased) Speaking of the same video, about a quarter of the way through, one of the Gamespot guys walks in with a sliced NES Classic- sounds like it's bolted in there with no way of putting new games in, but hollow enough to put a Raspberry Pi inside. Good to know!
So, how do I evict a neighbor then? Biff has overstayed his welcome by 3 long years...
Oh I like the "Link Hat", "Link Outfit", "New Hero Wig", and "New Hero's outfit" they added in the new patch.

Biff has overstayed his welcome by 3 long years...
When you have 10 villagers call in a 11th via the cards (dunno if campground folk will do it). When you ask them to move in they'll mention the town is full and then come up with a idea to kill a villager of your choice and take their place. Pick the person you want to execute and they'll handle the rest.
$1 a card, not even yugioh is that expensive I should know, because I have an unhealthy amount of yugioh cards
Pot of Desires says "hi".
Pot of Desires says "hi".
Pot of Desires might be good, but it's not Toadally Awesome! ... I'll show my way out.

There's the Hero's set which has been since launch, those two are new.

But since they mentioned using the eviction method to get i.e. a town full of squirrels, it might work with normal villagers/campground people, not sure.
Wait is there really an eviction method now?
Wait is there really an eviction method now?
Kind of, you can tell an Amiibo villager to move in and select the villager to move out.
Kind of, you can tell an Amiibo villager to move in and select the villager to move out.
I'm so sold on my newly found dictatorial powers
There are. There's the Hero's set which has been since launch, those two are new.
Well that's excessive :v:

Looks like there is some Nintendo Switch Rumors going around:
Nintendo Switch includes an NFC ID card to download your content onto friends devices; eg unlockable characters in Mario Kart that you’ve unlocked, possibly games you own temporarily downloaded. This is their ‘next best’ solution for poor battery life. A card will be included, but new cards will be purchasable for around $10. Custom cards can be bought through Nintendo website.

MK8, Smash, and Splatoon will have ‘Directors Cut’ editions at launch, which include previous DLC plus new content. If you own them digitally on Wii U you can download them for FREE. Nintendo is trying to co-operate with retailers for a trade-in system to ‘upgrade’ your Wii U physical copies for free or very discounted price.

Super Mario Switch (title not confirmed) is supposed to feel like a combination of all previous 3D Mario titles. Control scheme supposedly somewhere between 64 and Sunshine. Some levels will connect into each other ala Banjo Tooie. For example, the ice hub may have a 2D level that connects you to the desert level. There is a new collectible that will unlock hats/ powerups/ allow access to new levels (a la metal boots in 64 to sink and access new areas). 2 Player co-op with Luigi will be possible with Joy-Cons.

Nintendo is working on a Rhythm Heaven game with Nintendo characters. Switch bundles will be $260 for basic, $300 for Mario bundle, and $340 for Zelda bundle with Pro Controller.
As always, take it with a grain of salt.
Those rumors came from a anonymous post on /v/ Saw that thread ground floor [editline]4th November 2016[/editline] The biggest give away was Nintendo upgrading things for free They don't even do that for VC games

Got some pictures of the new Link stuff, courtesy of IGN.
why would anyone ever believe anonymous rumours from /v/
Wasn't the ESRB Smash leaks from /v/?
why would anyone ever believe anonymous rumours from /v/
Sometimes actual info gets leaked there. Plus if you want something to spread on the internet life wildfire, you go to /v/. Actual devs from all over shitpost there you know. I mean obviously you want to take all of it with a grain of salt, but I'd still say to keep it noted
If there was a theoretical Sm4sh: Directors Cut, what's the odds that Nintendo will try and ditch the GC adapter altogether, making it undersell like mad because Smash fans will stick to the Wii U version? I feel like there's a million things Nintendo can do with the Smash series to rake in free sales, like HD remakes, or Smash 4+,Smash 5, etc; yet they'll do none of them because they don't know their fans worth shit.

There's literally no reason to drop support for it, I can't even conceive of the idea- a straight port would have the functionality built inside it, and there are two USB slots on the side so its not like it doesn't have a place to fit.
I feel like there's a million things Nintendo can do with the Smash series to rake in free sales, like HD remakes, or Smash 4+,Smash 5, etc; yet they'll do none of them because they don't know their fans worth shit.
HD Remakes take a lot of money for a niche audience, Smash 4+ is probably happening because it was one of the biggest games on the Wii U much like MK8, and Smash 5 is almost certainly happening (maybe not with Sakurai at the helm, the man is really fucking tired of this series). Nintendo is smarter than you or most skeptics give them credit for.
The New Leaf update is really tempting me to reset my town and get back into the game, but I don't want to do that and pour a ton of work into my town and then find out we're getting the next game on the Switch next year or something. I'm not particularly expecting a new AC game next year but I'm gonna feel dumb if that does end up happening.
(maybe not with Sakurai at the helm, the man is really fucking tired of this series)
The day they started work on Smash 4 Switch, Sakurai burst into the offices and shouted "JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I GOT OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN", then proceeded to list off all the new stage hazards he had in mind as well as showing some sketches of an unreleased Fire Emblem protag with moveset ideas. Serious discussion, I don't think the actual tablet controller has USB slots in it so you can't take your GameCube controllers on the go, so you're probably at the mercy of wireless controllers or gimmick shaped joycons. Not that anyone plays portable Smash.
Hey everyone, 'member Miitomo? No? Well whether you do or not, there's a fairly big (mandatory) update coming in the next few weeks. Soon you will be able to: Send direct messages to people on your friends list Customize what your room looks like by picking a wallpaper and floor design Turn miifotos into posters and hang them up Share your costumes with the world and answer publicly posted questions in Style/Answer Central Have..."Sidekick" Miis? They inhabit their own rooms, kinda like Tomodachi Life? Checking in for two minutes every day is finally going to pay off. There's a Miitomo thread that's just as buzzing and full of life as the game itself, and I've posted this there too.
Here are pics of the different isabelle amiibo outfits. Sadly I dont have the kimono amiibo card tho. Not that anyone plays portable Smash.
As I said, the dock has two USBs on the side, so you'd just play it there- most if not all tourneys would do it docked, so its not a big deal Sidenote on the joycons- I'm gonna guess that's the gimmick that gets dropped early on in making games for it. Most multiplayer games don't have simple controls like that, so most companies would probably go for joyconstogether+pro controllers. Of course, I'm sure enough indie games use such control schemes that would make it worth it, but perhaps that could be said for all gimmicks
So how do I get Wisp to show up in ACNL? I decided to go back to my current town, haven't managed to find him.
I randomly stumbled upon his lamp at night, he beckoned me to walk to a certain area and there his lamp appeared
I randomly stumbled upon his lamp at night, he beckoned me to walk to a certain area and there his lamp appeared
It has to have been a day since you updated. His lamp was right behind my house :v:
I'm hoping for Wisp to show up at midnight then, if not I dunno when he shows up.
[sp]-update your game -set the in game time to 12 am - 4 am, i set mine to around 1 am (or just play at that time) -go to the campsite and then walk back out -walk around your town for a bit until someone says “E-excuse me… You, over there!” (i think you have to be in an area where there is room on the ground, so nowhere filled with paths or flowers with no gaps on the ground) -a lamp will appear on the ground and ask you to pick it up, agree to and press Y to pick it up -take the lamp to your home, put it down on a surface and interact with it, then wisp will appear! [/sp]
