*basically a novel*
I meant more in the sense of customization. I'm seeing a lot of people thinking this right handed Link confirms customization for some reason. And I've been seeing people think this is the first Link that looks feminine which confirms gender options. Link has always had a somewhat feminine look in the 3D games outside of the Wind Waker styled games. People need to seriously chill out. Personally I don't care what gender Link is or what hand they use to hold the sword. I just want a good adventure game.
Wait, gameplay wise? Alpha we've seen like a grand total of 3 minutes of very very very little gameplay of the new Zelda, I'm hoping this E3 sheds more light on the combat, overworld, and dungeons in general. and what surprise?
and what surprise?
Day 1 is not Zelda exclusive. They will be showing other stuff. Zelda will most likely take the majority of the time but they'll keep it for the end so people keep watching all the rest. Hell, we might even get a surprise reveal. We don't know! Maybe they said that E3 will focus on Zelda so other fans don't expect, I dunno, a teaser for a Metroid Prime game (not Federations) or another dead IP. Or not.

Edit: Most likely Yokai Watch 2, the new pokemon, and Federation Force as well, they've already abandoned the Wii U at this point so all they have left is filler crap and 3DS games. So I'm not holding out for surprises.
I hope link wears that awesome blue hooded outfit the whole game. The green hero outfit is iconic but it's getting stale.

Nothing else -negative backlash happens over a month or so- Fine we'll bring other games too but Zelda will still be the focus for a day -confusion- Nintendo then issued like 3-4 clarifications that Zelda day will also have Monster Hunter Generations, #FE and some other game I can't recall. It's really unorganized and slapped together sounding. [editline]8th June 2016[/editline]
Wait, Sift. When I said "Lower then Skyward Sword", you know I was joking, right? Do you really expect the next game to be on par or lower then Legend of Corridors: Let's Reused the Same Areas Twice? I knew you were pessimistic but man... I guess you really want that bar lower then the floor. And no Motion Controls! How is that not a plus already! That's like a tier over. As for your complaint of waypoints, all but SS had a proper warp ability. Going around a 3D Zelda game was never as tedious as Skyrim, WWHD being the most fun to just travel around in a boat. Also, we've seen rocky, narrow paths and cliffs so "fields being nothing but fields" is a weak excuse. It's like I said Wind Waker's field is nothing but water when it's an ocean. There is far more terrain variety in the Game Awards footage then TP ever dream of. If it makes you feel better, Zelda U so far looks a lot like Wind Waker, both visually and gameplay-wise. I mean, you let Epona on auto pilot you to a location like the King, except she will actively avoid obstacles and (if I remember right) Eiji did mention you could give Epona a direction and she would find a route for you. The early build UI assets were also ripped from WW as well as sharing a very similar cel-shading. We get fun mechanics like Bullet Time and maybe more weapon variety (last footage shown a two-handed sword on Link's back). Seeing as there is no fairy/imp companion so far, I say it's extremely close to Wind Waker and that's a great point. Going to guess he doesn't but we spoiled that surprise now.
I'm not saying that I expect it to be lower than SS. I'm saying that after SS what I see is going to have to impress me before I get excited. SS was reeeeally bad and after thinking that TP was just "alright" I want to be impressed. I didn't think it was me lowering a bar or anything. As for the waypoint thing they've literally said they were inspired by Skyrim like games if I recall, and in the footage we have they set down a giant yellow beacon for players to run to while boasting that Epona can just auto run to them and track around trees which makes me worried that it's going to be too big to have much in it. When something is getting boasted as "You can put the game down and we'll just hurry you to your destination while you check your phone." That's not very encouraging. I'm all for huge maps- just as long as it's actually fun to get around in and it's not just there to waste my time. The second a game gives you a fast travel option, to me in MOST cases, it's the devs admitting that their world isn't interesting enough to explore (see twilight princess and why Epona is useless as shit in that game. Everyone just teleports everywhere pretty quickly) When I say fields being nothing but fields I'm not talking about the terrain either you goof, I'm talking about it being literally a empty field with like a single moblin it it at best. Twilight Princess or Skyward Swords big empty sky and ground . I get your the big zelda buff of this site, I'm just saying it's probably for the best to temper expectations.
But they are showing off Sun and Moon gameplay Sift.
But they are showing off Sun and Moon gameplay Sift.
I can't tell if sarcasm but I can show you what Sun and moon gameplay will look like, it's looked roughly the same for 20 years.
I can't tell if sarcasm but I can show you what Sun and moon gameplay will look like, it's looked roughly the same for 20 years.
Pretty sure the point he made was that it will probably tease some new gen 7 mons if they show a trailer at E3, which is what people are hungriest for.
But they are showing off Sun and Moon gameplay Sift.
Oh right, that was the game I wasn't remembering for whatever reason. I have Moon on order already, I'm always down for a light rpg. Shame it'll never be as good as Cyber Sleuth but that's a once in a lifetime thing so eh :v:

I really wish the Wii-U were more powerfull. On more detailed Wii games, and most 3d Wii U games, it has lag issues. I've been using my Wii-U much more lately, and its downfalls have become much more noticeable. I noticed today that the gamepad cannot be turned off. Mine unsynced months ago and I never needed it. Now that I synced it, it turns on even if i turn the wii on with a wiimote. The display can be turned off, but it needs to be done every single time, and still drains the battery.
I've abandoned my 3ds and Wii U for a while now. What games should I be looking at
I've abandoned my 3ds and Wii U for a while now. What games should I be looking at
:v: The good ones
I've abandoned my 3ds and Wii U for a while now. What games should I be looking at
Fates? Maybe Kirby: Planet Robotot?
Ok, There's a 5th year anniversary sale at E Shop, games such as Metroid prime trilogy and Mario galaxy 2 are 50% off.
Metroid prime trilogy at that price is such a good deal it's not even funny.
So, I was about to purchase Fire Emblem Fates, but there seems to be only one version of the game available on the eshop named just "Fire Emblem Fates". I know that the story is split up in three parts/games, but how many parts of the story does the digital copy contain?
There should definitely be 2 versions in the eShop, Birthright and Conquest. With Revelation only being available for purchase in-game.
I've abandoned my 3ds and Wii U for a while now. What games should I be looking at
What kind of games do you like?
The downloadable version can be either of the two main paths. When you buy it, it just downloads the starting path common to all three games. Once you get to the fork, you can choose either Birthright or Conquest and it'll download the rest of that game's campaign and lock you to it permanently. To get the other path or Revelation, you'll have to buy them as DLC.
Ok, There's a 5th year anniversary sale at E Shop, games such as Metroid prime trilogy and Mario galaxy 2 are 50% off.
As no one can expect anything less at this point, this sale does not affect North America for inexplicable reasoning.
I don't really follow Minecraft much anymore, but this was up on Nintendo's channel. I think it's exclusive? I don't know.
What kind of games do you like?
Anything really. Just don't know what new releases have been out in the past 5/6 months that I missed
Anything really. Just don't know what new releases have been out in the past 5/6 months that I missed
If you like Kirby, I would definitely recommend planet robobot, since it comes out tomorrow. 3DS: Bravely Second (RPG) Hyrule Warriors: Legends (only get this if you have a New 3DS) Fire Emblem: Fates (RPG/Strategy Game) Mario & Luigi Paper Jam (RPG) Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (Co-op game: Only get it if you have a friend who either already has it, or is considering it. It has online so you can play with other people as well) The following games were re-released as Nintendo Selects (aka reprint with a much cheaper price) Ocarina of Time: 3D Donkey Kong Country Returns: 3D Yoshi's New Island Mario Party: Island Tour Wii U hasn't had as many, but these titles are pretty good. Xenoblade Chronicles X (RPG) Pokken Tournament (Fighting Game) Twilight Princess HD (good for if you want to play TP without waggle controls and don't want to pay for the GC version) Yoshi's Wooly World (platformer) Tokyo Mirage Sessions (RPG) comes out June 24th. Just a warning the game is very anime. Pikmin 3, DK Tropical Freeze, 3D World were re-released as Nintendo Select titles as well. Star Fox Zero is hit and miss for most people. I enjoyed it, but I'd say wait for a price drop.
But theres just 1 version, im searching for fire emblem and the only game entries are Awakening, and then this: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/CVNKRb5.jpg[/thumb] The rest is just a bunch of videos.
You have to play till you reach the "Branch of Fate", depending on who you join you either download Conquest or Birthright for free… as a base game. The path you didn't choose has to be purchased seperately, as I experienced. Huh, I should consider both Revelation/Invisible Kingdom and [the path you did not pick] as expansions because you're practically expanding the experience.
So North america are getting Eshop Sales next week on Tuesday. With up to -40%. While Europe gets -50%.
So North america are getting Eshop Sales next week on Tuesday. With up to -40%. While Europe gets -50%.
Tbh the games offered aren't really that impressive, plus there's only like seven or eight (plus a few VC games) offered, including stuff like Colors 3D and a shovelware game with miis
So my copy of Kirby Planet Robobot came in mail yesterday, it's really fun so far, but does anyone else is experiencing framerate drops in certains areas/camera angles?
