I'm currently in front of Walmart in case they have it and they open at 7(pst). If they don't there's a Gamestop at literal walking distance with no line or people, but it opens at 10
A line formed with me in front, and the guy behind me admitted to me that he's only here to resell as many as he can buy :pudge:

My brother got 2 NES classics. They are now sold out all over town.
Just bought 2. Walked out and just watched the line sad when they found out only 12 were brought to the store and everyone in front was buying 2 (the limit per customer). :v:
They finally revealed what the Bravely announcement was all about. Unfortunately it's an iOS and Android mobile game called Bravely Default: Fairy's Effect. Curious if we'll get it.
God i hope i can pick up a NES Classic today.
God i hope i can pick up a NES Classic today.
If you haven't left yet, it's already too late. I live in the middle of nowhere where 3 of the 5 game stores that I went to last year have closed down including a GameStop. People camped outside since 7am and got all of the stock within 3 minutes of opening and not even all of the people that were waiting in these lines were able to get them. This includes locations like Wal-Mart and Target. I would know, I wasted two hours trying to land one.

It's amiibos all over again, why they send out so few?
It's amiibos all over again, why they send out so few?
If a product sells out then it'll appear popular, regardless of how many where actually supplied. Way I see it this increases chance of people talking bout how they couldn't get one and in turn have people more people ordering them for the holidays when they should have plenty in stock.
Any reason why people are seeking out the NES Classic? I honestly don't see the appeal other than novelty.
Any reason why people are seeking out the NES Classic? I honestly don't see the appeal other than novelty.
I'm not ashamed to admit that this why I got it, but I have a friend who wants to play some Super C co-op so this'll be great Also I already got offers from friends to sell my other NES Classic to them for 90. Welp Oh and whoever thought to make the goddamn My Nintendo coins that came with this Platinum coins, fuck you.
I got one! Was 9th in line at Target, they got 23 in, and gave out numbered slips. People came in and tried cutting to the front of our organized line(we all walked single file to the back), but were turned away due to not having a number, and they made a big fuss about it, too. One guy was mad he couldn't buy 3 of them.
First impressions: The short cords meme is very real. My suggestion is to get a long HDMI cord and USB extension instead of a controller extension so you can press reset (unless you have a Wii Classic Controller, because HOME works as the Reset button). Plugging the power straight into my TV via USB was pretty convenient too. Games look great, they play perfectly, no complaints. The CRT filter is okay but it has a weird 480i look to it as if they're faking interlacing on top of making scanlines (fucking why). Other than that I like it.
Let's hope Nintendo won't be dumb and will make SNES Classic
Forgot this was possible, heh. Thanks, now I can sit a bit farther from the TV before I mess up my eyes even more.
Yeah the manual it came with actually mentions that as an option and it totally reminded me of that. But now I'm just looking for a longer HDMI cable, my current setup means that I have to sit on the floor, although is that also for the nostalgia? :v:
I like how with some of the prices I'm seeing on Ebay for the NES mini you can literally buy a real NES and all 30 games listed for the mini in physical form with that money.

https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Entertainment-System-NES-Classic/dp/B01IFJBQ1E 30 minutes the NES Mini will be in stock on Amazon.
And the second I saw the "add to cart" button it's out of stock. A reminder it's 2:01 right now
I mean, you guys could just wait, let the hype die down and the scalpers get fucked, let them waste money on a product that Nintendo intends to make plenty more of, it's not like you'll be missing out on much for the time being. It's like with the Amiibos, eventually Nintendo made enough that the scalpers got fucked over and they couldn't put a strangle hold on the supply, it'll happen here, you just gotta have some patience.
Went out of stock instantly; couldn't add the item to cart. It kept telling me the cart was empty
They can overstock Animal Crossing amiibos, but massively understock a significantly-advertised NES 30-for-$60 deal. Classic Nintendo. It's actually approaching $400 for a sealed unit on eBay at the moment because Nintendo apparently hates making easy money.
Went out of stock instantly; couldn't add the item to cart. It kept telling me the cart was empty
I had one-click ordering on and had a tab with a military clock on and F5'd 3 seconds early just to be sure and I still couldn't get through.
I can't fucking believe it, the Add to Cart button appeared. I pressed it and then showed me that my Cart is Empty. Now the page doesn't even load for me anymore, and it's not whole Amazon, since I can add any items to the cart with no problem. Seriously, there are times that Nintendo really doesn't want my money,

At least there is consolation that they will restock this time, but Nintendo needs to get their shit together on what's hot and what's not.
Don't remind me on the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition.
Does anyone here have 1 pear and 1 coconut in ACNL? I'm trying to finally get the full fruit collection growing.
Kinda amazes me how crazy people are going over an official NES on a chip.
