oh shit are we getting rock climbing?
I'm hoping, with the focus that seems placed on an expanded open world, the hookshot can get spiderman physics in being like a mix of the dual claw and rope claw from WW. Also for there to be a big city to explore with it.
That would make a great dual-monitor wallpaper.
is there a higher quality version of that picture somewhere? Because any optimized upscaler isn't helping
🤔
thank you
aaaaaaaaaaa fucking True Arena is so annoying. I can get through every boss before the last one just fine but jeez [sp]having to go through 4 long phases back to back to back to back with at most 1.4 health bars is brutal. I can't even make it to phase 3. The boss is fucking amazing but man having to master shmup in a platformer is such a bitch. Even worse when 3d is basically required but at the same time in tanks the framerate.[/sp]
*thinking face emoji*
Obviously they're trying something new here, in ALTTP and TP you switched between a light and dark world with the new Zelda you switch back and forth between two genders. :v:
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a female version as Aonuma liked Linkle a lot.

So when it's Nintendo's E3 Zelda Coverage?
*thinking face emoji*
I don't think so, with the initial reveal a lot of people thought Link looked feminine but they debunked it back then too.
Real talk Link has been a very pretty young man for most of his existence. I'm not sure you could tell if there was a fem!Link just by the face. Hell, maybe that's the solution. Have a gender choice at the start that affects nothing (not even the Link model) except pronouns. Girly boy vs androgynous girl as your player character.

I wonder if we're going to get that blue outfit as the main outfit and break away from the green, or if they're just doing it to make the traditional green outfit a surprise.
I don't think so, with the initial reveal a lot of people thought Link looked feminine but they debunked it back then too.
to be fair it's been, what, two years since then? that's plenty of time to change things
I was ONE HIT AWAY FROM BEATING THE ENTIRE TRUE ARENA GOD FUCKING DAMN
Nintendo just posted a high-res version of the leaked artwork on Facebook. [t]http://nintendoeverything.com/wp-content/uploads/zelda-art-1.jpg[/t]
to be fair it's been, what, two years since then? that's plenty of time to change things
My god, has it already been two years since then?
those giant swords all over the land are probably landmarks/radio towers/probes/obligatory open world landmark for fast travel rockclimbing seems cool at least. hopefully monolith soft's influence makes the world feel alive.
So dungeons have puzzles like chip's challenge 2?
I am so proud that other people will finally be able to get that joke after seventeen years.
Kirby: Planet Robobot end spoiler: [sp]Wow, it did not disappoint and I didn't expect to see Nova again, but they just went full Gurren Lagann (which is an awesome show). Now to play Meta Nightmare Returns.[/sp]
Nintendo just posted a high-res version of the leaked artwork on Facebook. [t]http://nintendoeverything.com/wp-content/uploads/zelda-art-1.jpg[/t]
This is some gorgeous artwork! I love all the vibrant colors. This is will be the next Wind Waker in terms of visuals. So much eye candy, I might get ocular diabetes. I cannot wait for Tuesday. I'll definitely have a hard time sleeping Monday night.
The Kirby series always does a good job with returning bosses and enemies. Unlike Mario where it feels like a shoe-in because "lmao remember Mario 3/World? Well here's that again! And again!" It turns throwbacks into staples and that makes it less magical.
Well to be fair, for the longest people complained about the fact that the Koopalings barely appeared in anything between 1995 and about 2010 besides a throwback series of fights in Superstar Saga and a tiny easter egg cameo in Super Mario Sunshine. Boom-Boom is super-forced, though and the Reznors could have been executed a bit more interestingly in NSMB2. If they're going to continue bringing the Koopalings back though, it'd be nice if they took a page of the book out of Super Mario Galaxy and Yoshi's Safari and made them wacky mecha riders, at least for some 3D game fights if they add them to a 3D game.
Is it weird that I can't really bring myself to play any Kirby game after Kirby's Adventure? And I love Kirby's Adventure. It's just that a lot of that love comes from the music and graphical style that was kind of specific to that late-NES era. The presentation of every Kirby game since then has just kind of bored me, I guess? I know if they made another one in the same style as Kirby's Adventure I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but that'll never happen. [editline]13th June 2016[/editline] I'm not saying the newer games are bad or anything, but I just can't get myself to want to play them
I think it's kinda odd but won't really talk down to you about it. Really should give em a try at the least though- the games are super charming and it's style is well preserved in the move to 3D. Only game I think it kinda ugly these days is 64. 64 had super interesting settings in some places, but boy did all the creature designs take a massive hit.
Nintendo really needs to make another Kirby game with Kirby 64's Copy Ability Mechanic.
