Yeeaah, highly doubt it. Malladus and Bellum are their own, unique entities, I'm pretty sure, along with Vaati. Plus, Bellum doesn't attack Hyrule, he attacks the Waters of the Ocean King, a world separate from Hyrule (debatably a Terminia scenario), and Malladus attacked New Hyrule. That's being a bit pickier, though, since obviously Demise's curse can just target wherever the Hyurle royal family is settled, and it doesn't have to be a certain section of the world "Hyrule." Still, Malladus has his own background and build up.
I see where you are coming from with Bellum, and by extension, Majora/Skull Kid, but I think the rest are most likely related. Ganon has had something to do with Yuga, Vaati, Zant, Onox, Veran, maybe some others, I don't remember each Antagonist.
And besides, it's never stated he becomes Ganon, it just says he will be Reincarnated.
"My hate... never perishes. It is born anew in a cycle with no end!"
"I will rise again!"
"Those like you... Those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero... They are eternally bound to this curse."
""An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time!"
Also the curse follows the blood and spirit of the Goddess and Hero, not the land, so New Hyrule makes sense.
And So what if Malladus still has his own background? So does Vaati, so does Zant, they both have build up too.
Just because other villains attack Hyrule doesn't mean it's Demise's curse at work. They have their own motives, while Demise's curse can at least grant Ganondorf the power of the gods he needs.
Another good point but from the previous games, most of the Antagonists are related in some way to Ganon, who is pulling the strings.
Nintendo not actually giving a fuck about continuity aside, I chalk it up to Ganondorf's power in OoT versus Wind Waker. He was a lot more powerful in OoT than in Wind Waker, where he's already gone through that battle, has been banished, broke out, fought, drowned, and then stayed in hiding for ages.
So you think, just because of old age, Ganondorf is weaker in Wind waker?
It's implied that the flood happened thousands of years before the events of Wind Waker, and that Ganondorf is the same Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time. I highly doubt old age would make him weak.
I honestly don't see how Ganondorf would be weak in Wind Waker, he was quite powerful, On par with Ocarina of Time.
It is never implied that he is weaker than before.
Calling the demon form his "true form" is also iffy, since his backstory has him born as a regular Gerudo in the Gerudo desert, and its the power of the Triforce that grants him his powers, which you can shove his transformation under. Like how he flashes his Triforce in OoT to transform.
It's not iffy, it's his actual form. He has been Ganon more times than Ganondorf. Ganondorf has only appeared in 3 games, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
He may have been born a Gerudo, but the Triforce turns him into Ganon.
I obviously take Zelda lore way too seriously :v:
I do too.

Oh boy here we go...
I want a stealth/action game with Zelda as Sheik.
I really doubt it because Link isn't wearing the brown sleeves.
In fact, if you noticed the beta pics of wind waker, Link also had brown sleeves meaning Wind Waker was originally take place after Link's Awakening but at one point decided to make another timeline split, so they changed the sleeves to light green to keep the timeline consistency.
I never noticed that Timeline had nothing but brown sleeves.

It has to take place in some timeline with WW, because you see Aldo the Karok at one point. The bird people are debatable since they're more birdlike than humans with beaks of the Rito tribe.
Because he had the power of the gods granted to him. He had the Triforce of Power. At the end of TP, though, he loses what kept him alive, and died.
[editline]2nd December 2016[/editline]
Iteration of Ganon? It's pretty much accepted, irrc, that every Ganondorf you see is just "Ganondorf." The Ganondorf, all the same person/creature. He's revived a few times, or comes out of being sealed a few times, but doesn't die, and then become reincarnated.
Unless you meant "Ganondorf in which game," then nvm
He's actually been reincarnated once.
But I meant which game.
GameXplain just deleted the video. :v:
Holy shit that was fast.
What was the video about?
What was the video about?
There was a female figure that was speculated to be Zelda or a female Link.
From YatchClub themselves:
You'll not only play through Specter Knight's own story, but also see new areas, new music, new enemies, new objects, new boss fights, new weapons, new armors, and way, way more than ever before. Even the villainous boss knights have prepared new tricks and tactics!
While Plague of Shadows followed an alternate parallel campaign, Specter Knight travels a new path in this amazing prequel. It's your mission as Specter Knight to recruit the Order of No Quarter for The Enchantress! Specter Knight's campaign truly is his own adventure, and we can't wait for everyone to get their hands on it this Spring.
So Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment is going to be the prequel for Shovel Knight.
So Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment is going to be the prequel for Shovel Knight.
I'm glad they went this route. As much as I loved Plague Knight's campaign I feel like if they kept making it the same levels it would have started to get a bit stale, even with different gameplay mechanics.
So pumped for Specter Knight's campaign. Plague Knight's was great, just like the base game, and this seems like they're pulling out all the stops.
I absolutely can't wait for BotW. Even more impressed they brought back a more Watarara-like race.
Shovel Knight's new campaign too though I hope Specter Knight is easier to control than Plague Knight.

I'm really excited for BotW because Nintendo is super confident in it with all their super long unedited gameplay and playable floor demos.

And on the Wii U of all things. Seems to run really well, too.
It's clear they put a damn lot of effort into it.
The music to this game is going to be amazing.
It's shaping up the be the best soundtrack in the series so far.

I wouldn't say REALLY well. It runs on the Wii U.
What is fascinating is the tech that they make the Wii U run.
It's quite technical talk but it's interesting what Nintendo is trying to make the Wii U do.

If they make it run at a constant 30fps on the Wii U, I will applaud them. It will be optimization at it's finest on old hardware. Not an easy task.
I'm just afraid they optimize it for Wii U then downgrade it and use the full-optimized version for the Switch so it runs even better.

Well I'd still say it runs well considering all the models, moving NPCs and foliage on the screen even though this isn't the final fully optimized version. The Wii U could also run Xenoblade Chronicles X at a mostly stable 30fps, which is a game I'd consider to be much more taxing on the system.
And if the Switch is supposed to be able to run Skyrim, I'll be pretty confident in the Switch version of BotW. Though the Skyrim port isn't really confirmed yet for whatever reason, so we'll see about that.
Now we just have to know what the CPU for the Switch is capable of, and how everything impacts battery life. I would love to have a powerful beasty handheld, but it sounds a little too optimistic with the current tech.
The Nvidia Shield gets maybe 4 hours of low-intensity gameplay on a full battery, so don't expect much.
I'm going to be me but trailer aside I thought the actual gameplay segment of BotW last night was god awful and dull. Maybe they should of just shown switch footage instead of a heavily edited not-lp but the game looked bad.
The combat looked really slow, the commentary made it feel artificial, and there was this kinda sick green fog that washed out all the color making it look like a really gross and muddy mess- and the entire time it ran really really poorly with framerate issues out the ass.
I genuinely think they should of brought out the Switch version assuming it's any better and showed that because the fact shovel knight got me more hyped then BotW is kind of embarrassing.
(Note: This isn't me saying that I think the game will be bad, just that what they showed wasn't really good or interesting)
[t]http://i.imgur.com/mGAfOSJ.png[/t]
Some of the faces in the video were so soulless.
At least glad they keep saying it'll be out in 2017 though, the game looks very much like a new imagining of Zelda with Skyrim gameplay which is pretty neat.
On the other hand, i see as much negative comments saying that because it's Skyrim-like, it will be a very boring game.
Which hopefully will not be completely the case.
They're just looking for an excuse to complain. I just hope the rumors that it's going to be delayed until Summer is not true.

I think the combat was slow as a fault of players not acting fast enough, being either player incompetency ("I'm classically trained" :v:) or the whole gotta show the game off I mean remember people thought the DOOM demo was slow?. That and they kept cutting every 5 seconds or so to show the guys talking then to change scenes which Imo is bad presentation.
The green fog is suppose to imitate a hot jungle area you can even see for a brief second that links temperature is up and why he's wearing the red tunic (my guess at least), it's going for a stuffy humid look. The frame rate was pretty bad though I agree.
Oh there might be reasons for it, I just didn't think it made the game look nice. To be it looked like someone smeared egg yolks on the screen while Link slowly lumbered around and just ech they could of handled it better.
That's why I'm saying it's not like I lost faith in the game or anything, just that I think that showing itself was pretty bad

Xenoblade is another beast entirely but it only ran the way it did because of massive shortcuts, such as massive pop-ins. And even then, it's the only game that makes my Wii U make so much noise from the disc skipping and loading. It is however extremely stable and I rarely experienced slowdowns outside of maybe a few busy screens with Overdrive activated. But I have cheesed the game so many times because it hadn't loaded the monsters yet so I would fly really high, unload them, drop fast, plant the probe in the dangerous area and skedaddle out of there.
It pushed the console more then most games when it came out and I still think it's one of the most demanding games in terms of resources. It will however be outclassed by what BotW is trying to pull off. Real time reflections, dynamic looking shadows, wind calculation, harsh weather changing the environment, complex and interactive AI, physics and maybe more. Since I started understanding how games work, I started appreciating good optimization work. I really hope the devs manage to make it run smoothly on the console. Something close to Smash 4 but with 30fps.

Oh that's fine everyone has their own taste I mean I'm biased for jungles so yeah. Honestly I agree though the showing was bad especially so from the cuts you never really got to absorb the place they wanted rk show off

Goddamn did Link get his shit wrecked from that attack

Enemies in BotW seem more terrifying then ever. I know Lizalfos could jump over Young Link in OoT but that some distance!
Also, 30th anniversary Zelda Amiibo functions:
It drops gold-rimmed chest with loot alongside meat, barrels, fish or flowers. From the sky.
I'm not kidding.
