They run on AAA battery.
The fact that it only runs on batteries and not the mains is what I don't like. Should've been more clear.
I prefer it with battery, so it doesn't take a outlet for each. Even better if you have rechargable AAA batteries.

Man Miyamoto is looking really good for a 64 year old
I wonder if, assuming there's no other Zelda game by the time the next SSB comes out, Link's default costume will be the blue outfit, or whatever BOTW's version of the classic tunic is.

Looks a bit whitewashed too.
Damn Photoshoppers!

Yes, it will be the Blue Tunic. I'll throw my bets the next Zelda after BOTW is going to be on the 3DS. It's going to be a while if the rumours are true that were getting Smash Wii U for the Switch AND Melee.
To be honest, if there's a new non-port Smash Bros, Sakurai has retired from the series or so he says, so i'd hope that whoever handles it next revitalizes the series rather than just make yet another sequel with more characters and tweaks ontop. 4 was okay but really lacked the oomph its predecessors had.
4 was better than Brawl at least. But still, I'd really love to see them give full 3D a try, similar to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven or one of those Naruto fighting games. At least that way it wouldn't feel like most of the content is just recycled from previous games.
One letdown was that there was potential to represent more franchises as stages. maybe not so much for Pac-Man or Ryu, but Mega Man and Sonic could have had something. you don't just draw back from a lack of Adventure Mode because a Story Mode filled its' place. branched paths and possibly character-exclusive minimatches/boss fights would be pretty unique compared to Melee. i dare say playable bosses but defanged just to make them balanced for regular play.
The Mii Fighters stage could be a mishmash gauntlet composing of several Find Mii/StreetPass Quest stages. Kid Icarus Uprising has probably expanded the amount of stuff they could use, even a Zelda/Fire Emblem stage that isn't a Sewer/Castle could be neat.
It's like...
• Battle Gauntlet, pull a character around and pick the smaller fights.
• "Adventure", but with shifting hardness if you want to go risky, oh and getting a gameover shifts the difficulty down without asking.
• All-Star mode
Equipment was just superficial and didn't solve getting repeat Mii Costumes. stats should be homogenized with no variance, with the only differences being that characters that match the series benefits from increased effects. whilst some characters has inherent infinity with equipment-class items. a Ness with a spawned Baseball bat should logically hit further, Wario with a bomb has a higher radius, Samus with a Screw Attack does another jump. probably would make Pit a little too versitile due to stone sword/gust bellows/drill. probably would make lesser tiered characters quirky however. equipment that slows a character down is based on the properties/"weight" of the item itself, Bowser with armoring should have less slowness added compared to Sonic who is a pretty light weight.
I just don't know what was offputting about Smash. maybe it felt a bit sterile in presetation. i mean they pushed all the multiplayer stuff to the front and the single player stuff behind 2 or so menus.
Smash 4 felt sterile because it not only is actually a heavily modified Brawl (whereas 64 and Melee are separate from each other and separate from Brawl), but recycled voice clips heavily from that game as well as animations and gameplay properties, and then despite that, left the game with a barebones single-player that abandoned easy-to-create fan favorites like Break the Targets in favor of nonsense most people do not touch like Smash Tour, which inexplicably is toted as more important than the options menu because the menu is such a mess.
To stack onto this, a lot of the music remix choices for returning series were literally based on the exact same songs remixed in Brawl, to the point where a ton of them have to have a "Ver. 2" moniker at the end just to indicate this. Considering the massive jump in songs from Melee to Brawl, this makes the transition of OSTs from Brawl to Smash 4 far less overwhelming when it comes to specifically the returning series. (i.e. the Mega Man series got some excellent and fresh new remixes, but of course Capcom wasn't in Brawl so that's natural).
Sakurai has stated multiple times he hates making sequals, and honestly to me Smash 4 feels like he is exhaustedly directing a game he didn't want to make at all, which would explain some decisions that are important to gameplay, yet feel like an entire afterthought. It just doesn't seem like he enjoys working on the IP at all anymore and it'd probably be for the best if someone new directed it and he moved onto something else.
Being able to control bosses using the Wii U gamepad would've been a great console specific feature; show the game in action on the gamepad but have areas you can touch to trigger the boss moving or attacking. Instead, you can't do anything with bosses. I can't believe there's a "Boss Battle" voice clip used exclusively for fucking Smash Tour. Even Brawl had a Boss Rush.
Also, StreetSmash on 3DS. I would've thought a "Fighting Mii Team" fight against people's Miis (And possibly their selected 'favorite' character) would've been an obvious choice for streetpass functionality but instead we get Kirby's Air Tops.
The most amazing thing about Smash is that it can disappoint even years after you play it. Literally infinite potential that will never be tapped. The idea of Smash is bigger than Smash itself.
I'm pretty happy with Smash 4. It's got Ryu and Bayonetta so I'm golden on the character selection.
I had the biggest fun out of any Smash game with Smash 4. I think Sakurai really outdid himself with the game. There is sooooo much content to the game. Yeah, ok the SP is lackluster, but I don't care about that. I just love playing online on my Wii U and on the go on my 3DS. It's too much of a fun and well-crafted game to view it too negatively.
The DLC for the most part was good too, but way too expensive.

It seems that these are pretty much confirmed now thanks to the Switch Debut.

How? Well one page shows a USB-C power cord.
I mean I already believed them but there was that slim chance they were inaccurate.
(Carrying case could still be inaccurate though)

Not to completely Yoko Ono her, but Sakurai's wife has been designing the menus since Kirby's Air Ride (i.e. after Melee). Her style works for Meteos and Kirby's Air Ride, but not for something with a crazy amount of options like Smash Bros. EDIT: Actually, that's wrong, because Brawl got it completely right and it's just Sm4sh that messed it up. How?
I really like the basic Smash 4 gameplay and the characters it has and the competitive scene, but there's definitely something missing in the single-player experience. Like, for Melee and even Brawl I could just dive in there as a kid and have endless interesting content to play through, while Smash 4 has... events, and Classic. Master/Crazy Orders is kind of fun too, but not on the level of something like Break the Targets or Adventure.
I don't think the number of options is the problem, it's the fact that the menu design is baffling, seemingly random, and constantly counter-intuitive.

And for fuck's sake why can't you use the touch screen?

...And I agree with RelaxAlax's point of views as well.
I was looking at my old Majora's Mask manga i bought in 2008, my favorite Zelda manga of the bunch and...

Goodnight sweet prince...
Oh well, it's probably because i've read it tons of times, it was absolutely my favorite even if the last arcs were a bit rushed (the Ikana Canyon part is a letdown)
I found it too rushed to be particularly enjoyable myself. That's the problem with most of the Zelda manga, they just don't have enough time to be faithful or properly explore the games and take advantage of the manga format. The Oracle adaptations fare the best because they abandon all but the barest threads of the plot and do their own thing, but the Link to the Past manga practically boots Link out of the manga to spend most of its time focusing on the author's OC.
I'm still annoyed that the best Zelda manga, the Link's Awakening adaptation, which has two whole volumes to itself to develop everything, isn't licensed.

I believe the problem with these mangas is that Ocarina Of Time should be a 4 part manga instead of 2 part, and Majora should be a 2 part, so yeah they'd require double the pages not to feel rushed.
About the other mangas, idk, i've read them all but i didn't enjoy them as much, and yeah the A Link To The Past manga is BS, probably the worst one
Speaking of manga adaptations, Twilight Princess' manga is... pretty violent in some places I heard.
Like[sp]Link loosing an arm when the Bokoblins first attack Ordon and the first wolf transformation being painful looking[/sp]
Also, you're forgetting about the Four Swords manga which is pretty straight forward (there isn't much story in FS Adventures but the authors doesn't deviate much aside from giving Link a father), gives each Link a distinct personality and gives each a slight mini development arc to show their strength and weaknesses that culminates into them ending working together. It's a nice adaptation with also two volumes and an extra bonus chapter of shenanigans [sp]such as the Four Sword not unifying the Links after being put back in the pedestal[/sp].
Not to mention, OoT also has two original stories in it, being Young Link and the Skull Kid and Adult Link helping bird people. And MM had that weird interpretation of Majora in the final chapter and the first chapter (tho the reason behind that one is due to Akira having started working on the manga before the game was out so they had to kill time until it was released). Just to show you how much freedom the author had with the stories to the point where they could write in characters that weren't in-game.

Honestly, part of me likes Smash 4 a bit better than Melee in terms of a balance perspective and watching matches on streams.
Melee is fast and fun and all, but when most matches are just comprised of the same handful of characters, with most opting for Fox or Falco, it just gets boring to watch.
Smash 4 isn't perfectly balanced by any means, but just the fact that we've seen a much more varied roster of fighters on display in most matches makes it more interesting to me.
Melee is the more developed game, so often you don't watch for the gameplay specifically any more, but for the stories behind the players and the rivalries and all that compounding in that gameplay rather than anything else. Which is great! Being so established and having such a solidified presence brings its own problems but it's a game that guarantees tense matches.
Smash 4 is very much still developing and is arguably the best balanced game in the series (disregarding PM) and seeing it grow has been a real fun experience. Compare matches now to matches a few months after the game came out, and it's world of difference.

Here's hoping if the Switch ports comes with more fixes.

Ok, now I want to read the Twilight Princess one already.
My 3DS touch screen is fucked. If I try to write/draw something on the right side of the screen, the line curves. Is there a way to fix it, or do I have to send it in?
"I don't like this game so I'm pretty sure the guy behind the game hates it too." is projecting pretty hard by the way.
I get the impression Sakurai is really happy with how 4 came out and anything else is kind of projecting.
