Calling it, it'll be another Kirby game, except this one is both for the Switch and the 3DS. it'll explicitly mentions that the Switch will be able to scan Amiibo. the game will come out with a 25th anniversary Amiibo series. this game will probably have some sort of foreground/background 2D-twisting of some kind. Maybe Scanning the 8bit Kirby will allow him to use the Pixel ability outside of liquid space.
You could probably play as Kirby, Meta Knight, Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee. Liquid space-based stages would just have them temporarily fused together for some degree of puzzles.
Final Boss will probably be Liquid Zero (second form being Crystal Core Zero), and his Ultra Form is Liquid Soul. (except as a 3D being.) probably uses some shapeshifting pixel of some kind to damage Kirby, but you run up to them to use them to dodge full screen KO attacks.
They will play up the Pixel qualities as if they're adorable mascots, Qbby will probably be shoehorned into the Kirby series, like Lolo(lo and Lala(la). his doppelganger would probably be called Cuboy. maybe either as a complimentery boss to the 2, or as a surprise character to scan with his amiibo once Goodbye! BoxBoy! comes out.
You know most people just guess what a power is going to be or if the final boss is a returning character or not. Talk about going the whole 9 yards in random speculation :v:
the latest Kirby games seem to take some aspect and run with it to justify gameplay changes. Mass Attack had 10 Kirbies, Triple Deluxe had power seeds which was even utilized for the final boss. Planet Robobot had the Robobot Armor which essentially were used for modifying abilities, gameplay styles (mainly Jet) or for larger puzzles, again, used for the final boss.
The idea of a temporary reality warp doesn't seem that extreme when Drawcia/Dark Crafter/Yin-Yarn has already done that.
Think somewhere i did call correctly that [sp]NOVA would return (though not that it's a different one) and that the Robobot armor would fuse with the Halberd just in time for the final boss[/sp] in Robobot though. probably had a few months before the Japanese game leaked though.
Pikmin 2 is no good. So boring with no limits. It was too easy
Kirby's 25th Birthday is this coming year and the waddle dee's at Cappy's Broadcast Station are waiting for a big announcement :o

They already did a game collection for his 20th birthday so I hope it's not another one of those. I could accept a Kirby Handheld Trilogy on Switch, with HD ports of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot alongside a new game.
Or Kirby Air Ride 2. That'd be nice.
Please Air Ride 2. Please.
Also is Robobot good?

The end game caves were absolutely brutal, and perfecting challenges in Challenge Mode also got hard

It's awesome
Universal Studios Japan just put out concept art and a press statement for Super Nintendo World:

A lot of people are going gaga over this but I honestly can't say I'm super pleased.
I was sort of hoping that since it was Nintendo themed, it'd actually have areas from different Nintendo games. Not just 99.5% Mario with 00.5% other Nintendo characters shoehorned into the area.
I'd totally compromise for smaller areas for each game if we could get like, a whole Zelda section, a Metroid section, etc.

What did you expect? Mario is the most recognizable by a landslide compared to even Zelda/Pokemon.
Idk, I saw this happening in the first place.

Nintendo practically denies Metroid exists at this point, so yeah that wouldn't happen.
I'm surprised they didn't call it Nintendo Land, but I guess since it's gonna' be pretty much 99% Mario it would make sense to call it something else.
I like how people are acting like this is the only thing they're putting in

Robobot is probably the best game in the entire franchise. Make of that what you will.

Im just saying, Metroid lazer tag would be the shit.
Im just saying, Metroid lazer tag would be the shit.
Metroid lazer tag with AR visors to scan things with for boosts
Metroid Lazer Tag where you have to scan everything, even other players to get the good ending
Metroid lazer tag with AR visors to scan things with for boosts
What if at the end of each match everyone got together and took down Mother Brain or Ridley with the AR? Damnit i want it now
What if at the end of each match everyone got together and took down Mother Brain or Ridley with the AR? Damnit i want it now
What if at the end of the match a timer started and the building would explode after a couple minutes
Pikmin 2 is no good. So boring with no limits. It was too easy
Lol alright dude. The after-story caves are fucking insane and as someone who hates losing Pikmin it was absolute torture.
Im just saying, Metroid lazer tag would be the shit.
Star Fox laser tag, but they also give you a button on your hip to activate a light that causes a blip sound.
Suddenly full of people trying to waveshine and SHFFL.
What if at the end of each match everyone got together and took down Mother Brain or Ridley with the AR? Damnit i want it now
ridley's too big for the lazer tag dome
might be an unpopular opinion but the caves in pikmin 2 really outstayed their welcome. some of them had some interesting gimmicks or enemies but they got tedious by the end.
and i missed the time limit from pikmin 1. i'm replaying that game right now for the first time in a few years, and even though i remember a lot and i've been having an easy time, the time limit still makes me feel like every decision is important.

I know they did a 20th Anniversary Collection on the Wii, but I'm up for another collection with some other kirby games like Air Ride.
The 25th anniversary twitter updated. mostly a blurry picture, you can kinda make out Nightmare, Kirby riding the warpstar air ride/anime style and Meta Knight wielding Galaxia. unsure if they even given Meta Knight Galaxia before Amazing Mirror, yet seemingly got into Super Star Deluxe. it could be argued that he wanted to fight fair against Kirby but only uses his sword when the plot demands, otherwise he's probably kept in check to prevent being OP in the few games where he's playable right off the bat.

So... maybe a 25th Anniv. Collection?
Still seem a bit too soon, when the 20th came out, there wasn't even a VC for GB/GBC games at the time. just feels like if they do it now, they couldn't do it due to the marketability of digital stuff. Animal Crossing went the same way with time until New Leaf added ingame 3DSes/Wii U's.
Don't even think it got released over here in the UK. having the game as a VC title would make sense if there was at least some NNID collective discount, but the Anime episodes probably would make copywrite problematic unless HAL/Nintendo owns absolutely everything about it.
Probably would fringe it on either compressed adaptions, or even in-universe reasoning why there would be Nightmare. probably be interesting to see how he'd balance up with newer traditions like having super bosses and a boss rush mode. not entirely sure, but i think Marx might be on the right..
it's pickashu
I would love a re-release of Kirby Super Star Ultra on the 3DS or something. I have lots of fond memories playing though that game.
