That's what I do and it works fine. You just need a Y-shaped USB splitter (I use [URL="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005M0ICG2"]this one[/URL] with [URL="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H4XH5FY"]this HDD[/URL]) to split the HDD's power draw between both ports. The Wii U will pick up the HDD on just one of them and read/write to it normally. You can also still use an ethernet adapter if you chain another splitter like [URL="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A81ISJ6"]this one[/URL], since the ethernet adapter is low-powered enough to stay under the USB ports' capacity. It's kind of a tight fit putting them both on the back like that, so you can also use the front ports if you want. I just prefer them on the back so I can use the front ports for the GCN adapter.

Oh that's nice of them. Hopefully, nothing too spoilery outside of generic landscapes or stuff already shown. And I love the colors! Everything is so vibrant in that game.

So this was posted but I can't find the original upload. It's not on FB or their YT channel. Probably was uploaded to another channel. It is new snowboarding footage tho! And you can see that the animations either aren't done/polished or they aren't made for rounder, smaller shields. But hey, tricks!
