weird of them to patent stuff this late but it could be either legal tieups or trying to avoid leaks before it was announced then there was that leak where it said that the switch was overclocked when plugged in, which is present here (though I think a lot of people were guessing that)
So it appears linking your facebook account crashes Super Mario Run.
http://letsplayvideogames.com/2016/12/switch-patents-seemingly-confirm-a-bunch-of-our-reports/ of course this doesn't prove every leak as they're from different sources commonly but this is interesting

Hey, don't make fun of Bop-It, I've wasted an embarrassingly amount of hours on that stupid thing as a kid, more than I want to admit. :v:
Super Mario run is fun but I can't get myaelf to spend $10 on it.
I really wish Nintendo didn't sign a timed exclusive with Apple. I want to play the game
I really wish Nintendo didn't sign a timed exclusive with Apple. I want to play the game
Gotta make that money. Speaking of money, NES Classic Edition Sold 196,000 Units in US Launch as Pokémon Sun and Moon Set Records. What the fuck Nintendo, 10 Millions copy at launch for Pokemon but a stupidly small amount for the NES?

It makes me wonder if it's a Nintendo of America fuck up.
In Robobot, is there a secret to the RPG minigame? I plat'd everything but there is still a mission unavailable beside the top row.
No, the [sp]EX Landia fight[/sp] should be the last of it. [editline]16th December 2016[/editline]
It's worse when you realize that Japan has their versions stocked way, way more efficiently than we got. I manage to get a Famicom Mini for like $25 more than the normal price to import it (worth it since I lived in Japan), but was easily able to get it.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/WwtPMx7.png[/T] It's just one of those days
Nah it's the same thing with Nintendo of Europe, it's way understocked.
That's because we live in NORTH Europe, which is arctic as far as companies are concerned.
Why the fuck would Mario Run have Jailbreak protection smh [sp]tsProtector for anyone else who is Jailbroken[/sp]
Pretty funny, but they didn't do jailbreak detection instructions for iOS 8, so I'm running the game just fine

I went to the local supermarket to buy Christmas gifts today. To my surprise they had a bunch of NES Classics on a shelf, just sitting there. I didn't expect to be able to get one before next year as they are sold out everywhere.
So a lot of Japanese retailers are suddenly saying they aren't taking pre-orders for the Breath of the Wild on the Wii-U anymore. Popular word going around Japanese message boards is it being canned on the Wii-U and becoming Switch Exclusive so don't be too surprised if we all end up hearing something similar which... honestly would and wouldn't surprise me at the same time
So basically, expect the Yooka Laylee situation, only with 100x more people whining. I say go for it honestly. Just acknowledge the Wii U's death already. Push it aside, and get people to want to buy the Switch. An exclusive new Zelda title that's been hyped for over 3 years will definitely do that. Of course, if for some reason people can't get refunds from their pre-orders, then Nintendo is going to have a lot of angry people to deal with.
I dunno. The game was billed as Zelda U for the longest time due to the development cycle being intended for the Wii U in the first place, before the Switch came into play. Dropping everything off the Wii U just because it's stopped production in Japan and because the console isn't considered profitable anymore would be a colossal rage against Nintendo, and an entire console generation devoid of a mainline Zelda title.

That's a bit odd though. Might confirm that it's just being delayed, rather than the Wii U port being cancelled altogether.
Yeah, I'm not sure where I fall on it personally. As it stands it's just a rumor going around overseas at this point so I wouldn't take it as fact either way.

If I recall also, Zelda is not that popular in Japan compare to the West. So I can see it getting canned for Japan's Wii U. It's going to be a disaster on January 12 if they open up pre-orders.
I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the Wii U version simply because the framerate looked borderline unplayable on that system.
I agree, but that hasn't stopped games before
This, Ocarina of Time was like 20 fps on the Nintendo 64 and nobody complained
This, Ocarina of Time was like 20 fps on the Nintendo 64 and nobody complained
To be fair, nothing was much higher back then.
This, Ocarina of Time was like 20 fps on the Nintendo 64 and nobody complained
16/17 iirc. Though there are new standards today. And once you're used to higher framerates, it can be rather disorientating to play something much lower. There's not really much of an excuse for a poor framerate, though 30fps isn't that awful as long as it's relatively stable.
I still don't understand why HW legends even came out on the regular 3ds, it is almost unplayable
