My roommate just bought a New 3DS XL, and I am planning on picking mine up tomorrow. Fond memories of diamond and platinum. That and all the other games on offer for the 3DS make it a no brainer. And the backwards compatibility... I'll have to dig for all of my old games now, and some of those may be long gone. Damn it.
Yokai Watch 2 is coming to the US on September 30th. The names for the two versions? YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls I'm pretty excited, the first game was a lot of fun and I hear the second one improves on it in literally every way.
Seems like we are getting Nintendo Movies.
So long as they're animation and not live action, I will look forward to them.
So long as they're animation and not live action, I will look forward to them.
The original interview says that the Super Mario Bros Movie is precisely not what they want, which is why they'll all be animated.
Seems like we are getting Nintendo Movies.
As it sits right now in terms of films based on video game franchises, the highest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes is the recent Angry Birds film, with 63%. All other films fall from there. [t]http://i.imgur.com/xdnu20A.png[/t] I'm surprised Nintendo decided to give it a try again, and missed the pile of bodies sitting outside Hollywood's dark cave.

Pokemon Go beta sign ups have started in the US.
Oh good, we're finally getting that update for FAST Racing NEO: the Vertigo Update. It drops tomorrow.
Neither Gamestop or Target have Kirby Triple Deluxe. Come on man. I don't wanna have to pay for shipping.

Excellent game. Online's probably dead by this point as with many smaller Wii U games, but the single-player alone kept me going for at least thirty hours. For fifteen bucks? Not bad. Just know that it will kick your ass.
i was mostly going to play online :s:
Alright, Fire Emblem Fates will be released within two days at least. How do I use this 10% discount with it? I get the feeling it might fuck up. EDIT: What the eff, Nintendo. Error Code 010-2400, pathetic access points being a nuisance.
I was gonna' say "man, FAST Racing Neo looks really good on the Wii U", but then I realized these are the same guys who made Nano Assault Neo. :v:
Shin'En are wizards. They say they prefer their freedom from stuff like corporate deadlines and would never want to be outright bought by Nintendo, but if the Big N were smart, they'd still at least put those suckers under some sort of consultation contract to help with their own games and 100% ensure Shin'En stays exclusive to their hardware. That said, the latter might not be very necessary: the only time Shin'En ever made anything for non-Nintendo platforms, it was a port of Nano Assault Neo to the PS4. However, it was only really a resolution boost and was missing all the GamePad-centric stuff, and ultimately sold abysmally compared to the Wii U version, so they said they're back to Nintendo-exclusive anyway.
Now I'm angry... The requirement for an access point is such a scrap, because why not let users connect directly from the available network at home? I would've liked to spend only 90% of Fates' (Birthright) actual price of 419 SEK. Do I have too much metal on my desk?
weird things happening the past few days for a small chunk of 3DS/Wii U owners apparently. my wii u disconnected from wifi yesterday and no matter how many fixes i did and measures i took it refused to connect to the internet. a couple buddies of mine were having the same issue with their 3DS/Wii U too. just error codes for seemingly no reason.
There was maintenance yesterday, you're aware right?
Does anybody know the best way to stream wii u games? Just looking for a way to casually stream Star Fax, Pikmin, and Mario Kart for some friends.
Speaking of a state of Nintendo video, here's a state of Miyamoto video.
Could Nintendo's E3 plans be any dumber?

At least they acknowledged there were fucking games then. Zelda only? Fuck off you're killing your relationship with Atlus who, according to you, went out of their way to rerecord new Japanese dialogue of their own volition for the English release, and censored everything themselves. And you know what they get? Not even a fucking mention at E3, for a fucking game that comes out two weeks later. Or hey, want us to be interested in the shitshow that will be Sticker Star 2? Then fucking show why it is good. Or upcoming Splatoon content, or the 3DS games coming out or ANYTHING.
I think Nintendo might have lost it's sanity.
New CEO is making all the worst calls possible so that's cool
I'm actually kinda surprised there really hasn't been any coverage of the new stuff in June for Splatoon. Just the stuff that pertains to CoroCoro.
Kimishima better be living up to the expectations he was implying with the NX next March. It's a shame really, Kimishima was actually a good president for Nintendo of America and Pokemon USA, as well as having lived internationally and being a chief financial officer for the Pokemon company during the gen 2 days. Yet, a lot of the decisions post-Iwata seem highly questionable aside from the common sense of restocking a lot of the amiibos that needed it.

It's so hard being a Nintendo fan right now. 2016 is already such a shitty year for the company.
It's so hard being a Nintendo fan right now. 2016 is already such a shitty year for the company.
It's only a pretty shallow year for the Wii U to be honest (I'm having fun with Pokkén Tournament, but I agree that the amount of releases we got this year is kinda shallow for it). The 3ds is still running wild though. Can't really call it a shitty year for Nintendo when the 3ds is printing money.
