I like how Paper Mario is the one series people wouldn't mind rehashes of the original, and it's the one series Nintendo/Intelligent Systems just can't stop tampering with and ruining.

And I will admit, Shufflegate did catch me off guard, i didn't even know it was a reference to Gamergate. I thought it was a reference how you have to get past Shuffling toads to continue, kinda like a Gate.

the worst part is they made M&L the main RPG series and yet it's getting increasingly blander and padded out too. Nintendo can't do RPGs well, get intelligent systems back on board.

It's interesting that a licensed game (South park sot) does what most want out of paper mario in mechanics and overall rpg design.

I would not like losing a powerful weapon I took the time to power up. Or even make from scratch (implying that crafting gear is a thing).
