Far as I can tell the game is 30 FPS, but it does seem to have framerate drops at times.
As long as they aren't as bad as TPHD, it's something that never really bothered me much. Wind Waker had a bunch of framedrops on some fights, especially in Hyrule Castle and the Outset Trials (in the busiest floors, especially the butterflies ones) and places where there was too many particles (at sea on rainy nights while fighting a bunch of giant peahats or octorocks) but nothing close to TPHD. That remaster was really half-assed. Hyrule Castle exterior segments were painful to play through. However, I might cave in and buy the (most likely going to be announced) NX/Zelda bundle, which has high chances of happening knowing myself...
There definitely was slowdown at times, particularly when there were fancy effects right in front of the camera. I specifically remember a part in one of the livestream segments where an Ice Keese was crowding the camera and Link began to move slower.
I don't recall any fps drops in TPHD.
Anybody know where to find the good Smash mods? I only know of Gamebanana hosting Smash 4 mods but there's so much shit burying the good stuff
I don't recall any fps drops in TPHD.
There was a spot near the beginning of Hyrule Field (near the entrance to Ordon Village) where my framerate would shit itself hard if I ran under the nearby bridge at the river with Epona.
It really upsets me that Nintendo has no intentions of creating another traditional Paper Mario title. I can understand that they don't want to have two similar RPG franchises using the same characters, and I can accept a different approach in gameplay mechanics (I even liked what they did with Super Paper Mario). But that's absolutely no excuse for getting rid of the interesting character designs and story. That's what made the first 3 games really stand out - they expanded on the Mario universe rather than arbitrarily restricting themselves on what they can and cannot use. Who honestly finds an NPC cast consisting of a dozen of recolored Toad sprites fun to interact with? Do we really want Bowser to be the main villain in every game again? And is the fourth-wall breaking by having Real-Life 3D objects fall into the game world, or the gimmicky emphasis on the paper aesthetics really neccessary?
Paper Mario as a series has been pretty terrible ever since they shifted away from Thousand Year door. I don't even know why they're bothering at this point.
Super paper mario was good fun imo
I have a feeling that dungeons in the new Zelda will give you infinite durability items, just like in ALBW. You can find the items anywhere and use them anytime, but they are limited until you find the definitive dungeon version

More than likely Runes and Items alike will play their uses in dungeons, but unfortunately with only Overworld and Shrine info, the Dungeons and Towns at the biggest mysteries right now.
Super paper mario was good fun imo
The story and the writing were great, as was the norm for Paper Mario back then. The gameplay suffered though. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't nearly as fun as the first two. I give it a 6.5/10. Not bad. Like you said, good fun.

are you FUCKING kidding me.
Better than no physical copy at all. Rhythm Heaven games have a tendency of coming out in the US long after the console is easily hackable, and they're easily understandable without translation, so I'm sure most hardcore fans of the series import the Japanese version or just pirate it. I'll buy it day 1, I love Wario Ware and Rhythm Heaven so I wanna do my part to help keep the series alive.
Yeah I bought it day 1. Sorry Rhythm Heaven fans but we've been relegated to eShop status :(
I don't recall any fps drops in TPHD.
Faron Woods had it bad.
so when is nintendo's next direct? i think i remember someone saying it was in august or september. [editline]16th June 2016[/editline] apparently it's supposed to be the one where NX is revealed if all goes according to plan
Can we all take a momentand appreciate how... genuine Nintendo seems compared to the other comapnies on E3?

If this is the case then make a Mario and Luigi for the NX at least, even though it should be switched around.
If this is the case then make a Mario and Luigi for the NX at least, even though it should be switched around.
No, keep making M&L for 3DS, but expand onto Wii U and NX and move PM to mobile.
4 months...
Oh come on. I hate this "You need to wait various months, because fuck you for living somewhere else."
I hate living in this shitty doomed continent full of languages I don't even speak or understand.
Ouch, NA's been slacking so hard lately it's weird to see that Europe has to wait for once. I wouldn't be surprised if the delay is because the EU copies will have actual songs instead of Midi's like the NA one though. [editline]16th June 2016[/editline] Unrelated to Rhythm Heaven but I wouldn't mind if the music used in the Dedede fight in Robobot became his new theme. It's so fucking good I can't stop listening to it and it's a perfect evolution of it.
Mostly because they need to translate it to german, french, spanish and italian as well. This counts for both the text, voice clips and full songs. Then there's also localization processes. Ultimately, it's hard to make things sound well and make sense in other languages when you're restricted to audio cues. Especially when translating from japanese. They had to cut a minigame from Rhythm Heaven Fever in US/EU/AU because it was simply impossible to translate, as an example, which required them to make a new one in its place.
I hope some people are working on an undub patch for Rhythm Heaven Megamix. While I think quite a few of the songs are done pretty well in English, for others I just prefer the Japanese ones.

To be fair much like Tomadachi Life Miitomo loses steam like 2-3 days after it comes out and no one can be assed to really touch it again.
Super Paper Mario is out on the eShop today.
I like how they keep avoiding thousand year door. I wonder why that is
