And regarding Nintendo and third party support. Just once I wish they would make a console with power comparable to the generation they're in and offer a controller that's comparable to the other guys. They can still do weird stuff but how they offered a control pad pro was smart. As a lot of other people have said here, if Nintendo could get their third party support like they did back in the SNES era, they would dominate the market. That's why the SNES was so awesome, you had top notch Nintendo games and a bunch of really good third party games.
Just get CoD and add a Waluigi announcer sound pack on disc.
Yeah like how ubisoft was working with Nintendo and said they were gonna make exclusive games. And then dropped them like a hot rock shortly after rayman came out. Ubisoft has terrible track record and it's foolish of Nintendo to put any faith in them
At least ZombiU is still the best version. Even on PS4 and Xbone the graphics in 'Zombi' were downgraded from the Wii U, and all the other versions - including PC - actionized the gameplay too much and got rid of the multiplayer and any GamePad stuff. ZombiU - the real game - did something I rarely see any other game do, and I appreciate it for that: it wasn't afraid to make its gameplay very, very slow. You could spend an entire half-hour session just scouring one room and maybe take out five-ten zombies, but every single area and encounter required that much more thought. If you try to MLG-sp33dfr34k your way through ZombiU, you get your ass beat. It's tense, it's methodical, and it's a damn good game. It is not a run-and-gun shooter, but that's what they turned 'Zombi' into.
And regarding Nintendo and third party support. Just because you have a big touchscreen in the middle doesn't mean you don't still have ABXY, four shoulders, two clicky-sticks, start/select, and a D-pad. That's really all a traditional controller is.
It is not a run-and-gun shooter, but that's what they turned 'Zombi' into.
No they didn't. Did you even play Zombi? It's just an uglier version of the game with more button prompt and QT events.
I admit I didn't play Zombi, but from what I've read by people who played both versions, they increased the emphasis on active combat and moving quickly through locations, whereas ZombiU was more about thoroughly taking in your environment before deciding, possibly even to avoid combat.
I never played Zombi, but I enjoyed ZombiU despite its shortcomings. It's concept of changing characters with each death and your previous character appearing as zombies in other people's games was a really neat idea. And being able to leave behind messages that other players can read was also very immersive, much like Dark Souls' mechanic.
ZombiU felt a lot like the Wii U's Dark Souls, actually. I just wish more people played it, but so many people were turned off after Greg Miller's low-scoring review. I'm still convinced he did that on purpose; why the hell was IGN's Sony fanboy on the review of a Nintendo system launch game, anyway? What did they think would happen?

Y'see, I really don't think it deserves scores anywhere near that low. Hell, it's a better horror game than most of them have been lately, and I'm not even big on horror.
Kirby: Robobot Spoiler: [sp]I keep getting my ass kicked by DDD & D3 on True Arena. I was using Hammer so gonna try ESP. Oh, I notice that all of the Clone Final Bosses for Meta Nightmare Returns are Swordfighters.[/sp]

Oh, I notice that all of the Clone Final Bosses for Meta Nightmare Returns are Swordfighters.[/sp]
[sp]With Hammer, use your dash attack a bunch. Running through each D can give them big and uniform damage. You need to beat them all quickly before they have time to desync and cause mayhem. If all else fails just spam dash and make sure you're in a safe spot by the time I-frames end. And for the D3 when it's travelling on your axis use regular hits to hit it on the sides and dash attack if its travelling through the stage. All times it's not vulnerable fly up and you should be able to avoid all its attacks.[/sp]
The looser difficulty of TripleD/Robobot is messing me up, I'm so used to the unforgiving "You don't have that ability from 3 levels ago? No collectible for you!" But in these games the ability you need is just right next to the 'secret' or 'puzzle'... Not like Kirby is supposed to be hard, of course. I still love these games.
Nintendo's greatest strength is their first party games, but that's still a bit of a niche audience nowadays. Sadly there's a bit of a stigma about Nintendo having "kiddy" games that I'd have hoped would have gone away by now, but even young kids I know through friends and family think Nintendo consoles are for "babies" and have "cartoony graphics." Other than mobile games most kids I know end up getting a PS4 or Xbone because the "mature" games are there, even if they're too young to be playing those games without parental supervision. My 13 year old niece specifically asked for a PS4 so she could play Last of Us and Dead or Alive 5, so it's not just young boys who want to play more mature titles. I'm not saying ditch the Mario, Kirby, etc. but they need to have a presence with IPs aimed at an older audience, even if those games are ironically being played by a young audience. If Nintendo can't muster up third party support like it used to, then they need to make games to fill in the areas those titles would normally fill. Nintendo needs to compete with games like The Last of Us, Uncharted, Halo, Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Gear of War, etc. but still keep the traditional Mario, Kirby, etc. brands that their current fan base loves. If you look at some of the top selling titles on other systems a lot of them involve shooting, open world sandboxes, DOTA-like or RTS gameplay, mature RPGs or are officially licensed sports games, all of which Nintendo is lacking in. Other than Splatoon, Metroid Prime Trilogy and crappy ports of CoD games there's no shooter presence. Breath of the Wild looks like a great direction to take Zelda in because it's drawing in the same audience that loves Far Cry, Dark Souls or Elder Scrolls. The Game Pad would be perfect for Moba and RTS games but there's no Mobas to my knowledge and Pikmin is very loosely an RTS if you compare it to games like Starcraft, Command and Conquer, etc. RPGs are plentiful on the 3DS but very few on the Wii U, other than Xenoblade there aren't any "big" RPG games except for indies and FE# is not going to sell well at all. Other than Mario & Sonic at the Olympics there aren't any official sports games like the type EA Sports or 2K makes (two companies which basically have the entire sports market). With EA being EA it's not likely Nintendo can get that sports audience so they need to have enough games in other genres to make the purchase of their console worthwhile. Fans love the franchises Nintendo makes but they need to expand their target audience, and perhaps loan out their IPs to more trusted studios while still keeping oversight. They've gotten some good second party support but the more games they get pushed out the more reason there is to buy a Nintendo system because exclusive games are the only thing keeping Nintendo in the console market.
Is Xenoblade Chronicles X worth a look despite not having space for the content packs? The combat always just sort of looked iffy to me, a little on the MMO-ish side which I never really like.

They were even rewarded with a Rayman trophy in Smash Bros.

Almost all of their attacks will miss you if you're in the air, and since ESP's main attack keeps you stationary, you can literally jump towards the top of the screen and continuously spam it.[/sp]

I'd rather be supplied a power and asked to solve a puzzle with it.
Dropped 4 bucks on the E3 humble bundle just to play the MHX demo. Weren't they suppose to email us codes or something? Because they are taking too friggin long.
I got the codes on the same date in the evening. You might want to check your junk mail just in case your email provider hates Nintendo.
Don't forget that they don't send codes to everybody too.
I usually get the demo emails but this is first time I haven't gotten one :saddowns:

I generally don't give a fuck and just play whatever games while sitting in public transport, but while playing Rhythm Heaven Megamix, I reached the level where I have to pluck hair off a face of a onion, shit got awkward for me and I immediately switched over to Monster Hunter.

Confirmed fake and gay and I apologize I was scrolling through the Zelda tag on tumblr when i discovered this post I'm not entirely what this is, but I think that the e3 demo has been leaked?? I'm not into doing or really talking about cracking consoles, as my last ban shows, but maybe some of you pirates are interested?
