I was scrolling through the Zelda tag on tumblr when i discovered this post

I'm not entirely what this is, but I think that the e3 demo has been leaked??
I'm not into doing or really talking about cracking consoles, as my last ban shows, but maybe some of you pirates are interested?
190MBs doesn't seem right for any demo in 2016.

(pretty sure it's just the CD-i game and not the E3 demo, and that it was just a joke to grab people's attention)
I like how he says "red ocean" since typically Nintendo has been the red company while Xbox is green and Sony is blue :v

Ubisoft is apparently working "very closely" with Nintendo again. But I wonder how long they'll last this time before bailing out because they're terrible at project management and staying within scope.
I'm not having high hopes for Ubisoft, the most they're probably going to do is Just Dance 2017 and maybe an English release of Just Dance: Yokai Watch. unless Nintendo is going to make more large-scale titles like Smash Bros NX and Mario Kart 9...probably be quite amazing if Nintendo were a bro in the digital department and made old DLC work in sequels, enticing the sales of both games.
For situations where courses could be locked behind DLC, they could simply rotate out courses that were DLC-only in 8 and move them as regular tracks in new cups though each release would only release a single Mario Circuit, Bowser stage and Rainbow Road anyway. Kill off Cat Peach/Tanooki Mario in 9, replace their character slots in their original pack with Zelda and Ganondorf? Dry Bowser gets upgraded from the Animal Crossing DLC as a main character with his slot going to Tom Nook or Digby. the stages from Non-Mario games would remain with those DLC slots. (Excitebike Arena, Big Blue, Mute City, Hyrule Circuit, Animal Crossing) [sp]Kirby/Meta Knight/Dedede with Stunt Racer FX and Kirby's Air Ride stages? :P[/sp]
Smash Bros NX' DLC could use legacy DLC to slot in costumes or something so that purchasing DLC for possibly now-ondisc characters wouldn't be in vain, possibly unlocking them right off the bat instead of grinding. whilst at the same time, they could introduce new DLC for NX-only. they really should have some sort of universal pricing for fighters and DLC though, maybe it's just rights issue, but buying a few fighters shouldn't cost more than the base game itself...it's worse for the Mii Fighters since you're not allowed to use them online which greatly diminishes their use.
I'm excited for the new LoZ game, cause i actually have my first actual non-handheld current-gen console with which to play it on.
Monolith Soft is working with Nintendo on Breath of the Wild

Yeah, that makes sense. Nobody does huge, creative, and beautiful environments quite like Monolith does.
Monolith is a pretty fitting name then.
I'm really curious if it'll be possible to do challenge runs of the new Zelda because of the some of the new mechanics. Because if so... I want to do a greatswords only run.

Man, Nintendo is really going all out on this aren't they?
They don't usually get assistance when making their own games do they?
Excluding Remakes/Ports.
It's new footage that came out today.

Apparently they helped out with Skyward Sword, didn't know that.

Any new information?
No clue. Watched it on mute since I've been at a work event.

Smash 4 was co-developed with Bandai Namco. Seems to be becoming a habit of theirs now.

Monolith is owned by Nintendo in full in the first place, so I'm not sure that really counts.
I think Nintendo has a system seller.

Just shows you how well Nintendo blew everybody's mind with Breath of the Wild when 90% of the people just wants to play it.

Greatsword only?
Dude, we can do a Swordless Run like the original. What I'd also do is defeat Ganon with the first thing I ever pick up, like a tree branch. I would do everything to keep it until it gives the final blow to Ganon.
There are so many custom runs you can do, it's fantastic!
Dang, i wonder how much difficulty options they're gonna put in this game.
One of the obvious option would be the ganondorf amiibo.

Minor story details that Link does something to "change the environment," specifically with the Tower of Resurrection. It's literally that vague.

This is stupid
http://nintendoenthusiast.com/news/ceo-of-nintendo-canada-nx-news-this-fall/
Direct sometime this fall that focuses exclusively on the NX.
Guess that means we'll find out what the deal is at long last and what that means for the Wii U. Is the "third-pillar" talk just guff?
I don't think I've ever seen a major console revealed at best half a year before release, especially when the release isn't even a holiday season.
Makes sense considering they've already showed us the "low-end" version of what should be a launch title for the system.
This is stupid
You would run too, if you knew that the average wait time is 8 hours, just to play the game.
Doesn't all items that you equip break eventually though? They get damaged after being used for some time.
Yeah, but seeing how you could repair your shield in Skyward Sword, a lot of people assume you might be able to repair your weapons in BotW. It would be quite cruel if they don't let you. We might get a repair potion, an item or a NPC that will that. If it's a potion, Link might even be able to make it in the wild.
And seeing how you can find upgraded versions of weapons in chests, there will most likely be a upgrade system in which you can boost a weapon's durability or damage (which are the only two upgrades we've seen so far).
An interview with Miyamoto talking about how they're making a "new kind of mario game".
We won't see it for a year or two, but I'm interested to see if they can reinvent Mario like Breath of the Wild has for Zelda.
Perhaps something with more dungeon exploring than usual? (Something like Hazy Maze Cave but in more environments)
I just want another Mario 64 or Sunshine with no space gimmicks.

Give me 64 style with Sunshine's fluid movement physics. That game was so snappy, the other games are floatier by necessity but Sunshine feels so nice to move around in.
