They should have just made it its own game, it looks like an okay first person co-op shooter, though kinda slow and clunky (Which is to be expected given that it's on a handheld) but doesn't benefit at all from the Metroid IP being tacked on
The hell are you doing, Nintendo
What they could have done if they wanted it to be part of the Metroid universe, is that they could have made it an IP but have like elements that hint that it does take place in the Metroid universe.
Or they could have just have made it look like Metroid Prime Hunters and called it a day.
It's not like specs are the cause when the vastly inferior spec-wise DS can dish out this:

posting an image from emulation that enhanced the render resolution is pretty dumb to use for comparison
the game did still look good tho
Oh man what I'd do for a Metroid Prime Hunters 2

It's mostly to show the detail of everything else.

Still, it's like the opposite when somebody tries to say a game's graphics look like shit and they post a blurry ass youtube screenshot
Anyway, can Nintendo show the goddamn NX already? I'm currently stashing money now and I don't even know if i'll even buy it because I have no idea what it is so I can't be hyped

I'm aware that it was emulated, even still, those are the regular textures and something comparable and even more complex, visually, could be done on the 3DS, regardless (albeit at a moderately lower resolution), which was my point.
The second image is native DS resolution, anyway.
Fed Force seems like something you release alongside a main series Metroid title for the console, sort of like that Star Fox Guard was along with SFZ. We haven't had a Metroid game in 6 years and a Metroid game people actually liked in 9. Believing this to be what fans want is almost as idiotic as locking a costume skin of the main fucking protagonist of the series behind an Amiibo you have to buy separately.
remember when they released metroid prime and fusion at the same time in america (and were revealed together at the same time as well)
god damn
Real talk - and I know I say this every time it's brought up - MPT is my favorite game of all time and I'm still looking forward to Federation Force.

wiiu version is irrelevant
everyone will be getting an nx
I'm getting it for both sooooo
won't the nx be out by the time zelda is though?
presumably.
the release year is confirmed, the release month is semi-confirmed and could change, the exact dates are unknown.
So instead of playing all those new 3ds and wii u games I bought back in February I've been replaying a bunch of gc and wii u games. So far I beat the metroid prime trilogy, no more heroes 1 and 2 and super paper mario. All of which I've only played through once back when they came out.
The prime games are still fantastic, especially 1 and 3. I probably like them equally as much. 2 is still good but it drag a bit too much and your progress doesn't feel as fluid compared to the first game at least. You kinda have to guess where to go and what to do a lot of the time.
As for nmh 1 and 2. 1 aged like shit as far as graphics go but that's no surprise. Everything you do that's not fighting feels clunky, especially driving the bike around the city (which is pointless as he'll and drags the game out so much). Still and alright game tho.
Nmh2 improved on pretty much everything. No more padding with the empty as hell city and way better controls for pretty much everything. Some of the bosses are really forgettable compared to the first game tho. Very good still.
Super paper mario was about as good as I remember. While Ttyd is a much better game this is still fun for what it is. Pretty straight forward platformer with a neat gimmick. It doesn't drag out at all with loads of dialogic between and during chapters most of the time which is really refreshing too.

The guy who's making it is the Metroid Prime lead, that's why he wanted to make it based in that universe. Doesn't explain why this is the first game in years (other than nintendo's lack of confidence in the Metroid series)
I've got a rather hurtful question about Xenoblade Chronicles, why not get the Wii or Wii U version rather than the 3DS one? It's clear this game wasn't made for the normal model so... [SP]Truth is you can always try playing from a burnt disc with the ISO in it.[/SP]

The N3DS version has some slightly streamlined controls for more efficiency, but otherwise it has a Jukebox and a Model Viewer, which you still have to unlock shit on manually via in-game tokens (that a Shulk amiibo speeds up the progression of earning). Essentially if you somehow manage to find a Wii copy or figure to spring for the Wii U Virtual Console version, there's.. no real point in getting it on the N3DS unless you feel you'd want to play it on a handheld rather than the console.

As Rikoh said, basically you only go 3DS if you want to be mobile. But if you really want to do the fantastic environments justice, you'd be playing in a resolution much greater than the 3DS or Wii can offer.
I imagine people are staying clear of it anyway, but apparently Mighty No 9 has the potential to brick Wii Us and the DLC breaks the game.

Calling that game a mess would be an understatement.

this doesn't mean it isn't a steaming pile though
I regret backing it.
I regret backing it.
Same
I backed Yooka-Laylee, Bloodstained, and Strafe, though, so I paid my dues.

Backed Indivisible but I dunno if it will be enough to cleanse what I have done.
You win some and you lose some, but in this case you really lose if you backed MN9.
