Definitely a life lesson. A costly, harsh one but I can learn from it.
Getting a WiiU soon, wanted one since release and soin I'll be able to actually afford one.
I remember scrambling around to get some money together to back MN9 but ended up not doing it for one reason or another. "Man this sucks I wanted to help." I thought Pheeew
hey at least you got a game out of it, you could be like me and backed Yogventures
Oh boy, I was one of MN9 backers too, but hey, Kickstarters are like gambling: "If you can't afford to lose, you can't afford to win." At least we got something, unlike some other Kickstarters. Lesson learned. If they don't have a playable demo or some test box, I ain't backing it.
I still haven't gotten the game to unlock on Steam and half the physical rewards, like the artbook. Also, what was the Yogdventure thing. I heard the name before...

It went though a bit of the same as Nuke Nukem Forever, except it was crowdfunded and ended up getting canned.
I haven't backed anything on Kickstarter and don't plan to.
Yikes, I forgot about Yogventures. I guess Inafune is right, better than nothing.
Though to be fair, Inafune didn't say that, his translator did. Still became a meme though!
Damn this Final Boss on Planet Robobot is fucking stressful.
Good God, I'm reading into the Mighty No. 9 controversy/controversies. You thought Peter Molyneux was a washed up has-been? 6.5/10 is the best review atm. Why did they try to create an entire franchise with one mediocre game? They planned to have anime, manga, comics, and TV shows, with an actual feature length film actually being backed by Legendary Pictures. And the failed sequel kickstarter for Red Ash. The universe must really, really hate Megaman to fuck with the series and its successors this bad.
Less Mighty No. 9, more Shovel Knight! Oh yes.

Like everything gets traced back to him, and other devs when asked went "Eheh I wouldn't count on him if I were you." Like if you look at his track record BEFORE he left Capcom there should of been some serious red flags like DmC
I still think there should have been a Propeller Knight campaign.
I'm kind of disappointed they went with King Knight, who seems really generic by comparison. Someone big like Polar Knight would have been great.
I really wanted Polar Knight as well But the people voted for what we got so
I hope we get a new story for each of them. Plague Knight's story and overall resolution was amazing.
Shovel Knight is getting updated? nice!
I would've loved Tinker Knight. He's so tiny. At least I already got my favorite, Plague Knight.
did you guys missed this direct? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSYTAzZJ4U4
• i don't understand japanese • it all seems to be about some 3DS jrpg generally speaking this is skippable for the western nintendo fan
i really love treasure knight because i love all things like that. for example of i love nautilus from league of legends even though i dont play that game anymore. something is just really cool about giant dudes in diver suits. i really hope treasure knight gets a campaign, but i doubt it since it's not exactly agile enough for platforming. but god it would be cool to platform with his anchor
A treasure Knight campaign should be like bionic commando: little to no jumping ability and an emphasis on grappling and swinging to navigate

I'm totally okay with the best Knight getting a campaign though. But his campaign should have been first instead of last, these peasants in the programming division really think they can shaft the one true King?!

There's no way they could have properly captured all of the grace and majesty of his royal highness without the experience they've gained by shippingout the lesser campaigns first
Bought Rhythm Heaven Megamix. Some of these games are kicking my ass. I'm really bad at the games that involve quick, alternating + and A presses/hold and releases. I just can't seem to get the Glee Club 2 Skill Star. Also got Kirby Planet Robobot, saving that for the plane ride to Cali.

The best Knight did get a campaign though? It's unlocked when you beat Robobot's normal story mode.
