I still have very little idea what FE# is meant to be. The only footage I seem to see of it is singing and dance numbers, but surely that can't be right. FE# isn't some kind of DDR game... is it?

It's been awhile since I played but Takumi in Conquest was such a huge problem because if you walked up to him he'd just insta gib you with crits.

In Conquest he has the skill Point Blank (which you can't get other than via DLC) which lets him attack from 1-2 range. You can't get this normally other than via DLC, so he can't have 1-2 range as a playable character unless you give him the Shining Bow, though I think that's Nohr-exclusive

I'm pretty sure the game was ready for Christmas 2016 but they pushed it for NX so they could attract people to it. Being such a huge game, it's going to occupy gamers until the NX library fills up a bit. I wonder what other games they'll launch on it.

They start out strong with their own game but most third parties aren't probably very keen with trying to fight for attention against Zelda, especially one like Breath of the Wild.

They'll have Pikmin and Mario and Kirby and Metroid and F-Zero and Zelda and Devil May Cry 5 and Bayonetta 27 and Final Fantasy 16 and Funky Barn Frontier it's gonna be great

I could see the FF7 remake coming to NX. It's a timed exclusive if I remember.

Of course no dev in their right mind would make an adventure game and release it the same time BotW comes out, so we'll probably won't see a new, open world adventure game on the NX besides Zelda for a while. That being said, if BotW becomes a system seller, it would only benefit devs to create NX games or ports as long as those games are of another genre. Most people have the mentality of not buying a console for just 1 game too, so the sales of other (non-adventure) launch games will probably not be negatively influenced. If loads of people buy the NX because of Zelda and if it turns out to be a powerful enough console, it's probably only beneficial to release games on it.

Alright I'm only two levels into Robobot but damn the ride armor kicks ass. It feels like a very well fleshed out gimmick that doesn't feel forced like the ultra power ups, which while kinda cool were pretty much "press x to win" sort of shit.
