General Nintendo Discussion V5 - The Future of Nintendo - Games

I don't think Daisy has disappeared for awhile, in so much that she's never appeared in the first place outside Mario Land. She's with Waluigi sitting firmly in "pointless characters people like for whatever reason." There was never a effort to really include her into the mainline games, she was always just kind of there where as they've been going through great efforts to make Rosalina stay in the mainline series. I fully expect Rosalina to show up in Paper Mario as a "huge surprise".

I still think it'd be fun to go for the split protagonists route again in a Mario and Luigi game and also play as Peach/Daisy/Rosalina or Wario/Waluigi.

A mario RPG where you can choose different party members(like chrono trigger) from the main cast would be amazing too. I wanna fight as bowser again.

Let's not get too ambitious now, we gotta get Nintendo to acknowledge other characters exist first. I know in the grand scheme of things it's silly but I think one of the biggest things that pisses me off about Color Splash is that they're pretending Bowser isn't the main villain and attempting to sell it as a mystery. Like if they just said he was the final boss and behind it I'd still be frustrated but at least they're not trying to disguise it. I feel like it's Nintendo actively insulting their consumers intelligence by pretending it's going to be someone else. Like I'll man up and admit I'm wrong if they somehow pull it back but when you have literal Bowser tape plastered around who the fuck else

The amiibos of those characters will help a little. If they get sold out a lot, maybe they'll get the message. Maybe.

Nintendo would be stupid not to use Waluigi for a new spin-off game, at least. Everybody loves him.

The only place I still don't get why it has FPS loss is Link's house after the Wooden Sword chest spawns. The port is messy to no end until the end too. Also noticed they put the Professor Layton movie up on the european eShop. Kind of a weird and sudden move.

Twilight princess runs better in Dolphin for me. And I emulate it at 1080p with the widescreen fix. The lowest the FPS ever went was 28, unlike the Wii U port, which has gone as low as 20FPS

Oh, they regenerate constantly too.

Digby owns and deserves his own amiibo. Poor guy gets completely overshadowed and left out in the rain. Heck in HHD he actually has abandonment issues. Poor dude
