I think I missed the ice beam. I have all other beam types already and I just got power bombs and did [sp]that self destruct gauntlet that completely caught me off guard, especially when after those slow opening doors the explosion happens knocking Samus off her feet with like 5gp left.[/sp] Can anyone point me in the general direction it might be if I did miss it?
This remake is fucking fantastic. After not having any official Metroid games (that were good) in so long, this is exactly what I needed. The level of detail and polish is outstanding. It feels like it was made by the official Nintendo developers. They really should just hire this team and let them continue making new 2d Metroid games, it's clear they have actual passion for the series. Hell, if this team just kept making more games with this engine, I'd support them all the way.
Perhaps they should take this engine, make up a new character and such, and go into kickstarter and start funding their own spiritual successor to the franchise. I'd back that in an instant. It would also have the added effect of showing Nintendo that we want more fucking Metroid games.
Make Metroid great again.

It's a white door, and below it looks like some sort of mechanism but I don't know how to interact with it.

I feel like trying out Mighty Switch Force. I own all 3 platforms it's available on, so can somebody recommend me which platform I'm best off buying it on?
So I ran out of missiles fighting the [sp]Omega Metroid.[/sp] Am I pretty much fucked? Do I have to just die and try again and hope my aim is better?
I've pretty much stopped playing A2MR entirely because of how random and bullshit the metroid mini-bosses are.
It's literally just down to luck whether or not they place themselves in a spot where you can hit them. They can dodge missiles instantly as much as they want and there's seemingly no trigger for this to happen, they just do it whenever the fuck they please.
I've had alpha metroids literally spin around me and doing that dodge move where they just skip out of a missile's trajectory several times in a row while still hitting me and pushing me into thorns, and the same metroids literally doing close to nothing on other attempts.
Fuck playing this game if fighting all the mini bosses is going to be down to this much blind luck.

If you're in an open area, jump up higher to force them up into the air and you'll be able to position yourself better. If not, you can still hit them when they are level with you, but they have to be a bit raised for the missile to hit. It's not blind luck, but it's tricky to get down.
So I started earthbound for the first time recently. I actually kind of hated it at first but it really grew on me. Just got to threed.

It feels like lucky spazzing in the beginning when you're low on missiles and energy tanks, but as you collect more, you begin to relax a little and figure out what works best. It's one of those situations where you get better at something just because you're pressed into it.

Ironically enough I'd say gamma Metroids are easier to fight because you can bait them into using their shock beam and make them sit still for a moment.

The game really starts sour since as soon as you complete the prologue you're forced to grind for much longer than you should that early in the game.

I still don't understand why Nintendo hired a lawyer to issue a takedown order when he's only certified to practice in the Oregon courts and not the home state of Washington. Seems weird to me.
