Henry Hatsworth is a game with a really creative premise that ends up sucking ass because the difficulty is through the goddamn roof for no real reason. Like it's kinda mediocre but interesting but then you get a couple bosses in and the game decides that no, you aren't going to see the end of this game.
I remember beating it when I borrowed it from a friend some time ago. I only really remember the final boss being a bit too hard.
I had a dream Nintendo had a little mini-E3 to debut the NX. And it was true, they were dropping the Wii branding. It was called the WiWi U. It basically was a big GamePad with a cartridge slot on the right. First shown-off game was a new NSMB with a entire separate "play as Bowser" campaign where the levels are a lot harder because he has an expanded moveset. There was also a game in the vein of SM3DL and they had a little mini-concert with some Japanese a cappella group to celebrate the simultaneous 30th anniversary of Zelda and Metroid (a.k.a. a medley with one segment of music from each series and then leaving.) And then I woke up.
jfc I just realized browserhax is revived and works on latest firmware Fucking nice, now I can play Super Mario World and not have to sacrifice my OoT cart to do it [editline]a[/editline] And it sounds like so does menuhax? [editline]a[/editline] Yep. Fuck me, getting into this is a lot easier than back when I started with a totally up-to-date firmware right after browserhax got patched out.
Just beat AM2R for the first time. I played on Hard and got a 93% completion rate. I'm not even the type to try to 100% my games--Hard Mode just strongly encourages collecting expansions, because: -Metroids are only vulnerable to Missiles -Missile tanks only increase their max by 2 -Super Missile tanks increase their max by just 1 It was really cool to realize, the more I hunted Metroids, the more i got better at doing it, because i was forced to develop my skill. I appreciate when a game does that. It makes you realize that you've been holding yourself back by underestimating your own ability. In the beginning, i thought the Alpha Metroids were always going to be tedious, frightening battles. Then i started beating them with the limited resources i had. Next came[sp]the Gammas, and i felt upset thinking i'd have to restart on Normal mode. But i learned how to kill them reliably, too. When i was hunting the[/sp][sp]Zetas, i recognized that process in my head, and felt more confident. At that point, the Alphas were a welcome joke. By the time of the encounter with the[/sp][sp]first Omega, i was thinking, "How the hell??," but also, "I know I'll be able to do this." And then, the next day, there it was,[/sp][sp]all four Omegas dead, and the end around the corner, with 8 Energy Tanks, 112 Missiles, and just 9 Super Missiles.[/sp] I really love this game. It was so well crafted. The team did an excellent job in every respect. And all the unexpected moments of "holy shit awesome" were amazing, like the [sp]GFS Thoth, using the digging machine, controlling the hopper drone, the Torizo, narrowly surviving the Power Core explosion, finding Federation troopers battling an Omega Metroid, and obviously, the final boss.[/sp] Would have been well worth the full price of a 3DS title, and is more than a worthy sequel to Zero Mission.
So I went to Walt Disney World today and stumbled upon this on one of the hotels Arcade room: [T]https://i.imgur.com/yYQnKVc.jpg[/T] I never though I would have seen (and play) a working one of these. The chair actually turn, shake and rumble when you were turning, getting hit, using boost.

I really wish that more cabinets of AX with the chair actually existed because while I've only played it at Circus Circus, it's legit the most fun I've had playing any Arcade game ever.
http://gematsu.com/2016/08/ace-attorney-spirit-justice-launches-september-8-west Next Phoenix Wright game coming Sept. 8 in the West.
so soon? shit, i need to finish dual destinies
I need to finish up the Trilogy, Apollo Justic, Investigations 1&2 and Dual Destinies, no way I'm gonna do it before it releases
Wait, there's an English patch of Investigations 2?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/NyisNur.png[/t]
Three new Nintendo patent applications were published today, according to a thread on NeoGAF. The products seem to be a continuation of the handheld concept we saw earlier in the year. There seems to be more about the handheld’s hand/gesture tracking feature in more detail from two of the patents. The third one talks about attaching an accessory to the side of the portable device. The device uses the infrared camera to read the button presses instead of actually using any form of electrical connection between the two. In other words, the product would use the camera to detect pressed buttons, instead of electricity. We’ve included a gallery below with all the pictures of the patent products. If you want, feel free to check them out.
https://mynintendonews.com/2016/08/11/three-new-nintendo-patent-applications-have-been-published/
Wait, there's an English patch of Investigations 2?
A fanmade one, yes. I believe it was released mid-2014.

[sp]Was the "last metroid" and to be continued message after the credits a hint at a Super Metroid remake?[/sp]

When you start a new game in Super Metroid it starts off with "The last Metroid is in captivity, the galaxy is at peace."

Seconding this, the 3DS Kirby games are some of the best in the series. The Eshop has a free demo of planet robobot if you want to try it out.

There are also a lot of good eShop and Virtual Console games you could take a look at. I'd recommend pretty much every Zelda game on there if you haven't played them yet. Last but not least the 3DS remakes of OOT, Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64 and Star Fox. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is also excellent.
i wish the rest of nintendo's franchises were getting as high quality games as kirby was
Last but not least the 3DS remakes of OOT, Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64 and Star Fox. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is also excellent.
There's no 3DS remake of Super Mario 64, but there is for the DS. There's also Super Mario 3D Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Shovel Knight, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (if you like those games).
Oh yeah you're right. Time sure passes. :v: I'd still recommend it. Even if you played the original, the DS remake adds a bunch of cool new stuff.

Wasn't the NX going to use an NVIDIA chip?
It's out. Download is in the description for those that care I guess?
