i wish the rest of nintendo's franchises were getting as high quality games as kirby was
And have similar quality lore. Kirby's makes much more sense than the Zelda timeline will ever do. But then again, we are comparing a boy in green to a pink god.

Y'know, it's going to sound very silly and tinfoil hat worthy but lately I've been thinking- maybe Nintendo is refusing to talk about the NX because they don't have anything on the NX themselves yet? Like I can imagine they have a few games contracted to be on the system but thinking it could be a situation where Iwata had something in mind he was building to- Iwata dies. New guy comes in and doesn't like it (He thought the Wii-U was going to fail as well, mind) and scraps it for a do over into something that he thinks would sell. We didn't see anything at E3 or anything because there flat out isn't anything yet. -New patents for different controllers are still being filed to this day which gives me the impression that that hasn't been settled (which if the mobile thing is true would make sense) -Companies have gone on record before saying "Nintendo announces release dates in order to force teams to speed up production and stay focused." (Eternal Darkness as a example) -Complete silence on literally all fronts even though the system is supposed to come out in literally 3-4 months -Nobody has any idea what the specs actually are and Nintendo is just now getting AMD on board according to that link. Like I'm not sure if I want to be right on this but it would make a lot of sense as to why Nintendo has refused to say anything at all if this is the case; and I'm not saying that "they have literally nothing" either as a aside. Just nothing they can show to the public. If they stick to the March release date for the NX and continue to refuse to show anything off I'm... almost certain it's going to be a total flop, and it's already a uphill battle.
There's no 3DS remake of Super Mario 64, but there is for the DS. There's also Super Mario 3D Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Shovel Knight, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (if you like those games).
TBH I really don't like how it's not a straight remake with some graphical enhancements and instead has shit like playing as the other characters and other minor differences. Unless you get to deal with Mario super early on and I just haven't got to that part yet because I only got the game yesterday and haven't spent much time with it.
Oh I don't expect the NX in march. Nintendo has released their consoles during the holiday seasons without fail, so we'll most likely get an announcement of what the hell they're doing in september, then quietly push the launch of it to holiday 2017

That would be torture... It was already supposed to be release this holiday and pushed to 2017 since Zelda games usually release during that time of year. That would be a massive bummer if it happens.

It would piss of virtually every single dev if something major was changed that would cause unforeseen issues in their games.
Surprise, the NX is actually an IBM PC with Gentoo preinstalled, featuring a nuclear reactor for power to take it on the go

Breath of the Wild is a launch game on it and there's no way they'd release the same game but better a entire year later let alone push it back after the explosive coverage it got at E3 this last year.

It means get the game officially
It means get the game officially
Will anyone even want to after what happened?
It means get the game officially
I would, but these $4.99 Virtual Console purchases, which are pretty much the only thing I buy on the e-shop, don't get me points because when they say $5 they mean $5, and besides, I'd rather play the version everyone seems to like better. As a side note, wasn't this already on the rewards list a few weeks ago as a VC game for the WiiU?
yeah i'm pretty sure metroid 2 was already a reward
yeah i'm pretty sure metroid 2 was already a reward
Yeah, it's been up the whole time [sp]I keep staring at it, dissapointedly on every reload, since I already own it[/sp]

It depends. Do my gold coins expire? I haven't actually gotten any since I signed up and I don't know how the old system worked either.

should I upgrade my old 3DS to a New 3DS? Specifically, upgrade to an XL one from my regular-sized one. Considering it seems to have more power and is all around an upgrade, it seems to be the better choice, but i dunno.
if you can't wait until at least march or you're worried about bc then go4it

Considering it seems to have more power and is all around an upgrade, it seems to be the better choice, but i dunno.
How long have you had the 3DS/is it breaking? And it depends on whether you can find a cheap N3DS, preferably packaged with a game you really want. I'm personally close to replacing mine I've had for 3 years now, mostly due to the circle pad and R-button not working from time to time. The upgrades are really nice though. Those boot time improvements are huge.
Is the New 3DS screen more sunlight proof, or at least as better brightness modes? I can't even go outside, or having daylight in the house with my old regular because i can't see a thing even with full intensity.

After beating the first 2 professor layton games I can pretty safely say that it's already one of my favorite videogame franchises.
Man I can't stop thinking about the new Zelda and then Nintendo posted that flythrough of the decrepit Temple of Time on Facebook and made my hype even stronger
Man I can't stop thinking about the new Zelda and then Nintendo posted that flythrough of the decrepit Temple of Time on Facebook and made it worse
We got a closer look at it. I noticed that one of the Guardians was holding on to the structure. Wonder if they were the cause of it's ruin. It's kinda sad to see it in that state. But the music. It's so mesmerizing. I can't wait to just find a nice spot and listen to it.

Forgot to post this, but last week I went to Game On Expo in arizona and met some pretty notable people on youtube and the NWC 1990 Champ, Thor Aackerlund. Got them all to sign a Super Mario/Duck Hunt Cart I had. On the Front: Pat the NES Punk, The Gaming Historian, Projared Back: Thor Aackerlund, 1990 Nintendo World Champion
