It could happen but probably not. Hackers found that the GBC virtual console games actually have a GBA mode and it's possible to inject GBA ROMs in them. It's just really slow on o3ds.
[scratch that]
I really wouldn't mind if they added onto the gameplay of Kirby 3D or the RPG mode as their own games. seems like they'd have nice premises and the former could even be used as a budget title if they wanted to. speaking of which, they should add Tilt N Tumble to the 3DS VC (though they want to push the Wii U..) just for the tilting. They could use the Gyroscopic controls in Kirby 3D Rumble as an analogue to some of the gameplay from Tilt N' Tumble...if Nintendo feels they should shoehorn in some gameplay features. RPG could have local and wifi multiplayer. add in some plot and maybe Dedede/Meta Knight as pseudo-villains/playable characters and the RPG formula would be complete. Its a bit of a shame that there isn't much that we already know about, and what's left are either games with no hype (like Mario Party) or games that likely wouldn't include much new info due to already being released in one territory (Federation Force), seriously doubt they'll mention anything about Dragon Quest VIII until VII is released. they'll probably be riding on the back of Nindies, maybe Runbow Pocket? i'd be surprised if there were updates to more existing games than just New Leaf, Kid Icarus: Uprising could just give weapon gems (was there any exclusives before they stopped being sent by spotpass?) with amiibo...or give new control schemes. They would probably tease a little Sun/Moon stuff, but only vaguely with a "Coming Winter 2016" message, like showing the character actually walking up to the Pyukumuku beach and showing the player throwing them in the water with english dialogue. but nothing like Rockruff's evolution on a poster in Corocoro. oh and golden Bottle Caps....maybe how people can obtain them in the western games. since we kinda lack secondry promotions like Magearna's GaOlé puck having her QR code on it....they're just going to hype the Tomy figures, right? EDIT: Dataminers already found out future characters in Hyrule Warriors Legends from placeholder portraits back in July, it's [sp]Yuga, Ravio and Toon Zelda, they all use Link portraits[/sp], shame they chosen [sp]Toon Zelda[/sp], i would've gone for [sp]Linebeck[/sp]
I miss the days of expecting a Nintendo Direct every other month.
Now I miss the days of expecting Nintendo to ever talk about the NX.
I miss Iwata :(
Holy shit, I forgot how freaking hard (and awesomely over-the-top) The Wonderful 101 is!
hopefully they give a date for Dragon Quest 8
Remember Nintendo Directs?

Nothing from NA yet.
I need to wield this power for good. Remember Mother 3?
I miss Iwata :(
I had honestly forgotten about him. Why'd you have to open up that wound?
for many people such as myself, the wound still hasn't healed.
Doe anybody know if GBC screen is actually any larger than GBA screen? I knew that if we play GB games on GBA, we can stretch the screen. But if we didn't stretch the GBA screen, is GBC screen actually bigger? Because if it is, then I'm going to buy a GBC.

Just a friendly reminder, if you still haven't used your Platinum Coins that you got at the start of the My Nintedo service, they're more than likely to expire on September. I haven't used mine cause there is still nothing worth to spend it on.

Game Boy Color has a screen height of 4cm, Game Boy Advance has a screen height of 4.08cm. Curiously, the GBC's screen IS smaller than the GB and GB Pocket/Light's though, (at 4.3 and 4.4cm in height, respectively). The Wikipedia article on the matter is wrong. Here is proof that the GBC's screen is smaller than the GB and GBPocket's in image form to invalidate that statistic on wikipedia: [T]http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k200/horatiogiovanni/IMG_0540.jpg[/T] Those screen height statistics are straight from Nintendo's site.
Beat all professor Layton games for the ds. Onto the two 3ds games. So far my favorite is unwound future, both story wise and puzzle wise.

Well how 'bout that. Although, do keep in mind that screens are generally measured by their diagonal, so I would assume the .1cm difference between GBC and GB is made up for in the width as well, to keep a similar diagonal.

I don't know why you would get anything other than an SP for GBcolor games. The lack of a backlight on the other systems is terrible.

Were critical hits already known to be in the game?
Well shit. I've been proven wrong. When I played pokemon blue on gba, the game screen is actually smaller than the gba screen. Maybe pixel density of gba is higher, resulting in smaaler actual screen when playing old gameboy games.

The GBA has a 160 pixel height in nearly the same height as a GBC has 144 pixels, 16 pixels less. After looking at it, in order to avoid image distortion, it has a very small amount of vertical letterboxing to ensure it runs them with a height of 144 pixels, so a GB/GBC game would actually appear larger on a GBC than a GBA despite the GBA having a taller screen. Interestingly, the pixel height of the GBA is the same as the pixel width of the GBC. As mentioned before though, if you have a GBA SP, the backlight/frontlight (depending on the model) is more worthwhile than this relatively minor difference in appearance. I'm not sure I could really advocate going to a GBC unless you just want the nostalgic experience of a system less than three years older than the GBA.
