Also the DLC adds four more adventure maps that are not available on the Wii U version.
didn't play much of the wii u version of hyrule warriors, but I did put ALOT of time in legends.
all the little changes are really nice
If it wasn't for the 300+ hours in the Wii U version, I would play more Legends.
Tho I did get back to the Wii U version recently and tried to knock out some of the Challenges. Word of advice: Unless you're a completionist and hands of steel, don't do Survival Battle Lv4. It takes 30-40 mins to complete, anything in that mission will fuck you up if you don't cheese it and at some point you end up with 3-4 dark bosses on the tiny cramped battlefield that is the "arena" form of Ganon's Castle. My hands hurt but was happy I got A on my first try with 43 mins. with lvl 255 Master Sword Link.
I got legends just so I could play as my man Zant on the go.
Wasn't really interested in Hyrule Warriors until I saw it come to 3DS.
I had a lot of the maps completed on the Wii-U version and jumped to Legends anyway. It almost feels like a completely different game so it actually didn't bother me at all.
I cannot imagine going back to the wii-u version

Aside from the visuals and the exclusive mode, there isn't much.
Now Legends with Wii U visuals on NX with save transfer and even better optimization would be something I'd love to see. Hyrule Warriors Ultimate Legends.

After being turned down from joining Smash's roster, Shovel Knight travelled back in time in order to fight Mario.
Even if Shovel Knight doesn't make it into Smash or some indie version of Smash, I'd like to see modders make a Shovel Knight character as a Brawl mod at least

I think Shovel Knight is a wonderful platformer and is genuinely amazing but it's starting to feel weird that he's on such a high pedestal. It seems literally every single indie game these days has "...and guest starring.... SHOVEL KNIGHT!!!!"
I was about to make a joke about him being in bloodstained before I realized he's there too.

Yeah I guess. The merit of guest characters has kind of been going stale. He's a guest character in what, 12 indie games by now?
Actually nevermind, he directly appears/is going to appear in 15 other games :v: Not counting easter eggs like his helmet in Necrodancer.

Don't worry, more undertale references will start popping up everywhere eventually.

The owners of Shovel Knight and Undertale really couldn't be more opposite.
SK's devs are very public and, as previous posts have shown, are very willing to concede to other developers requesting to have a Shovel Knight cameo.
Undertale's dev seems very private and usually responds non-seriously to interviews, which can either be viewed as hilarious or an attempt to tell people to leave him alone. Despite the amount of Undertale fangames done without his consent, he not only is very against his characters and assets appearing in other games, both freeware and not ( ironic since he basically stole sound samples from Earthbound, which itself has legally questionable sources for some of it's sounds like the song Deirdre for the "uncannily human pipe organ" sound, since it actually is people singing. There is effectively no way that these aren't ripped right out of the ROM, as Earthbound has very specific sources for many of it's sounds, unlike, say, Square-Enix games that habitually used the Roland Sound Canvas like SMRPG and FF7), but when Nintendo approached him last year on getting Undertale onto Nintendo systems, he not only seemingly has turned them down specifically because Game Maker doesn't have a Nintendo export option, but turned down offers from other devs to help get it ported despite there basically being no reason not to.
Speaking from my time talking with Toby is that he's a nice dude and (at the time) was really nervous that his game would be used for unsavory things like agenda pushing and whatnot when it was something he just wanted to make for fun.
I think he doesn't want anything to be spread or used because Undertale IS a passion project for him even if a lot of the art is silly/sloppy. Simple as that.
Really unless something changed he's still a nice guy.

I use the term half jokingly but Shovel Knight in comparison is kind of a sell out :v:

Shovel Knight is kinda what most indie games wish to be- massively successful, wide reaching (few kickstarter games get on store shelves), no controversies, and large expansion packs that are still coming and will be until 2018 or even farther. Hell, with the recent gunvolt news, YCG have even become a publisher! So I don't find it too surprising that so many indie games have requested the character to be in as a cameo.
...man I feel like a shill-
"Memorable characters"
*proceeds to name essentially the only new character in the game*
Member Toad #274?
Someone get me in as their PR guy so I can clean the clocks of every numbskull in there and put in some real marketing.
Here are some Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD commercials, just for reference.

Man, I remember the "who are you?" tagline that gamecube commercials had
I don't know why they used it though
Man, I remember being a kid and seeing a Thousand Year Door paper prop in a gamestop, and I was all "THEY MADE ANOTHER ONE???" Pretty sure that and Melee was what got me to get a Gamecube.
Here's a little known fact: what some debug text in Mario Artist: Paint Studio says

This is not the first time that nintendo says "shitty bad words" thing.

I like the idea of Nintendo programmers looking through sometime and swearing profusely to themselves. "What is this shit? Someone fucked up. God damn it, what did they do?" Bonus points if it's Iwata or some other higher-up who did programming.
The first Paper Mario commercial really sticks with me to this day for some reason. It's just so dumb and goofy and I saw it so many times growing up- combined with the fact the game was awesome I guess that's one reason
Oddly I don't recall *any* gamecube commercials. Not a single one.

"Who are you?" was their tagline for Gen6 in general, especially when the GBA was concerned. I remember clearly there was a GBA poster design contest that incorporated the phrase and someone did this stellar tanooki suit one to coincide with the release of SMA4:SMB3, which ended up winning.

All I can remember of Gamecube era ads.
Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer announced for Japan.

It has 30 games like the NES version, but some of them are different. This also shows the first glimpse of the UI, savestate system, and display options. I hope the NES version's UI looks that fantastic.
