Why would you want to do that to yourself?

funny that they use the main theme from true romance for this, a very violent movie of a completely different tone
great song though

Reminder: September 30th is the final day you can add points to the Nintendo DSi Shop.
You still have until March 31st to spend any remaining points, but after Sep. 30 you won't be able to add any new points. So if you were waiting all this time to get some more DSiWare for your actual DSi, now is the time.
Rest in peace, jazzy shop tune. ;_;7

Wow I'd argue the Famicom mini has a stronger lineup of games

My only major complaint is that they're using the original versions of Donkey Kong, Excitebike, and Mario Bros. They all have superior re-releases that Nintendo is always really shy about using for some reason.
Here are some Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD commercials, just for reference.
2004
Oh my God I watched that commercial and suddenly got a huge rush of nostalgia. I probably haven't seen that commercial since it debuted.
And now we have a new video for the NES side:

*snip ok*

lmao they showed castlevania one gameplay when the title said "Castlevania II: Simon's quest"

Do you blame them?
The first Paper Mario commercial really sticks with me to this day for some reason. It's just so dumb and goofy and I saw it so many times growing up- combined with the fact the game was awesome I guess that's one reason
Oddly I don't recall *any* gamecube commercials. Not a single one.
I remember the Pikmin 2 one because of how absurd it was

How much better is Castlevania II's Famicom version? Probably a lot, like the Zelda games.

Honestly, last I remember the Famicom version of CV2 isn't all that different. I'm sure there's differences, but even in the original texts the NPCs can lie to you.
CV3 is the game that was really different, not only with the Famicom version having superior sound, but also the batshit rebalancing the west got to make it near-impossibly hard.

is there ANYWHERE still accepting preorders for this? i missed the preorder day and everywhere's been sold out since
Is the Hulu plus app on Wii U fucked for anyone else? Whenever I start it up, it just hangs the Hulu logo forever. Deleting it and reinstalling didn't do anything.

The Hulu app is shit on every platform.
Especially the one on any "smart" TV ever. Constantly freezes up.
is there ANYWHERE still accepting preorders for this? i missed the preorder day and everywhere's been sold out since
Nope. It's gone worldwide now. Gotta wait for the restocks.
In related news, NoA's channel posted their own short and sweet version of the overview with better music:

I've also gleaned a few little details from the official Japanese site that people might want to know:
-Available resolutions are 480p and 720p.
-Comes with an AC adapter in North America, but not in Europe or Japan.
-The Mini Famicom does not have an actual microphone on controller 2.
I'm thinking of getting a wii U, how long does 8gb last?
Get the 32GB. 8GB is paltry.
That said, you can hook up a USB drive and use that for storage as well. Bear in mind, Wii U doesn't have USB 3.
I'm thinking of getting a wii U, how long does 8gb last?
It wont even last for one game.
according to miyamoto, mario is 24 years old
http://arstechnica.co.uk/gaming/2016/09/mario-24-years-old/
He has a nice mustache for a 24 year old.
For someone who's 24 he sure looks like he's in his 30s-40s
For someone who's 24 he sure looks like he's in his 30s-40s
Apparently Mario's lucky to have February 29 as a birthday...? Unless he's been in hibernation for a while.
Oh well, it's been a long time since Cranky Kong saw Jumpman.
In ssbm, mario classic mode trophy info in the Japanese version said that he is around 20 years old, this is true that Shigeru said that mario is actually 24 years old.
I'll guess that luigi's age is between 22 and 23 1/2 years old.
I'll guess that luigi's age is between 22 and 23 1/2 years old.
Aren't they twins?
They are but Luigi stayed in the womb a lot longer, clearly.
Mario's original character design in Donkey Kong was 'middle aged guy' so 25 sounds like a fine age for him, except that I'm only 4 years younger than him and he's accomplished a thousand times more than I ever will already. Fucking video game characters making me insecure about my life, god damn it.
