Alright, got the game and right off the bat, I don't like the only 1 Save File per console. Sticker Star had 3 Save Slot for crying out loud.

That's real weird. All of the games before now have had 3-4, haven't they? I know TTYD Had 4, but it's been a few years since 64 or Super.
What would even be the practical reason for there to just be 1?

Save file size, but I can't think of anything that would cause it to be unreasonably large. Is there user created content somewhere? Paintings, songs, anything?
Nah, though it's not just one per console. It's one per player profile so you just have to swap to another person's profile if you want a new file.
Why was it so important for the Washing Machine to get "censored"? Ridiculous.
Well, so far, been enjoying the game alot. Still don't like the Toads looking the same (put some mustache or female version or something!) , but the dialogs are great!

:why:
I don't even understand, both those types of washing machines are widely available in the United States so it's not like it was changed because Americans don't know what a front loader washing machine is or vice versa.

According to the web, America usually have top loaders and europe typically has front loaders. Similar to how Famicom references are changed to NES references- not a big deal, y'all.
i don't think anyone actually did think it was a big deal, we're all preemptively reacting to censorship posts that aren't actually being made unironically
Biggest gripe I have right now with the battle system is that a lot of the gimmick cards or ones with unique attacks seem weaker/kinda worthless.
I used a Eekhammer and got all the hits on it, meanwhile I use the normal hammer that's fuckin everywhere and I'm sending out shockwaves knocking out multiple enemies and doing just as much damage. I think that's one of the biggest gripes I have- no damage value/HP values mean you just use that stuff when you wanna spice it up.
That being said I think it's so far tied with 64 to me. If the designs were more interesting and it used more characters in general it would be no contest but man I don't know WHY they couldn't spice it up even a little bit. All talking enemies are shy guys, all talking friendlies are Toads. Ehhh
Finally up to where I stopped playing a couple weeks back so maybe that'll change.
It won't but it's nice to dream.

One of the biggest missed opportunities is the fact the Koopalings don't become party members. I mean people would still bitch about them because people love complaining but I just got the ability to summon Morton and if the plot was rewritten just a tad it would of been a cool surprise to see them turn one by one to help you save Bowser from a hidden big bad controlling him.
Eekhammer and the Hopslipper are intended for the stack enemies like 5-stack Shy Guys or 10-stack Koopas because each member of the stack takes one hit to kill, even the last one.
Edit: I think it's a deserved nerf for the Hopslipper at least because in Sticker Star there was almost never a reason not to use it over any other Jump sticker besides spiked enemies.

Front load washers weren't common until recently iirc, at least ones designed like that. They've been popular amongst urban living crowds in the past couple of years since you can stack them and fit them easier. how or why anyone caught this is beyond me though lmao.
Front loader versus top loader, huh?

Is this possible that they did this as a nod? Censorship as an easter egg, that's a new one.
I wouldn't even remotely call that censorship.
That's localization, as the original tweet states.
Whoops, bad choice of words on my part, sorry. Didn't really think about it.
I can't say I care either way though.

As amusing as that'd be, it seems like a bit of a stretch
Did any of you other Americans prefer the look of the Super Famicon controllers over the North American SNES controllers?
[t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/SNES-SFAM-Controllers.jpg[/t]
I oddly feel more nostalgic towards the PAL controller than the "usual" SNES controller, though that could just be because I'm nostalgic for that particular color scheme that it's got for the buttons.

What is that? Super Nintendo Controller always had the colorful buttons. What is a famicon anyways?
Nintendo Family Computer is the Japanese variation of the NES.
Man, I never though the Magikoopa was going to be annoying, but challenging, in Color Splash unlike in Sticker Star. Got me off guard that he appears random in fights to mess you up.
Managed to beat the first boss with some problem: [sp]When Morton was at the top of the Stool, I was worried that the KO Hammer was the only thing to remove it, I only had 2 of them when starting the battle. Also block his attack, since I got crumpled and almost died to him before he use his Fire Hammer. Thankfully, the Thing that I needed was easy to know since the toad int he trash can will tell you pretty much what you need to have, unlike in Sticker Star.[/sp]
I find it funny that when you use a replica Thing, the word REPLICA is all over the screen like a watermark.

North America had the one with the Purple buttons.
Though I think they did sell the coloured ones near the end of the SNES's life span? I remember my cousin having a SNES controller with the coloured buttons.
Famicom is the shortened name of the Japanese name for the NES and SNES.
So I've been loving Yokai watch 2, it's certainly a major improvement over the first installment which I already logged like 40 hours into.
And then I came across the best Yo-kai.

His name is Apelican, he talks like a cowboy and he constantly shouts YES WE CAN! whenever he attacks. His soultimate is also a line dance that uses the old scooby doo running sound effect.
I'm so glad nintendo brought these to america.

Colored buttons were only on third-party controllers in the US. I had a few. But all official ones used the purple/lavender scheme. As an added quirk, X/Y had concave tops in contrast to A/B's convex ones, whereas all four in the multicolor version are convex.

i didn't even know a purple on existed until i was an adult
your snes console also looks like shit. look at it

why did they give you that?
I actually like the SNES we Americans grew up with. It looked robust and I like the purple. Hell, it is robust; damn thing is indestructible. I don't know how well the PAL SNES/SFC holds up, but the NA SNES is a damn beast.
That said, the regions consolidated their designs for the 101 unit anyway (barring the cartridge slot for obvious reasons), even if they kept the buttons different.
[t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cf/SNES-Model-2-Set.jpg[/t][t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e3/SuperFamicom_jr.jpg[/t]
We actually even had a different symbol for our system compared to the "rainbow flower" thing PAL/JP had.

I like purple too, but having had a murican snes controller in my hands I gotta say it looks like poop compared to the european one. Also the european snes is pretty heavy / robust too.
But pretty much the only difference between the two controller versions is the face buttons and some typesetting...
Honestly I hate the weird, dry roboticness the US had to have with its systems. They made the NES look like a VCR out of hopes of avoiding backlash after the games crash in 84, and the sheer system design change resulted in them cutting corners with the tech to fit it in, making the NES inferior to the Famicom. And while I grew up with a US SNES, the EU/JP SNES looks a lot more neat and aesthetically pleasing; the US version looks like a brick photocopier I could kill a man with.
Then the N64 came and both sides had the equivalent of a big ass plastic castle.
Roy's intro in Color Splash is amazing and I'm afraid of what the internet is going to do with it.
Do we know what the Japanese version of Shufflegate was in Color Splash?
