Makes me wonder if the new system will still work with Wiimotes, as they have those ports. Come to think of it, nothing used that port on the bottom of the Wii U GamePad either. I wonder how much Wii U tech will be compatible with NX.

Or "Nintendo Classic Mini" will become a series and replace VC on their main consoles. OR VC will just be fucking dead. :(

I made a little betting game for my brother and friends about the NX, I finalized it tonight so we can lock in our choices before Nintendo starts revealing stuff! Just like the Wii brought the non-gaming crowd into games, the NX will get the non-gameplaying crowd into games. So many people nowadays enjoy videogames secondhand; from watching others play them and playing vicariously through them or speculating about them. The audience for non-playing game enthusiasts is huge, and Nintendo is tapping into this market by releasing a games console that no-one can actually play (except for special Nintendo Content Creators who keep a 10% cut of their Youtube profits!!!) but everyone can enjoy. You don't need to buy a console, controller or even games; you can just go to Nintendo.com/nxgame and enjoy all the content there. No need to worry about all the surprises being ruined; every Nintendo Content Creator will be told to specifically avoid 100% completion to keep things fresh for viewers. New games will be announced, teased and then never released to the general public on a regular basis. The best part is, you can't be disappointed by a game you never actually play. It'll stay perfect in your mind forever.
