The fact that skyrim is on there is huge, IMO. If they're finally getting good third party support, this could be a massive success for Nintendo. I think it looks super promising and I'm eager to get my hands on one.
It's all I ever wanted. I always got both, the stationary console and the handheld but I always wanted to have a system that merges both into one. The powers of a stationary console and the mobility of a handheld. And finally I got it.
Now that the "Remasters" I'm calling it expansions of the games have been shown, I can finally say that i'm feeling quite excited about the SWITCh. Also guys hold me please.. [t]http://puu.sh/rPrC0/e41cf6a0aa.jpg[/t] I wanted this for so long.

I haven't followed Nintendo since I started playing PC games six years ago. I have to admit I was quite a cynic but this may just bring me back into it.
[t]https://blogs.nvidia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/20-nintendo-switch.jpg[/t] The buttons replacing the d-pad are a sacrifice that had to be made, but I hope it doesn't make d-pad usage incredibly awkward in the handheld form.
Can we just stop to notice that the entire thing is matte and not glossy plastic? We may finally get a modern Nintendo system that isn't a total fingerprint magnet. Looks really rad, I'm looking forward to seeing the launch lineup.
So MK8 not only has King Boo, which is new, but also two item slots. Wonder how the hell that'll be balanced.
As someone who's a sucker for home consoles with their own screens added on: [t]https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51XA739GA6L._SX425_.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/pZao5.jpg[/t] I already love the Switch. Super excited to see what they do with it.
From Software means Dark Souls and possibly Bloodborne
Bloodborne is a Sony IP, don't start hoping for it any time soon
POWERED BY NVIDIA https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2016/10/20/nintendo-switch/
Holy fuck.

Finally, Nintendo has granted me the ability to break through the the fact that I prefer to play JRPGs on a handheld rather than a console or PC.
I hope Wii U pro controllers will work on this thing, at least for VC games because the thought of trying to play a 2D platformer with that segmented D-Pad sounds pretty shitty

I'd certainly buy one to get the D-pad back. I mean, it'd be interesting. Here's your D-pad! Here's your C-Stick! Here's your SNES-styled buttons or something! Here's your regular layout but with a controller-style grip! Here's your Pro Controller stick setup! And so on.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of how the sticks have gone back to asymmetrical. Especially because if you wanted to use the two halves as individual controllers, the physical locations of the buttons would be more similar if they were symmetrical; you'd just rotate both halves counter-clockwise. It would also mean the shoulder buttons and Start/Select would remain on the left for both players, whereas in the layout they have here they'll be on the right for P2.
I'm really digging how the non-screen controller's layout is like the GC controller, honestly
Local multiplayer with the world's tiniest controller. Seems neat.
Switch has no region lock, and more
The name Joy-Con makes me think of Barkley Shut Up and Jam. Barkley 2 on Switch when?
I think when we were showed Splatoon. It means Splatoon 2 or "Splatoon for Switch" I don't think they will be updating the Wii U version again. The same with Mario Kart. New Mario Kart all together or "Mario Kart 8 for Switch"

Might be looking to far into it but girl playing the new Mario game brings it to her friends and snaps off two controllers showing two people playing at the same time. Camera in the new Mario game and the movements in it imply it's 64ish in style, but I wonder if multiplayer is also a thing?
The big make it or break it for me is those ports, really. Like, this thing clearly doesn't take the DVDs of the Wii U, so that probably means rebuying certain games and I refuse to do something like buy a third version of Smash Bros for the Switch.
I wonder if switchrim (calling it that) will be moddable at all.

Like how Hyrule Warriors Legends did: New content but you can still get the new Character for the Wii U version.
I'm just hoping that the inevitable Smash Bros port has a new character or two namely k rool never give up hope

Just saw the teaser, looks really interesting. I can't wait to get more information about this.
