rogue because this thin motherfucker is so dashing and deep voiced mmmm
rogue because this thin motherfucker is so dashing and deep voiced mmmm
Holy shit, Obama's Spike Spiegel. He'd fight bare-fisted.
Welp, the final bosses of DS2 were underwhelming. Nashandra was piss easy other than her annoying curse/health drain thing which was fairly easy to dodge and Aldia was a joke. Throne Defender/Watcher were kinda fun though.
The DLC bosses are a lot better.
The DLC bosses are a lot better.
Sunken King was the only one I finished. Sinh was pretty cool, his move set actually felt like I was fighting a dragon instead of a stompy thing that occasionally breaths fire. Elana was shit though, her constant summoning of Velstadt just made the fight more of a chore than anything. Got to the Fume Knight in Iron King but couldn't be asked to put forth the effort. Didn't even start Ivory King because I was starting to get burnt out on Dark Souls and just wanted to finish the game before I decide to take a break and inevitably not get back to the game for several months.
triplets and lmao 2cat were trash goth woman and boytoy, cat and cool ranch were super average, edging towards boring cocaine king gets extra points because amazing presentation even if the boss itself is barely above average sudoku man, huffing man and stinky rrerrgon were really good overall it's a better track record than the vanilla game when two thirds are not shit
I didn't even bother fighting velstadt when she summoned him. from then on the fight just involved a lot of running away from velstadt and pulling single sprinting attacks off against her whenever there was an opening. her ranged attacks are easy enough to avoid
I still don't understand why a man with a jester outfit should block my way inside an Aztecan pyramid of some sort, let alone why he's an excellent pyromancer and can also casts healing miracles

Jester Thomas is a summon in another area, he's a pyromancer there as well. That's not a miracle, it's Warmth.

thomas is a traitorous little bitch
thomas is a traitorous little bitch
He's a jester, tis but a jest ser.
twas merely a societal manipulation
I still don't understand why a man with a jester outfit should block my way inside an Aztecan pyramid of some sort, let alone why he's an excellent pyromancer and can also casts healing miracles
Because Fromsoft actually checked how that NPC carried the whole boss fight against Mytha and wanted to torture the players. I also like how people got hyped as soon as they see Glencour as a summon against the 1st Ivory King boss yet he can't do anything since Aava can't be staggered and so he's just a tanker.
From what we've seen, the NPC invaders in Dark Souls 3 are even bigger bastards than the ones in Dark Souls 2's DLC, with even smarter AI. Good cause to be excited.
FS has always seemed to be good at making AI that can fuck the player up. The AI in BB is predictable once you die enough but the enemy ACs in Armored Core were some serious bullshit.
Found this image plastered around the wiki page. The hell kind of silhouette is that? http://darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Dark-Souls-3/boss-placeholer.png
Since I had a day off yesterday, I figured I'd spend it conquering the Iron Keep, and succeeded. After fighting the Smelter Demon, I thought the Old Iron King was really going to give me grief, especially after taking out a phantom I summoned, but he ended up being a real pushover. Took me two tries, and only because I fell into the lava while dodging. I'm at Drangleic Castle now, if I beat the game, can I continue on? I still haven't done any of the DLC areas except for some of Brume Tower.

You've also got a ways to go, Drangleic Castle is maybe the 2/3 point..
Yes, NG+ only triggers once you select it at Majula. You've also got a ways to go, Drangleic Castle is maybe the 2/3 point..
That you could decide when to go to NG+ even after killing all bosses was something I liked about Dark Souls 2. I hope 3 does something similar, though given DS1 and Bloodborne, I doubt it. [editline]17th March 2016[/editline] God, waiting for this game to come out is so hard. Like, the PVP at the network test that Oroboro and other YouTubers did? The netcode and hit detection looked super tight, not like in Souls 2. There were a few players who were lagging, but the majority was amazing. And the weapon arts, hnng. Added a fresh element to PVP that's been missing for a while, IMO.
because there's no summons for covetous demon, I had to give him some love taps so that the poison jars around the room could finish him off. nothing special happened in earthen peak, and thomas and scarlett finished off sneklady very fast [t]http://i.imgur.com/8ZJczLn.png[/t] iron keep went a lot more smoothly than I anticipated it going. I didn't count on the ironclads and alonne knights all bunching up and killing themselves in the flamethrower traps. as part of his good community service, ned established drangleic's first knight day-care during his visit, and manhunter o'harrah finally found redemption after falling off the ledge during the freja fight [t]http://i.imgur.com/xwc7WZa.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/2E42D2g.jpg[/t]
I hate the Old Iron King. It's so easy but whenever I fight him, I get super nervous over the edge of the lava and end messing everything up at least once.
Oh Old Iron King, my favorite NG+ farm boss which i always end up dying to the red phantom turtle instead of him :v: Plus i lost counts how many times the host dies from falling in the lava as a summon, so many players ask for summons somehow.
I beat OIK on my first attempt and yet still die to him on repeat playthroughs because I keep rolling into the lava hole. :v:
OIK is the pinwheel of dark souls 2 but that fucking hole is manus
prowling magus and congregation is the pinwheel of ds2
I think the congregation boss would have been much better had it just been a non-respawning event instead a boss fight. (Like no fog door, hp bars, etc)
i rspect your opinion but thats like saying that a hole is a boss
you aint gotta be like that. holes can be bosses too, man
i rspect your opinion but thats like saying that a hole is a boss
Remember Bed of Chaos?
you aint gotta be like that. holes can be bosses too, man
I mean, just look at Smelter Demon: [t]http://cdn.pastemagazine.com/www/articles/Smelter%20Demon.jpg[/t]
I have played Dark Souls, and I currently have Bloodborne (which is reminding me how much of a scrub I am). Dark Souls 3 looks interesting. Should I bother getting DS2 and any of its expansions?
Is anyone else so fond of the default Knight set in Dark Souls 3 that they may upgrade it and use it as a primary armor set? I hope that when fully upgraded it proves viable even in the late/endgame/NG+. That French-style Cuirass is just sexy.
