With all the PvP talk in the last couple pages, I just hope red phantom invasions become a more regular thing again instead of the bullshit PvP we got in DS2. Cracked red eye orbs only and bell/rat covenants ruined the PvP of that game. Not only that, no full red eye orb meant that since invasions were rare, the white and blue covenents were also ruined by extension. I joined the blue covenant on almost every character I made at least until I got to the sun bro statue. And in the dozens of hours I spent in the blue covenant with the ring on, I can't remember ever getting summoned to a single invasion. It tried once or twice but failed, not sure if it was because of network issues or if the host just died before I loaded in. More than anything, I hope there is a blue cov that actually works. It'll give me reason to be something other than a sun bro for once.

if you're doing all the "collect all the x" achievements the most you gotta do is NG+3 for all of the weapons you make with sif's soul

A few weeks ago I also said I'd ditch the thread till the April release too, but here I am still. I feel like if I keep coming back here I'm eventually going to fuck myself over, especially now that almost every post here has [REDACTED] basically written all over it.

I feel like at this point I should just tune out and be in a cave hiding from the outside world until the FBI comes to get me on April 11. But the drama of spoilers and how easy you can just highlight the text to see it makes it hard to let go.
Guess it's time to play Battlefront, the MGS series, and invest in a MMORPG.

Shame there's no actual 60FPS combat showcased there, but holy shit, movement looks so smooth. Far as I know this is the first video on YouTube that shows Dark Souls 3's PC gameplay in a 60FPS video.
I was genuinely surprised that the Minimum specs of DS3 were so similar to the DS2 SotFS's ones, and considering I run that game like a dream nearly maxed out on this dying laptop, DS3 might run well too/
There's like almost no difference on a lot of those settings wtf. exceptions being Reflections, shadows and DoF.

Serves as a reminder that the only reason Dark Souls II was visually downgraded across all platforms from the early preview gameplay that we saw is because the Xbox 360 and PS3 couldn't handle it.

Given that it continues into other frames, it's probably just edited in, and is from an area of the game where the soundtrack's more appropriate.

Every track they've showed off from DS3 is amazing, even better than big hits like the phase 2 tracks from BB imo.

Yeah the only 2 songs that in my opinion that are memorable from souls 2 are the Bone Lord's and Executioner's Chariot themes, and that's ironic considering those are 2 of the most underwhelming bosses in the game.
Dark Souls 2 had good music. Ruin Sentinels, Chariot, Velstadt, Ancient Dragon, Nashandra, Aldia and all the DLC bosses. Hell the boss theme is probably the only redeeming part of the Ganksquad and Lmao2cat fights.
Sir Alonne in particular has the best boss theme in the series to me.

Don't jump the gun yet. The achievement may not be on that list, may be hidden, or may simply not exist for it. That or it could've been renamed.
Basically every "good" theme was done by Yuka Kitamura. I don't know why, but Motoi Sakuraba was really lacking in 2, despite his good track record and performance in 1.
