And honestly, the current situation beats what happened with Dark Souls 2, where the PC version was delayed by months and still was an abysmally shitty port that looked terrible. To say nothing of the gamebreaking bugs that didn't get fixed for a whole year.

Not to mention the 60FPS durability bug. Essentially, it was half-assed, and only looked as bad as it did because last-gen consoles couldn't handle better visuals. I mean it was a good port compared to Dark Souls 1, but that's still comparing dirt to a turd.

They literally didn't test if anything tied to framerate would be affected by anything. Like 90% of the weapons in the game degrade instantly, let alone armour. In the fixed version, your gear almost never breaks

Just did my first invasion. One phantom, managed to take him out despite getting stunlocked a bit and the host firing magic at me from behind him, but eventually the host got me with her shortsword Weapon arts are great fun to throw out. All in all very enjoyable, will probably make an effort to PvP for once in this series

The audio queues are on point in boss fights too, the transitions are great and really make it intense as fuck when you're in the latter stages of the fight.

(third boss comments) [sp]Holy lord, what an epic boss. I just got summoned alongside a sunbro and we 3v1'd the cursed greatwood (if that is it's name)? Has to be the greatest giant enemy fight I've ever experienced in the series. Just a ridiculous fight overall[/sp] edit: Just beat it myself, what a fantastic boss. [sp]I wouldn't usually summon multiple phantoms for a boss (I summoned just one this time) but it feels like a boss where more people = more fun[/sp]

Alright, I found a bonfire which I completely missed and a key NPC (NPC spoilers)[sp]Cornix the pyromancer.[/sp] To get to him you need to[sp]Go to where the 2 hollows, lots of explosive barrels and a bunch of fire-throwing hollows up above, then look down and to the right of the bridge, just before you actually reach the aforementioned area. Drop down and find a bonfire then just follow the route[/sp] edit: Covenant spoilers [sp]Anyone know where to find the sunlight talisman in the undead settlement? I definitely didn't find it on my way through[/sp]

I am SOOOOOO salty right now. The fact that streamers get a priority over anyone else just makes me so mad. Also will be going dark now, hope you have a great time when the game's out, peace

My god, (area spoilers)[sp]The flooded woods is such a beautiful place. CRAB BATTLE[/sp] A guy invaded me and I can see him really far away, going in the complete wrong direction. lol

Covenant shit; [sp]How do I go about being a purple phantom? I've what I assume NPCs invade me as them because they were janky as fuck adn doing rnadom shit but that might be those crazy Japanese, but it's ballin as fuck and I WANT it.[/sp]

Holy shit the boss fight after the [sp]Poison swamp woods[/sp] is crazy.

HOLY FUCK that was intense what the fuck (Fourth area spoilers)[sp]So about that invader going the wrong way, well he wasn't. He ambushed me and a summon I enlisted the help of, killing the summon. I ran off, and he ambushed me again when I got attacked by a real big fucker with claws and shit strapped to his back. Sick of his shit I ran to the start of the area where there's a nice open space and challenged him to a duel. I made short work of the knave as he was too stupid to realise he had run out of FP to cast his spammy pyro. I then instantly got another invasion message, Japanese name this time, thinking to myself "what the hell, there should be some kind of timer between invasions right?" So I stayed in the same place and waved my torch around so he would see me better. He suddenly emerges from behind a nearby tree and starts spamming soul darts and barrages at me, as well as attacking me through my shield. What a fucking nippon tryhard I thought, and started shamelessly chugging, and he did the same. Just about managed to beat him with no estus and 5% health left. Suddenly I received his hat and weapon and realised it was actually an NPC invader all along. Got it on video as well haha. My hands are still shaking The human invader was a blue though. What are the conditions for invasions with that covenant? Pretty sure I haven't sinned or anything[/sp]
