Dark Souls + Demon's Souls + Bloodborne Megathread VIII. At The End
i think that's about right, a lot of bosses in bloodborne have huge hp pools compared to the dark souls games. probably because you get 20 vials to heal with.
When I started the successful kill I had no blood vials. It was my third attempt and the most I ever had when I went to fight him was 4 :v:
If I'm all out should I just go farm them from easier enemies early on?
[editline]27th March 2016[/editline]
Another question: What's a good spot to help people in jolly cooperation?
ds3 boss spoiler [sp]man Pontiff Sulyvahn is fucking impossible. like i have no idea how i am ever going to do this boss without like 6 phantoms lol[/sp]
[editline]27th March 2016[/editline]
i think he's just not a strength weapon boss. he's too fast

Item question spoiler [sp]Can anyone confirm if the Elite Knight Armor and Crest Shield are in DS3? I want to keep rocking my Oscar of Astoria fashion souls.[/sp]
yes

nevermind i did it lol. just levelled up my greatsword and wrecked his ass
[editline]27th March 2016[/editline]
he was the first real challenging boss though
200 may be a little high. DS2 had adaptability, and having that at 25 or whatever was a prerequisite for pretty much every build
DS2 PVP was either 150, or 200- depending on who you talk to
having it at 25 is useless for spell-casters because attunment adjusts agility
agility at about at least 99 or 105 (exactly) is best really
[editline]27th March 2016[/editline]
man being a sword collector in ds2 is fucking bullshit
I'm so glad I'm no longer going to be punished for upgrading anything anymore.

If you completely run out and can clear Central Yarnham easily, I recommend starting on the Great Bridge, killing the brick troll surrounded by crows, killing the two werewolves, clearing the sweaty house, and then killing the two brick trolls near the elevator shortcut. Each run should net you about 12-14 blood viles. Equip your discovery runes as well to increase the chance of drops.

don't talk to me or my son ever again
I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT
I GOTTA HAVE IT
Fromsoft don't care about you guys soulfans.
Pewdiepie got his free DS3 english copy months before you chums who even preordered did.
We're just not worth it
ds3 boss [sp]fucking hell aldrich the devourer of souls is fucking impossible.[/sp]
How would I switch between arrows in DS2 on pc without having to manually go into my equipment and switch to it?
How would I switch between arrows in DS2 on pc without having to manually go into my equipment and switch to it?
R1 shoots one quiver and R2 shoots the other

Not even the first time I come across this kind of thing.
Not sure what you're trying to show with that picture but your spear definetely isn't supposed to be unbroken.
Also you can take off your name engraved ring once you're summoned and replace it with some buff.
this game is blowing me out of the fucking water
the fan service is intense and it is the most wonderful thing ever. i found the armour set i used in my very first ds1 playthrough and i swear i got a bit emotional? a beautiful moment.
then (late boreal valley zone spoilers) [sp]right afterwards i came upon a very familiar swivel staircase that brought me up to anor londo and i started doing backflips [/sp]
what a game
Alright I'm on a late game boss, (late boss spoilers)[sp]The teleporting one. Not naming names haha
I can crack the first phase just fine but the second phase, man he becomes a real problem. That huge 'faith wave beam' or whatever is just too damn wide, I've died a few times just to that already. Loving the boss though[/sp]
Holy shit I did it. [sp]If you're using a heavy weapon, make use of the fast rolling attacks to sneak in blows when you get a chance, but he's very aggressive[/sp]
edit: I've just realised I've sent (NPC questline spoilers?) [sp]Greirat out a second time what felt like hours ago and I haven't seen the little bastard. Need him back so I can buy crossbow bolts off him, pretty sure I've cleared enough bosses for him to return again? Anyone have any information on this matter?[/sp]
Someone assembled proof through observing videos and streams that the Xbox 1 version had nerfed difficulty. Enemies seem to have at least 20% less HP on the unpatched Xb1 version of the game, and they deal in some cases less than half the damage that players are receiving on the PS4 and PC. Guess you're going to have to do a second playthrough when the game is patched, Rusty.

Casual Souls confirmed?

What is showed there is that the manikin was killed near the bowl, its corpse stucked after death and stretched for some reason.
Covenant spoilers: [Sp] so I caved in and looked up a video of dragon form gameplay.
Needless to say I am hyped as FUCK to play a skinned deer[/sp]
Vague endgame spoilers [sp]Right, it seems I've reached the final boss which is hard as fuck. But apparently I've missed like four optional bosses. Damn hard to figure out where you haven't been in this game[/sp]
Now that i finished my SL1 NG+ playthrough, i want to create a new character before i move on to DS2, is dex/fth build any good? Never tried dex in DS1.

nah. ps4 users salty they aren't playing in english yet trying to find any reason they can to hate on the xbox version
if anything it's just a version which has different balance, and they changed some things in 1.01. there is no way its a universal 'less difficult' version. i am playing it and there is no way that is the case. i am near endgame

one of the posts says
"I've been playing it, and it seems that when you get to the point of where the press weren't allowed to continue, this nerf stops. Things get drastically harder out of nowhere.". so if there's any nerf it stops after like the first level

Considering that it's most likely that people who are playing the Xbox version right now have proberly played all the other games, it's not a case that you're completely in the deep end. Although it does feel like it's getting tougher with some of the area's i've gotten into, although i'm at the 28 hour mark and i've spent a fair ammount of time exploring everything. I think the spike hits after the... third, forth boss?
I think i'm close to finding what i want.

Yeah. If you're like me, and enjoy spears, make use of the Dragonslayer Spear.
without spoiling anything else, is there an equivalent to the [sp]dark wood grain ring[/sp] in ds3?
without spoiling anything else, is there an equivalent to the [sp]dark wood grain ring[/sp] in ds3?
i found one that [sp]obscures my roll. makes me invisible and puffs smoke. not the same thing though obviously.[/sp]

[sp]There's a ring that gives you more i-frames at the cost of defense.[/sp]
