I'm not sure why he's even bothering with the 3rd game, if he hated and was bad at the other 2.
He's chasing the money, as usual. He has been known for dropping games because the viewer counts where too low. 600 people are at his live stream right now and his main way of earning money is through adverts... the funny thing is, there are people out there with 1/5 of the viewer counter that are earning more money than him there, just by donations.
Fun fact though, he's earning somewhat $1,257 a month through Patrion dontations.
I just witnessed what's possibly the funniest DSP death in history. I'm done watching for now, but he just [sp]used the Young White Branch given by the giant in the tower at the Undead Settlement in an attempt to sneak by the Frost Knight at the bottom of the tower, because he thought "Good friend, no hit" meant that other enemies wouldn't attack him.[/sp]
I really want to see a professional psych profile for this guy.
I saw that too, the plot thickens.
Spoiler - [sp]I wonder what that means for him later, will Giant-Bro start shooting at him again because he used up the branch that's supposed to be a token of friendship?[/sp]
they botched the story and any character development by making it into a movie format (cutting wyald yet again). key scenes felt half-arsed, no emotion whatsoever. nothing is especially memorable, side characters like corkus are especially unmemorable. bland soundtrack except the intro. the cuts between 2d and 3d are really jarring and off-putting.
not counting the cgi, the animation was actually solid. the eclipse was pretty well executed.
id say the original anime is a better experience despite some of its obvious shortcomings (they worked on a pretty small budget)
To be fair Wyald is such a throwaway character even in the manga. He literally brings nothing to the table, and after he dies it's just a "yeah that happened" and everyone moves on.

He's openly admitted that he only plays the Souls games for the money and would never play it on his own time. The guy couldn't care less for the games.
Very fitting (no spoilers)

What i never understood was why can't he focus all that time and energy on getting good at a game like Street Fighter, or just fighting games in general instead of wasting his own time, money and energy playing everything that comes out... although that would require a bit of common sense wouldnt it?
I killed a dude ontop of this building and he dropped an item mid fall

Fuck
Also, to whoever was asking whether a certain demon's souls-esque shield seen being wielded by an enemy was usable - [sp]Yup. It's basically Adjudicator's Shield 2.0, even restores health at a small rate (2HP/s)[/sp]

Don't really have my hopes up for it.
Vague end boss spoilers - [sp]Whoever thought Gwyn wasn't difficult enough is in for a little surprise with this guy. Jesus fuck
The annoying thing is I'm pretty sure I have 14/15 estus shards found and only upgraded to +7 when it should be +10. Why have I missed such important items[/sp]
edit: Jesus christ he even[sp]FUCKING heals. I have transcended being mad[/sp]
edit2: (warning - more specific end boss spoilers) [sp]His lance mode is infuriating. He has perfect tracking and shuts down your attacks with a trade every time, not to mention healing like a fucking quarter of his health and then slow healing for a minute or so. Dexfag mode has to be the second worse, especially after magic bullshit mode letting him keep his soulmass bullshit. Literally can't attack at all. What's infuriating is that I've got him down to less than 10% life in his second phase TWICE now, but the last few tries have all been disasters. This is just horrible[/sp]
So after never playing a dark souls game and being encouraged to buy it, I only have a PS4 controller, and the game says that A is for enter, but i have to press B, and all around its very fucked up, any way to fix this?
Just got a Blood Rock for helping someone in a Chalice dungeon. Do you realize how incredibly rare that is?
Has Bonewheel Shield been sighted in Dark Souls 3?
I need to know.

Dark souls 1 cannot into direct input (which is what the dualshock controllers use), you need to use an xinput converter and use a special command to make it work.
im not really privy on the details, but I know that a program called DS4Windows works well for this.

Yes, its in the game, and before you ask it also spins.

Avatar fits.
The soundtrack so damn good holy shit! What a way to end the trilogy. Though if I have to agree with one thing it's that it does sound LOTR-ish. In example,(end-game spoilers I believe) [sp]Soul of Cinder[/sp] sounds a bit like aptly named [sp]The End of All Things from Return of the King. Just swap the elvish choir w/ the piano and there you go.[/sp]

Want to see something stupid? Earlier in a previous stream he(very early game spoilers) [sp]lets Sigward fight the fiery Taurus Demon in the Undead Settlement ALONE, nearly killing him by back-seating the fight. He survived, but got rewarded from pretty much being a bystander.[/sp] How scrubby can you get besides unplug the Ethernet cable? This moment apparently.
Welp, time to make a dual bonewheel build again.
I knew it. Never trust a skelly.
Good god I've done it. Level 90, 43 hours
And I feel like I've missed a good chunk of NPC interactions/items/weapons let alone the entire PvP scene
Safe to say, this game is big. Not quite DS2 quantity, but it's quality throughout.
A few final comments on the last boss - [sp]awesome concept. I always thought one of the greatest aspect of souls was the variety of player character, good to see a boss that basically makes you fight every single one of them including a callback to DS1's final boss except even crazier. Got chills when the phase 2 music came on, though I think DS1 and BB's final boss themes were hugely superior. I'll give it time I guess, some themes I didn't take a liking to to begin with have become favourites[/sp]
I'm only now reading about other people's experiences though, apparently faith sucks massively offensive wise, as well as magic with pyro being the only reasonable one. Why did they nerf casters so bad? I wanted to play cleric on the 12th but now it just isn't looking attractive
That's sad to hear about faith. My first run (and probably subsequent runs) is going to use faith alot.

Wonder if there still going to be some decent buffs with it. Since [sp]Oreostein's[/sp] armor is apparently back I can make my DS1 styled Paladin outfit again. Is the Giants Armor in DS3 or any similarly gold armor?

[sp]Giants was shown in promotional screenshots, i'm fairly sure of that. Not encountered that yet but i have a feeling i will soon.[/sp]
Starting class spoilers - [sp]The Herald Armor that you can start with is pretty Paladin-esk, maybe low ranking until you find better high ranking Paladin gear.[/sp]

Stein's Gloves and Torso, Giants Helm, Giants Legs, and Giants Shield was a pretty ballin' set of golden paladin armor that matched really well.
Couldn't wait. Bought the game in Japanese on PS4, downloading now. Won't be the first time I'm buying more than 4 copies of a souls game. I've got the week off since I'm starting a new job, and by the time the game releases worldwide I'll be way too busy anyways.
See you all on the other side.

Well, I just gave in and preordered.
I'm pretty sure the deal I got is better than what I would've gotten if I'd waited until launch day and gone to the closest physical store and bought it, for several reasons:
- Including shipping I got it for 529 NOK, and the store usually sells new games for 599 NOK.
- It has the soundtrack and a nice metal case.
- They ship it a few days before release, so if I'm extremely lucky I might get it before the twelfth. On the other hand it might be a few days delayed, who knows!
I didn't think my hype levels could go any higher but I was wrong! :ohno:
By now I'm over level 200 on what feels like my 500th character, I've totally and completely refined creating a character
maxed bone fist, red rust shield, zweihander, old whip, vanq seal
pretty much beat the game what? 6-7 times now?
I've beaten a shitload of players in fair 1 on 1, and have been decimated all the same.
Pretty much the only bosses I've not beaten yet are Raime, that samurai, the three kitties, the giant ass-dragon and that dark covenant guy
Beat DS1 once but I don't feel like doing it again. DS2 and SOF I've worn down to a grind.
By the time I finish Raime, the only boss I really give a damn about I'll still have plenty of time left.
Bought a steam controller months ago and just now wore it into ds2 to get used to the new lay out and train myself out of the pro-u
ds3 and its DLC's already preordered but the damn thing isn't unlocked yet
My body is ready

What dude get in there
I'm so tempted to buy japanese ds3. It's right there within my reach (and wallet)
But I'd miss out on all the discovery with my friends and I'd also have to spend money
I regret not going full big weapons from the beginning in DS3, it is so much fun.
oh yeah and I didn't beat cool ranch smelty demon but tbh fuck that
