your soul level is irrelevant, what matters is your soul memory
its basically the Rom fight yet you didnt criticize that
i think you just have a hate boner for Dark Souls 2
Rom the BITCH ASS Vacuous Spider and Freja are both fucking horrible fights. Dark Souls II is also a pretty medicore game, and Freja has NO REASON to shoot a laser beam. The big spider in Demon's Souls made sense. Freja is boring, and her fight's gimmick is negated by a torch. Which means that it's just a test of patients to run between her fucking heads whenever she fires her laser. It's not fun or interesting. Just like ever GREAT SOUL fight. The only one that comes close to being any kind of fun was the Lost Sinner, and she was also a pretty uninspired fight.

Ah, I didn't know that. My souls memory is 1,425,051. I've corrected my original post as well.
Has there still been any news on how the PC version of DS3 will be like?
Has there still been any news on how the PC version of DS3 will be like?
I'd guess that they're going to keep quiet about it 'til the games release.

Just wait a few days after release to see the reviews
Dark Souls II's port was pretty good. I wouldn't be worried.

I just remembered the durability glitch.
Nevermind.
dark souls 2 killed my dad and burnt my house to the ground
dark souls 2 killed my dad and burnt my house to the ground
Let's put it this way: I grew to care about Dark Souls so much that I'm disappointed the sequel doesn't reach the same standards
dark souls 2 killed my dad and burnt my house to the ground
Scholar of the First Sin resurrected my dad and built me a house
Scholar of the First Sin resurrected my dad and built me a house
But it also filled that house with a bunch of heide knights and a dragon
Scholar of the First Sin resurrected my dad and built me a house
And then sent the Pursuer and some ogres to punch a few holes in the drywall.
Is Namco Bandai tasked with the PC port of Dark Souls III?
Because, at the moment, many gamers are just a bit pissed about the horrible PC port they made for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Well, I beat Scholar of the First Sin today. I'm going to go back and do the DLC areas, but I have to say, [sp]Aldia coming after Nashandra[/sp] was a huge surprise. A [sp]third[/sp] boss at the end of the game would've felt excessive, but they're all kinda pushovers. I loved the alternate ending, compounded with everything Aldia says to you throughout the game. My issues with enemy placement aside, a pretty decent package for $15. I prefer the enemy placement in the original Dark Souls II, but this is worthwhile if you haven't gotten that.
Maybe it was just me actually using it, but it seemed like the torch had a lot more utility this time. Especially in the catacombs-like area. That was so cool, lighting my way with the torch and balancing sight with combat. It feels like the game gets infinitely better once you get the four Great Souls. [sp]Reverse Dark Souls.[/sp] Heide's Tower of Flame didn't need that fucking dragon added to it, 50 feet from the DRAGONSLAYER, but. Whatever.
Decent game, can't wait for 3.
[sp]still shit compared to Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, though[/sp]
After playing through the DLC for Bloodborne, i believe that the Bow Blade is perhaps my favourite weapon in the game easily and at least top 5 in From Soft weapons.
Makes some fights in the chalice dungeons like the undead giant much easier when you can outrange them so you dont risk getting one shotted to his spin attack. And despite its flaws, i do like the chalice dungeons.

Didn't they patch that very quickly by reducing all damage your weapon takes vs. NPCs by 50%, bringing it back to those 30fps damage numbers?

That's just some shitty low-end weaboo game. I'm sure they're gonna put more care for one of the biggest ARPG releases of the year, specially since it's a 1 day multiplat, people are gonna talk.

If by "very quickly" you mean "after SoftS dropped," yes. Still pointless becsuse half your hits bump on walls and floors anyhoots.

And made the bathroom much harder to get to.

I get the feeling you like the Souls series a big deal, don't you?

to be fair the souls fanbase is one of the most fanatical without bordering on the creepy

You're literally in a dark souls thread.

Man I'm not a fan of Naruto at all but the audience for those games is fucking huge and Bamco (Namdai? I don't know what they go as nowadays) knows it. I'm fairly sure they care about whether it sells or not.
That's just some shitty low-end weaboo game.
No, not really. I know a bunch of people who don't even like Naruto who love the Ninja Storm games, dude.

The opening cinematic to DaS 3 was just posted on the official Dark Souls account, if anyone wants to watch.
My 2 cents? It looks a lot better than the one from 2, and seems like it'll set up the game pretty nicely. More akin to 1 than 2, basically.
2's was weird because it's the only Souls game that doesn't give an overarching setup about the Lords or the location or anything, it's entirely about your dude
also did she actually call that dude [sp]Flann[/sp] or did i mishear?

The woman that puts that crown looking thing over her eyes must be the new firekeeper that we saw in those screenshots the other day, right?
Also it's interesting that Ash is now a prominent lore point. Ash = death/residue/former life? The opposite of fire, likely
[sp]That saint of the deep looks pretty crazy. Wonder how the hell the gameplay will work with him. Abyss watchers too. Maybe it's time for a MULTIBOSS
Clearly these guys are the big bads, but I wonder if we'll get a Gwyn-like main 'villain' in DS3[/sp]
So has it been confirmed that we have to level up at the firekeeper lady rather than bonfires?

Which dude, the giant? I heard [sp]"Yornn / Bjorn"[/sp] or something similar.

Sounds like [sp]"Aldritch, Saint of the Deep" and "Tharon's Undead Legion"[/sp]for the other two
[sp]Aldritch[/sp] looks fucking baller, I hope DS3 isn't going to suck although I'm fairly optimistic about it.
