what
Apparently he butchered/overhyped the movie Green Inferno, which is a spiritual successor to Cannibal Holocaust, that's where I heard of him and saw the hate reputation come from at least. Animation doesn't look too bad. I just hope the witches aren't Firekeeper annoying.
It's not a spiritual successor it's a direct rip-off because the guy had one good idea with Cabin Fever and instantly fell into horror schlock. So now he's just feeding off the fame of other movies or in the case of Green Inferno taking something barely anyone nowadays knows about and trying to make money off of it.
I'm determined to beat Demon's Souls for the first time before DS3 comes out. Tonight I beat Flamelurker, Dragon God, Penetrator and Old King Allant. I still have to beat Maneater, Maiden Astraea, Old Hero and Storm King. I finally feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this game :v:
Done, now I am officially ready for Dark Souls 3. I thought it would take longer, there's still two weeks left fuuuck
Done, now I am officially ready for Dark Souls 3. I thought it would take longer, there's still two weeks left fuuuck
how long is demons souls? compared to ds1
how long is demons souls? compared to ds1
a bit shorter, i finished around 7 hours ahead of dark souls
I finally got into the mood to play Dark Souls but fucking DSfix doesn't work anymore, I even reinstalled the game. Isn't it supposed to be as simple as extracting the .zip to the /DATA/ folder? The rendering is fine but I can't use my controller. I'm using a PS4 controller with DS4Windows. It used to work Fixed it, just had to click hide DS4
I've been avoiding everything about it as much as I can, but I did watch TBs stream for DS3 because I am just too excite to get my hands on it on the 12th (I hope my 780ti does well with it), but I wanted to ask a question in a non spoilery way, a simple yes or no will work. The first enemies you encounter, I like their blades and general "shroudy" look, can they drop any of their equipment?

I think they just dropped [sp]broken straight sword[/sp] for me, not like I farmed them for eternity so maybe could be other stuff.
You talking literally the first enemies you fight? Anyway, yeah, super excited to play come the 12th. Been awhile since I have played through a Souls game so it will be nice to come back.
what
welcome back

He's really well known in the movie industry for making a lot of movies. Some good, some bad. A lot of it notoriously gory.
Oh my god, I finally beat the taurus demon. I beat Bloodborne 5 times before I ever got it down to 50% health. Isn't there supposed to be a bonfire right next to him after i kill him? That's how it is with clearing bosses in BB

What I did was, I ran up, rolled when he struck down and he fell off the wall and died
Coming from the Original Dark Souls myself, I never thought that the game would prove challenging to a Bloodborne player.
BB isn't so hard if you're used to a fast paced Miyazaki game like Armored Core 4. BB is just AC4 but with 2 dimensional combat and a gothic RPG setting instead of customizable mechs. What am I supposed to do after the taurus demon? I can either get my fat ass roasted by the dragon, do 5 points of damage to an armored pig's backside, or I can fight some snazzy looking guy with lean black armor set and only do 12 points of damage per hit to him
when i first fought the taurus demon, i fell off and died. he followed me. i vanquished him and died at the exact moment. so when i came back, he was still dead. and my victory souls gone forever
I'm torn, should I get the PS4 version or PC version of Dark Souls 3?
I'm in the same position. On one hand my brother only has a PS4 and he's tons of fun to play games with. We always have a great time. On the other hand the friends that are getting it for PC are cry baby ragers and have ruined Dark Souls 2 for me before. I'll probably end up getting it for both, but it looks like PS4 for me to begin with.
gotta love people who summon and then black stone you

That's the game I started with, though, so I'm pretty damn close to a master with Dark Souls 1.
gotta love people who summon and then black stone you
I did this to two people, back to back, but only because I was low on bullets and vials, had a small fortune of blood echoes, and needed to use the lantern to hightail it back to the hunter's dream. I felt like a total dick afterwards. Notwithstanding the fact that I was invaded right after I used the silencing blank on the last guy, and ended up dying and losing my echoes anyway. :v:
I've been trying to get summoned in Anor Londo for two days now but no one bites. Can't invade either. Surely 42 isn't too high?
I've been trying to get summoned in Anor Londo for two days now but no one bites. Can't invade either. Surely 42 isn't too high?
To be honest I think 42 is too LOW for Anor Londo. AFAIK it's like level 50 and up there, someone feel free to correct me.

In BB if I fucked up I had 20 blood vials, I could steal some health back, or I could visceral to get back health, bullets, and deal an absurd amount of damage. In DS I get 5 flasks(which I at least don't have to grind for after a boss) and there doesn't seem to be anyway to get more unless I use humanity or get healing miracles
I feel the opposite. Dark Souls 1 was challenging but as my first souls game I got through it better than I thought, and Dark Souls 2 was even easier. Bloodborne is kicking my ass right now and I'm not sure if it's just me or me and the fact that my equipment sucks. It just feels like enemies take too many hits. I'm playing through Dark Souls 1 again and it just feels so much more satisfying because I'm doing decent damage.

fully upgraded ludwigs holy blade / moonlight greatsword or bust

Lock on and quickstep like no tomorrow, use it to get around and behind your enemies, and never be shy about using your blood vials. If you get hit, don't puss out unless you're basically almost dead, rally back the health and keep swinging.
fully upgraded ludwigs holy blade / moonlight greatsword or bust --- i disagree with that. its fundamentally the same as dark souls but just a bit faster. dodge an attack, go for a big hit, dodge and get distance and get back stamina, repeat.
the holy meme is my life, i would sacrifice several children to use it in DkS 3. Honestly the first thing I max is my vitality so I can tank hits and get great rally potential, then just start playing hyper aggressively, its worked for all my runs.

[editline]30th March 2016[/editline] and try to use as little health vials as possible. never get hit. [editline]30th March 2016[/editline] once you can stagger enemies by doing enough damage, then you can just whale on them. vicar amelia goes from one of the hardest bosses to a joke once you can stagger her in a single hit. just gets stunlocked for the whole fight
