Can anyone who has played/seen any (combat question) [sp]recent magic gameplay tell me if it is any good? I tried caster in dark souls 2 and loved it, but I heard that the sorceries/hexes/pyromancy in 3 was a bit of a letdown in spell strength. Can anyone confirm or deny this?[/sp]
So is there still atrocious lag in pvp in 3? Been playing through SOTFS to get all achievements and lag stabs/backstabs are pissing me off to no end.

But if you're playing with someone from the other side of the planet, or someone with a bad connection, there'll be lag. No amount of coding will fix that. People do seem happy with the netcode this time around, though.
My highest were day 1 DLCs in DS2 About almost a 1k rating about "Try rolling" , apparently it helped a lot :v:
The wait is agonizing. I'm so salty about this release I could cure a ham. It's getting more and more difficult to avoid watching videos.
I wonder ... since that infamous Playstation 4K rumor has been basically confirmed, should we expect to be able to play Bloodborne on the new shiny console at a 60fps? Or maybe at an higher resolution?
heh, I think my most rated message was the "tongue but hole" at that one lady on-the-rock in DS2. I think I got HEAPS of ratings for that one
heh, I think my most rated message was the "tongue but hole" at that one lady on-the-rock in DS2. I think I got HEAPS of ratings for that one
i lament that we cannot get her dress.
I just preordered DS3. I was really apprehensive about it until I started playing Bloodborne with my friend recently, that game rekindled (hehehe) my interest in miyazaki games
Mine is this [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/286350544344830816/E67977EFC380C64B27894C38FFDBB8898BE77DA5/[/t] I don't even understand why it is rated so high.
Why are all these written in broken english?
Why are all these written in broken english?
Because its all preset phrases and subjects.

to this day i regret overwriting my shittiest but highest-rated message. "Hrrah for leg! By the way, Praise the sun!" shit got over a thousand votes and saved me numerous times in boss battles.
Today I beat the capra demon and now I'm on my way to beat the boss of the depths. Those sewers are exhausting to be in on the otherhand, the giant rat was laughably easy, I just did a plunging attack which hit for 700+ damage
Slimes take too long but they're not a threat once they're on the ground. Anyway I cleared Depths. Not sure if I should go straight to Blighttown or go back to Darkroot and try to kill the hydra or go back to firelink and see if the catacombs or new londo ruins are easier now but I'm not sure if I should run past the ghosts or curse myself to fight them. I have about 20 vitality and enough strength to wield the zweihander.
If you have pyromancy it makes the slimes in the depths really easy they're already really easy once you figure out their gimmick but if you think hitting them takes too long, even the weakest pyromancies will nearly kill them in a single hit
This whole time I thought their weakness was backstepping :v:

The tree-people there drop blossoms that cure poison and a more rare blossom that cures toxicity, which you'll need both of in abundance in Blighttown. The hydra is fairly easy after you get past his water-jet attack he stops doing it and just makes the same attack over and over, which can be blocked with a shield and is really easy to dodge. There's also the moonlight butterfly, which can get you some extra souls + a key that leads to a place. (a small, optional place)
I'm playing as a knight and right now Shield+Sword is the playstyle I'm used to(I tried going for lighter armor and dodging, I'm not a pro at it like in bloodborne). How should I be getting new gear and upgrading? My current gear is the default knight armor with the gargoyle helm and the grasses shield and drake sword. I have pyromancy and the heal miracle just in case

You can buy a kite shield from Andre and upgrade that, because upgrading your shield will increase its stability, which is how much stamina you lose when blocking attacks. The drake sword is fine for the early game but I would not recommend upgrading that because it does not get damage from stats and it requires rare dragon scales to upgrade. I would suggest finding another weapon you like swinging around, there's a variety that can be bought from Andre as well as found lying around like claymore on the dragon bridge, upgrade that and start using it when it begins to outdamage your drake sword, because there will come a point where the drake sword's damage won't be sufficient.
You are a bit wrong about grass shield, its not upgraded using twinkling titanite, and 95% phys reduction is a good price for a minor stamina boost.
..Huh. Always thought it was twinkling titanite because it is enchanted. Even so, though, it isn't worth upgrading because it gets 63 max stability, which is the second lowest at +15, and 95% phys reduction is okay if you're only blocking occasionally, but if you're blocking a lot then it isn't a good idea. Personally, I would only use the grass crest if I wasn't planning on using a shield at all, rather having it on my back and two-handing my weapon instead. For shields for the purpose of shielding, the cadeceus and tower kite shields have the best stability to weight ratio if I remember correctly, and the silver knight has the highest stability overall.
If blocking is all you do, then I suggest you get a large shield later when you find one, personally I like the Tower Shield.
Was co-oping in Dark Souls III and I had a boss just flat out disappear for me and the two other phantoms. (Late boss arena + heavy equipment spoilers + gestures spoilers, no visible boss, Japanese ver.) I think my highest rated message at roughly 500 was in Bloodborne, in the forbidden woods, down that one path after the fire/oil throwers/many dogs. All it said was something along the lines of 'Nothing but birds here' because there's about 5 crows and nothing else :v: guess it saved people the time of exploring I've realised I've never really upgraded my shield in souls. Maybe infused one or two in DS2 to give them better resistances Same with armour
I don't upgrade my shields because the best shields for shielding were havel's and artorias' and they don't increase stability with upgrades. I did infuse in DS2 to get that 100% magic resistance, though. Makes Armana far less painful.
beat dark souls 3 hoooh boy you are all in for such a treat the ending that i got [sp]was fucking awful though. he just lights the bonfire and it fades to credits. literally what happens after every boss but turned into cutscene wtf. i checked the other endings and they are so much better. the one i got shouldn't even exist. such a disappointing way to end my favourite game series[/sp]

Oh my god i'm so bad at pvp, i just want to curl up like an egg and wait to be cracked
