This is something annoying in DS3, in general rule regarding NPCs [sp] I do dislike that you have huge chance to miss majority of NPC invaders by not being Embers and the part that you can't get invaded after boss being killed. I forced myself going offline on NG+ just to check and it's ridicolous that invaders also drop rare weapons but now i messed up an invader spawn due to a boss being killed so i have to go NG++ later on. First time i wished NPCs would actually break the rules.[/sp]

DS2 was different and DS1 didn't have much on that case despite being the same as DS3.

In Bloodborne there is a rather long ladder in the path between Forbidden Woods and Iosefka's Clinic, with a note at the bottom saying "[I]Reminiscent of snake, time for singing[/I]". I wish I had taken a screenshot of it because I don't see it any more.
So many people are playing das1 rn aaaaa
So I've put about 25 hours into DS1 in the past week or two and in all that time I've only seen one summon sign and had one invasion and they both happened at the same time in that DLC area that people use as a fight club. I guess it's pretty much dead.
Also, I'm trying to beat Manus for the first time and not quite sure how to go about it. I have Sif and a greatshield but I still can't seem to manage it.

Fighting Manus without the Silver Pendant is a real bitch. With it... it's almost trivial once you get his melee moveset down.
What the fuck, there's a pendant that you can use to help fight him?

Repels his dark magic spells, rendering them effectively useless, assuming you get the timing right.

I never had any trouble fighting Manus without the pendant. In fact when I try to use it I just do worse because I'm too focused on when he'll do his magic. Just rolling everything is enough to get through the fight relatively unscathed.

Maybe my trouble with it was because I was med rolling. The ends of the spells would always catch me.

First, I've gotta congratulate you guys on never watching Dark Souls runs on YouTube or Twitch. I didn't have that sort of self-control.
Second, I've gotta chide you guys for never exploring Oolacile carefully. And that's all I'll say about that for now.
I only found out about the silver pendant after beating him. But then again, [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j8NJ3SyODQ]I cheesed him[/url] after I couldn't kill him the "normal" way.
Also I'm ashamed to admit I've never defeated Kalameet :( There's just something about that damn boss I can't handle.
The Oolacile enemies sucked to fight so I just sprinted to the bosses.

I did get the Silver Pendant and found Sif and all that, but I never knew it was useful like that. I never ever read or watch anything about Souls-games before I complete them 100% (or more like THINK I have achieved 100%) so I just fought Manus head on with the pendant relaxing in my inventory and won. :v:

[sp]Strip down to your skivvies and it should let you use them, I had to be naked to use the stones so I assume it just doesn't unequip your armor for you anymore.[/sp]

I was pretty much in the same boat. Manus took a lot of attempts, and I had the Silver Pendant with me the whole time but never knew what it was good for. I beat him in the end, but in NG+1 he was just so much easier using it - took me like two tries.

my favourite was a message in DS2 in front of Darkdiver Grandahl that said "weakness: right leg, weakness: left leg"

That's why there are messages. I've never been down that way one time in all my playthroughs and not had the light message appear at that spot.

When I went there I didn't even have any way to shine a light, I didn't get a lantern in the catacombs, Solaire didn't go crazy and give me the headpiece that lights up and I wasn't using any magic so I couldn't use the spells that light up :v:
Is there any notable loot besides the pendant I missed out on behind the illusory walls in Oolacile?
