the sides of my eyes are still wrinkled after reading the thousands of messages in front of the door where you meet the raven blacksmith in DS2 i was like "oh shit bangin babe behind door number 1 no need for toyotas" and then i got the key and then I saw that fucking woman [editline]3rd April 2016[/editline] i thought the hooting was a pet owl goddammit
my favourite was a message in DS2 in front of Darkdiver Grandahl that said "weakness: right leg, weakness: left leg"
My favorite Souls message will always be this one in Drangleic Castle that says "Visions of fatty and then tears," and then you walk around the corner and there's a mirror.
Christ, April 12th can't come soon enough. At least I have the DSII DLCs to complete
I'll be basically finished university three days before the game comes out. This will be the summer of nothing but PS4, Dark Souls 3, and a lot of salt
I never had any trouble fighting Manus without the pendant. In fact when I try to use it I just do worse because I'm too focused on when he'll do his magic. Just rolling everything is enough to get through the fight relatively unscathed.
I recall always getting fucked when I use the Silver Pendant, 'cuz all it would ever seem to do for me is bounce back his magic up in the air, only for it to just come raining back down and destroying my ass.
dicking around trying to cheese a miniboss, and a pretty funny glitch occoured. Its more or less spoiler free, its an enemy that was featured in the prerelease test things that the youtubers got months ago. [sp]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYlun8odEMA[/sp]

Some people have deliberately done their best to try and avoid ALL spoilers, even pre-release gameplay builds. Besides which, that's a mid-game area being spoiled.[/del] Thanks!
For those who live in the US and are on EDT times, the game unlocks on steam at 6pm on the 11th. If anyone didn't know.
Fucking kills me that DSIII is coming out when I have 3 weeks left of Uni this year and my workload will be stopping me from playing it so much.
sweet spot mechanic is still in but its not nearly as bad as in dks2
did they also fix scythes being unfun to use in general too like the only one from DS2 I could say I would have liked to use was Natascha's scythe but the 2HR2 drains more stamina than a session alone with 20 playboy magazines and 2 liters of goddamn lotion [editline]3rd April 2016[/editline] who the hell drives the pointy end of a scythe into the ground what happens if it gets stuck jackass
Is there a reason DS4Windows doesn't work with Dark Souls 1?
For those who live in the US and are on EDT times, the game unlocks on steam at 6pm on the 11th. If anyone didn't know.
I thought it was 5 PM at UTC-5. That's EST, right?
Is there a reason DS4Windows doesn't work with Dark Souls 1?
I think you have to select the hide ds4tool option in the settings
Is there a reason DS4Windows doesn't work with Dark Souls 1?
Set it into exclusive mode, it fixed it for me
I thought it was 5 PM at UTC-5. That's EST, right?
Its daylight savings time if you observe that shit, so it's -4 now.
Fucking kills me that DSIII is coming out when I have 3 weeks left of Uni this year and my workload will be stopping me from playing it so much.
I have the same issue. 2 massive projects going on a huge exam to study a funeral to go to for So much important shit to do, I don't know when I'll have time for Dark Souls 3 until like a week or two after release
Is there a reason DS4Windows doesn't work with Dark Souls 1?
What's wrong, exactly? As long as you have an x360 controller showing in your control panel, and only the xbox controller, and everything in its options works exactly as it should, there should be literally 0 issues whatsoever. The only issues I've noticed is that something's insanelly off with controls - sometimes I can try to backstab a mob, with nothing actually happening, and then whatever button I press after causes me to attack - even if it's a roll button. No idea if it's the mods (watchdog and dsfix), the game (never had such weird issues before), or ds4windows somehow magically breaks something
Hmm, this is the first time playing the Steamworks version, and with DSfix the game seems to be running smoothly but... I don't know, slow? Like a higher framerate but slower overall. I don't recall it ever being like this when I played through it last time
For those who live in the US and are on EDT times, the game unlocks on steam at 6pm on the 11th. If anyone didn't know.
I live in Manitoba, so CDT, and I get it at 5PM. huehuehue =D
4PM for here in regina.
Hi, new in this thread since I finally got into the game without getting too [del]frustrated[/del] bored after like 5 minutes and I must say the game is actually rather fun now once I understood how things works. I've got not much to say so far besides this so I'll be continuing my playthrough. Oh, 2 more things; Capra Demon is a compensating little bitch and Blightown can eat my dick. That is all.
I just realized it comes out Monday afternoon, and right about the time it comes out I got class. Balls.
[vid]https://vt.tumblr.com/tumblr_o3161xGzRG1skyru2_480.mp4[/vid]
I'm still sad the Xanthous crown hat isn't a big dumb tornado of cloth like the yellow monk head wrap. I mean I know it was reduced in size probably so you could actually see while using it but it was always good fun.
I took three days off work but it was Wed/Thur/Fri. Gotta work through Tuesday before I can sit down and play it.
question to air I've been a fan of ds for a while now. However, I've never hugely gotten into the expansion content for whatever reason. Played through ds1 twice (once without dlcs, once with). In the first game the only thing that really got me was the artorias fight. Loved it a lot, but found the rest kind of lacking. For that reason, I haven't played any of the dlc for ds2. So, would people strongly recommend the expansion content for ds2, and also, do you think I should just go for the base ds3 or for the season pass too?
I'm playing through DS1 right now, kinda speeding my way through it. Man the game just feels so good, and combat is much more satisfying than DS2
80 is a bit steep for me as I rarely purchase games on release, I'm a "wait a year for it to drop" type, buttttt it's dark souls
For DS3, I'd wait, but two of the three DS2 expansions are so much better than most of the base game it's ridiculous
So is Amazon going to give keys out at the proper time or is it actually going to make me wait until 12AM PST when im in EST.
