Dark Souls + Demon's Souls + Bloodborne Megathread VIII. At The End

What were those mods that helped with Cooping in DS1 again?
I'm playing Bloodborne with the volume turned off in the options so I can listen to podcasts while I play, and I got to Ludwig and while the cutscene played the volume was no longer muted and it was SO LOUD it completely caught me off guard and got me killed when I was frantically trying to skip the cutscene
jesus christ
Just finished DS1 for the first time the other day (first time I've played an ARPG other than TES), onto DS2
These games have a magical tendency to bring out the fact that I miss important items in plain view all the time and then spend half an hour circling around a room until I realize the relevant item was 3 feet away

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh
The wait is unbearable
Easiest way to enjoy a Dark souls game is always just accept first and foremost in some way at least more than once, you are going to get TOTALLY FUCKED OVER, use it as a learning curve and deal with it.
I've been back playing Bloodborne more than DS2 lately though as i feel the way the combat and movement works its a bit more similar to BB than DS2 so it'll feel more natural.

try being a pathetic waste of space like me and sleeping all day. it's worked for me the past 3 weeks
Not asking for spoilers but in dark souls 3 how are the boss fights and music? Are they memorable or at atleast better than 2?
yeah mostly. i can't help but be a little disappointed by them. they were so good, that there didn't feel like there was enough of them. the double edged sword to ds3 is that the better it is, the more you want. i just hope we get dlc's sooner rather than later
[editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
ALTHOUGH IT seems like I did take less damage on the Xbone version (enemys and bosses have the same amount of health though pretty sure) so maybe when they are more challenging on PC, and I don't use the idiot fucking [sp]fume sword[/sp] they will last more.
And now, having finished bloodborne (and sadly unable to do the DLC due to circumstances) I have no FROM rpgs games to play.
Fuck.
Oh well, there's NG+ and chalices I guess.

If you have a 360, PS3, or PS2, play Armored Core and experience difficulty like you've never experienced before.
It took me several years and going from a boy to a man to beat armored core: silent line.
I hope that DS3 will be the Souls game where I am able to overcome "whoops i abandoned my new weapon type build because i found this really big sword".
The Black Knight Sword has killed many a dex-type run for me. All of the weapons look really cool, I have no idea where to start.
I changed my build many times after finding a fucking cool huge sword or some sick katana or something else unique, too many cool things in ds3.
I get the feeling at least an hour or two of my run will be dedicated just to picking up all of the weapons and sitting in an empty room/low level area and playing with the Weapon Arts.

Ok i just broke my vow and started looking on the wiki, fucking hate myself right now!
Why can't April 12 be today?
Anyone on PC have characters in the >2.25 mil soul memory range? I made a new character to rush NG++ to complete the miracle/hex/pyromancy achievements, but didn't put the Agape ring on soon enough. I can't get summons for co-op for the Sun Spear.
This is for base Dark Souls II, by the way. Gotta finish it out before uninstalling for good.

2.25 mil SM should be a perfect range for NG++. I think the problem is more of the fact you're on vanilla and not SotFS, which most people switched over to. I'd help you but I uninstalled vanilla a long time ago.
I have this baller design professor
"Hey professor, I'm not gonna be in for class next week"
"Why's that?"
"I won't lie to you, I'm gonna be playing Dark Soul 3"
"Oh that's good because I'm not gonna be here next week either for the same reason"

100%ing Silent line is an experience

Also if you're a true masochist you gotta play this

I still don't know how I'm supposed to beat the level in SL with the sandstorm.
You know, the level where a sandstorm scrambles your radar, targeting, and severely limits your vision but the enemy MTs can target you perfectly then once the sandstorm clears, an extremely agile, really heavy hitting AC shows up to finish you off.
Then in AC4 and FA, enemy NEXTs were obviously cheating like CUBE who is constantly boosting and beating him comes down to luck because you better hope he boosts himself out of the arena because you are not going to hit him

You think that's bad try making an AC that you have to go through the previous mission as well (To get the hidden part) which is on top of those planes so you have to make both an agile AC and a tanky one.
(Or the mission where you have to beat like 4 ACs in a row at the end to get the hidden part)
[sp] ive been focusing the dogs first but i just feel like im getting shit on because of equipment. Im still trying to get used to the steam controller so i can attribute some of it to that but god damn i just feel like with most of the big bosses that i cant parry they just hit randomly once more in their attack pattern and i get shit on for half my hp. [/sp]
That whole fight is pretty much decided in the first like 15 seconds. If you can get to where you need to go to split everything up, it's pretty easy, but if you get caught it's over fast.
Hey guys, I'm having trouble playing online for a quick run through of DkS on PC. I don't get summoned when I put my sign down, and I don't see any signs or messages anyways so I assume I'm probably not online. However, there's no reason I should be offline; my internet is fine and I don't think DSFix would disable online. Tried switching download regions through Steam, no luck. Any ideas?
Does DS3 have a way to respec?
Shamelessly stolen from LMAO Pics.

I beat Queelag now I can get the fuck out of Blighttown.
For how much I don't like the level, I do enjoy exploiting the enemy pathfinding to make them commit suicide.
Also those snake monsters guarding Sen's fortress are strong. Are they a beef gate?
Oh my god, why did I upgrade the falchion. No wonder these fucking things are hard to kill
i just spent 3 hours getting through Forest of the Lost Giants, probably died more than Anor Londo, Sen's Fortress and Blighttown combined just simply to random mobs
I feel hollowed inside
I didn't find Blighttown that difficult to be honest, what makes people hate it so much?
I didn't find Blighttown that difficult to be honest, what makes people hate it so much?
Frames, poison/toxic and platforming

The poison and the mosquitoes.
i actually like blighttown, minus the fps nonsense.
watching ragdolls fall down several stories is funny to me.
