The Shrine of Ahaha (fuck you) isn't so bad. Until you get to the circle of pure sexual abuse. Fuck that place. Oh well, got invaded by someone just outside the fog door to the boss, and after telling me off for slapping them (don't surprise me like that, christ) I let them heal up just to get instantly wrecked by lighting everywhere.

I really hope we get something similar to the Maiden's outfit from Dark Souls. The Priestess Set looked dumb as fuck in DS2. Maiden Set is my favorite set.

i love how they're alluding to their previous games with those big boss boys aldrich, saint of the deep (bloodborne-esque lovecraftian abomination) farron’s undead legion, the abyss watchers (dark souls 1, artorias) yhorm the giant (dark souls 2 giants boys)

it honestly seems like they are taking the best parts of bloodborne (transforming weapons, faster gameplay, crazy alien lovecraft shit) and incorporating it to some degree in dark souls 3 im so fucking hyped, even if for some bizarre reason its like dark souls 2 it will still be miles ahead of every other AAA game

bloodborne was pretty short but it was fucking amazing, it honestly surpassed dark souls 1 for me in terms of memorable moments and general entertainment value if having a longer game means shit like lost izalith then i will gladly take something thats shorter and sweet either way, the first time i beat dark souls it took me some 55 hours, bloodborne was around 35

With all this stuff coming out I guess it's time to go dark. Bloodborne was fantastic playing it blindly, so this will be even better.

It's not just the end of the cycle this time. It's the end of the whole world. I for one am super glad Dark Souls 2 is incorporated into the lore, I was fearful they were going to dismiss it. I feel like characters like [sp]Aldia[/sp] would fit the premise of the game like a glove.

I'm still sticking with my original theory that we're going to turn off the sun.

Like the recent Dredd movie or something like that. Something where it's just a story that takes place in the universe, and that's what Ds2 feels like to me.

I mean, it is technically about the end of the world, but at the end of the day, the chosen undead doesn't really do much to change that. There are rarely any truly compelling stories that are about saving the entire world. Almost all of my favorite movies and books are relatively small, self-contained pieces of entertainment.
