A friend of mine is helping me out in Dark Souls II with co-op (which is far easier to do in this game and nets a nice amount of soul per run) and I decided to keep on playing the dual-wielding light warrior He also suggested to use two rapiers or two stocs, which is indeed a good move, since these weapons do slightly more damage than the starting swords and hit things in front of you, so the risk of bumping into walls and such is decreased Another things that's starting to annoy me about this game is all the bosses, barring the Last Giant, I've met this far being all big knights in different armors with a very similar moveset each. It's starting to get old REALLY fast

get used to it because about a third of the bosses are big dudes in armor
get used to it because about a third of the bosses are big dudes in armor
Why am I playing this game again?
I'm trying to figure out which two weapons to max out in Bloodborne. After completing The Old Hunters, and currently on my second play through on NG, I will have two Blood Rocks. I already have Ludwig's Holy Blade and the Blunderbuss at +10, and my stats are at 40 all across save for Bloodtinge at 20 and Arcane at 30 (trying to build that up so I can use A Call Beyond). I currently have 5 weapons at a +8 (Hunter's Axe, Blade of Mercy, Holy Moonlight Sword, Simon's Bowblade, and the Whirligig Saw) as I'm unsure which one of the 5 I should use Chunks on. Decisions, decisions...
get used to it because about a third of the bosses are big dudes in armor
Out of 41 boss encounters, 17 of them are big dudes, most of them armor, even more if you split things like the Throne Guardians into seperate numbers.
Why am I playing this game again?
Because despite all its flaws DS2 is still pretty fun.
Is there anything you guys are hyped for in DS3? The more RPG/expanded character building sounds fantastic to me.
Is there anything you guys are hyped for in DS3? The more RPG/expanded character building sounds fantastic to me.
I'm just hyped to be experiencing a souls game at launch. Trying to stay in the dark about everything.
Is there anything you guys are hyped for in DS3? The more RPG/expanded character building sounds fantastic to me.
Just seeing the fact that now you can rapid fire throwing daggers makes me excited to do a run where you can only use throwing weapons and items.
I'm mostly looking forward to the increased movement and attack speeds. After returning to DS2 after Bloodborne, I found the combat and traversal speed of DS2 to be mind-numbingly slow and it punishes the player for rushing with mobs of enemies. Even though Bloodborne has its fair share of mobs, they were a lot more manageable because of how quickly your character moves and strikes, imo.
I'm excited to play around with all the weapons and the sword arts.

too bad the japanese are gonna figure out everything first and leak it to shitkiddies on youtube just like in 1
I'm just hyped to be experiencing a souls game at launch. Trying to stay in the dark about everything.
I forced myself to go into Bloodborne blind, 8 months after its release. It was so fucking worth it. I'm not going to look at jack shit for Dark Souls 3 until it is released and I have played it a fair amount of time. It's what I did for Dark Souls 1, 2, and BB.
Holy shit, i just took out Orphan of Kos by myself after trying to summon people for the past few hours and then getting them or myself one shotted by whatever. He was an absolute cunt to fight.
Invaded some chump using an unlimited health cheat during the Looking Glass Knight boss fight. All the DLC bosses are done now, just need to pick up all the weapons and then get started on the dungeons again. Yay...
I'm going to start my NG+7, gravelord, all bosses run this weekend, I've been procrastinating it because I'm genuinely afraid of doing it (because I'm trash). My goal is to at least have it done before DaS3, and I don't know if I can do it, at least you guys can give me moral support.

It makes me wish there was a save editor for Dark Souls PC.
I've been playing SotFS recently, and man some of the changes are really, really shitty. Like, 'let's double down on shitty waves of enemies' shitty.

I just want to create PvP characters and special PvE runs without all the effort. I did it on the 360 with a flashdrive and this weird program.

I've been playing through Bloodborne on a friend's PS4 lately. I think I'm just gonna buy The Old Hunters for it next time I go there. I want those tasty weapons.
