I always liked the bonfire more. Nothin like sitting by the bonfire with your bro siegmeyer and the crestfallen knight at the worlds end drinkin some sunny D waiting for the whole thing to blow over

I've been watching Lobos Jr play through that series. It seems pretty cool/fun.
[t]http://puu.sh/n2CgN.jpg[/t] there's also this
Childhood moonlight :ok:
It's obnoxious as all hell but not impossible. From what i understand, the parry frames only happen after the animation plays, so parry pretty much right before they swing and not during the swing like in DS1, but i'm no professional.
Thanks. I'm trying to beat The Pursuer with the ballistas but I managed to parry him like once :v: [editline]10th February 2016[/editline]
parrying isn't as instant in dark souls 2. there are wind up frames before the parry frames when you press L2. this also differs from the type of weapon/shield you use as well. i had the most success with parrying in dark souls 2 when i bait my enemies into attacking. it's great fun when you pull it off. i don't think it's necessarily worse, just something different you have to get used to. i'm assuming you're talking about pvp though. pve parrying in dark souls 2 is pretty much worthless.
Yeah I don't use parry in PvE but I want to beat The Pursuer so I am trying the ballista method which need parrying :v:
Thanks. The trick to him is to obviously use a small shield like the buckler and to bait and then parry his charges, right when he's swinging his sword after the charge is when you need to parry.
only if you're trying to beat him solo
I am. If anyone has SotfS on PS3 and wants to help let me know :v: [editline]10th February 2016[/editline]
The trick to him is to obviously use a small shield like the buckler and to bait and then parry his charges, right when he's swinging his sword after the charge is when you need to parry.
I'll try that today. I died like 10 times already trying to parry him.
This reminds me of that time I made a really really really shitty picture to try and explain what the Scholar was to a friend. He's essentially a tree dude poking out of the ground at a small slant, inclined towards the direction of his right shoulder. This is actually kind of corrected in SotFS since you more clearly see all of his body during the bossfight but you're still essentially looking at a guy poking out of the ground.
You realize that they're talking about the fact that there's an MLGS in every From game, right? Also why would you cover a perfectly good sword in shit like that, come on now.

For some reason, I always saw him as a giant wooden chickenhead coming out of the ground.
So, the release date has changed on the Steam Store, for Dark Souls III. It says it unlocks in 5 days, now.
So has there ever been an explanation on why DaS1 is the only game of the 5 games to not have a maiden or helper of some kind? Like was making the bonfire the way to level up the planned way or was it more of a last minute decision? I always kind of thought that it was a last minute change to make the bonfire the place to level up and that originally that the firekeepers (Anastacia, Lady of the Darkling, and Quelaag's Sister) where going to be your means of leveling up. Then again, I could be wrong and just overthinking it. v:v:v
[t]http://www.khwiki.com/images/5/52/Ultima_Weapon_KH.png[/t] To each his own, I suppose
The fuck is this shit? That ain't a moonlight.
The Shrine of Ahaha (fuck you) isn't so bad. Until you get to the circle of pure sexual abuse. Fuck that place. Oh well, got invaded by someone just outside the fog door to the boss, and after telling me off for slapping them (don't surprise me like that, christ) I let them heal up just to get instantly wrecked by lighting everywhere.
Seems someone didn't play it pre-patch back when the game released.
Seems someone didn't play it pre-patch back when the game released.
I remember having to punch through that shit on NG+ Those 4 god damn archdrakes with the two or three casters, man.
And still no "Pre-Purchase" button, goddammit.
That 5 day release date is probably for the pre-purchase button.
It says discount for previous DS owners on pre purchase. Nice.
It says discount for previous DS owners on pre purchase. Nice.
Hope it's not -5% for each previous game.
It still says April 11 on my end. Am I looking wrong?
FIFTY GIGS
Wait, now it's says it will unlock in 10 hours??? What's going on?
FIFTY GIGS
Kinda lame but that's the current trend of games Unless there's some uncompressed 30GBs of audio or something
Just changed back to April 11. This has to be a mistake on Steam's end.
Wait, now it's says it will unlock in 10 hours??? What's going on?
Says it'll become available in april for me Steam bugging out probably
